Well done on seeing off the holiday gain.👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 I know we'll gain on holiday but it's worth persevering in between to be 'good when we can' and keep as close to target as possible.
We're meeting my niece on Sunday as she's passing close to us on the way back from a wedding. We've decided on a Wetherspoons close to the motorway to make it easier for her. I'll be driving so shouldn't be too synful. 🤞🏼
Hope the quiz nibbles won't derail your week @Coxy11. I plan to try on my hot weather holiday clothes and just hope they all fit. It's not so easy to hide gains in the sun.🤣
My car has been in the garage since Wednesday but is due back this afternoon. Hopefully I'll be able to do my weekly shop but have enough in for dinner if I can't get it done today. There's no cold meat left so may have an egg with my lunch.
Today's plan-
B- HEB toast, scrambled eggs (P), tomatoes (S), HEA milk for drinks
L- egg? (P), bubble & squeak with pickles (F,S)
D- salmon (P), potatoes (F), roast veg (S)
Syns- weekend wine😊0 -
Evening all .

Dunno how i will be done tomorrow at WI 🤔 will soon find out!

Fake kfc, salad and beans

Morning all, a bit cloudy at the moment but supposed to be brightening up (and warming up) later. Have stripped the bed and got everything in the machine. I've also got a small load of washing to do after as well (mainly socks - I think they multiply in the wash bin!)
I only won SOTW once and that was over the Christmas/New Year one year when I managed to lose the week before and after Christmas! Think it was probably because I wasn't drinking at that time as still getting to target!
Good luck @bubbs and @jellybaby for your WIs this morning.
Today's plan:
B - bacon sandwich - HEB; P; 3
L - LO cottage pie, veg - P; S; F
D - HB braised steak and onions, mash, veg - P; S; F (I'll be using cubed beef rather than whole steaks)
HEA - milk
HEB - bread
Syns - LF spread 3; couple G&Ts 6
Have a good day everyone.0 -
Morning all
WI with STS bit odd as had little appetite & tummy issues again 🙄. Fatigue from hell, to the point my colleagues were concerned how quiet I was! Not sure what that says about me normally 😂. Slept a lot after work as well . SATs didn’t help (went ok though).
Colleagues also commented on my weight saying I looked unwell & losing weight again! Scales don’t agree though 😳. Maybe it was because I wasn’t wearing a bulky hoodie in the warm weather 🤷🏼♀️.
Anyway one more week then half term 🤗
Finally returning to home dialysis with a home visit on Friday (more time off 🙄).
Enough moaning!Have a great weekend all hope the ☀️ shines! Its not what you do but the way that you do it, thats what get results :T

Do hope you feel better soon TIE, it's horrible when you feel constantly tired. A STS is good under the circumstances. Glad the home dialysis is going to restart - got to be better than having to go to hospital all the time. Hope the home visit goes well on Friday, even if it does mean more time off!
Sun still not shining here but it definitely brightening up a bit so hopefully it will appear this afternoon! Washing is blowing nicely in the breeze.
Have made a batch of humous this morning and have worked out the syns to be 1 per Tbs so not too bad as a couple of Tbs is usually enough for me as I find it quite rich with using tahini rather than the SW recipe with natural yoghurt which to be honest doesn't even taste like humous to me! Would rather syn the real thing!
I've got a load of dried chickpeas still soaking which I'm planning on making falafel with later and will bake them when I make the braised beef this evening. I like them as a snack with a bit of yoghurt or as the protein element on a salad. DH finds them a bit dry with them being baked but loves them fried but I'm not going there!!!

Hi all, at long last I think I have all your sunshine and heat 🤣. It’s toasty and I’ve just sat in the garden having a coffee and a read of my book - this is getting to be a habit!A wee half off this morning. I think I’m going to try and use more syns this week. Cutting out alcohol means I’m using only one or two a day. I nearly bought some crisps and nice bread but these are both triggers and if I start I won’t stop! Maybe look at some nice dressings for salads.
The weight might not be coming off as quickly as I’d like but I definitely feel a lot better - no alcohol is probably playing a part in this too. Anyway, I had fruit and yoghurt when I got in from class and will have a ham salad soft pitta for lunch with some salad cream 1.5 syns and pickles. Meatballs in tomato sauce with spaghetti and Parmesan for dinner 🥳0 -
Well done on your half off @Jellybaby - at least it's in the right direction. I also find that I struggle to have syns if I don't drink but it paid off this last week not drinking as wanted to lose the weight I'd put on while away! I was virtually tee total when I first started SW but started having the odd glass of wine to up my syns most weeks! Trouble is I found I really like wine so try not to drink it apart from on holiday or when out for a meal as I drink too much. G&T is far better for me in that respect as a couple if plenty.
As I'm not drinking as much at the moment I'm eating the little packs of mini party rings (I think they're 4.5 syns a pack - at least that's what I'm counting them as!) and I find that's enough of.a sweet hit for me.
Right must go now as need to sort out lunch.0 -
Afternoon all .
TIE glad dialysis has been sorted, sorry you are so tired.....i know the feeling i was awake every hr again last night 😢
Bloody freezing here!!
Well done Jelly and send the sun back please 😂

I just had them crackerbreads you can have 8 for hexb for lunch but i had 4 for 4 syns, 1/4 hexa with scraping of cheese spread, ham and beetroot and they were bloody lush for a change. I was going to have egg wraps but forgot to buy some eggs and only have 4 and saving them incase i need them 😂😂
Pitta pizza for tea, bns chips and salad
Might have weekend wine gums 😂
