That's right @joedenise, we've not seen a post about a wee loss for ages! How are you doing @beanielou?🤔🤗

The weekend seemed to just disappear, sorry for not posting. The weather is definitely on the turn, far more like the unpredictable stuff we usually get.

Well done to losers over the weekend. You got me thinking @Jellybaby of how I'd use syns if I didn't use them for wine. I think I'd probably have more of DH's 70% chocolate. I enjoy a square of that with a cuppa after dinner. He breaks a 7syn bar into 8 pieces and gives me one so I'm OK with that but I could certainly enjoy a bit more. 😋

It's probably looking drawn with the tiredness that your colleagues are confusing with weightloss @TakeItEazy. Roll on half term so you can have a bit of a rest!

I've stayed more or less perfectly on plan over the weekend. I did use some honey in a stir fry and a pork casserole yesterday evening but otherwise just the usual wine syns (not wine gum syns @bubbs🤣).

We had a lovely time  with my niece yesterday. I treated them to lunch and it came to just over £50 for 5 people with drinks. I rarely go to Wetherspoons, as the local ones are really grotty and in need of refurbishment, but they are certainly good value for money. I had a JP with beans and cheese so SW friendly.👍🏼

Enjoy your dinner @joedenise. I'm sure it'll be delicious, as cooked by a chef, and then just drawn the line afterwards.

I'm making lasagne today. It may mean going over a bit on HEAs but otherwise it'll be fine. I do have BoB milk as it was on offer so that'll help a bit.

    Today's plan-
B- HEB porridge, strawberries (S), banana (F), (part) HEA milk
L- JP with cottage cheese and pickles (P,S,F)
D- lasagne (P,S,F, HEA for milk and cheese) with salad (S)
    Syns- extra HEA?

Way too much happening here. A dear friend has cancer. Another had a stroke. Another lost their son to cardiac arrest.
I have had to have ‘a fitness to drive’ appointment & the final result is awaited.
    Lots of falling.
By a miracle I seem to be hovering at the top of target bubble.

Thanks for letting us know @beanielou. That's a lot of worry for you. 🤗 Well done on keeping your weight under control.

Change of plan for lunch, decided to have an omelette instead of JP. Also forgot 1 syn for cornflour in lasagne sauce.

My goodness @beanielou you do have a lot on your plate. Hope your driving result comes quickly and it’s the outcome you want.

I'm finding eating more syns challenging. I’m so used to keeping syns for alcohol or going out! I did indeed have some Percy’s yesterday and although I enjoyed them at the time, I later thought it was a waste of syns 🤣 Trying to use more A and B choices within meals and syn them rather than eat rubbish or eat for the sake of it. I’m trying not to get too fixated on it as it will probably all change after the scales next week 🤣🙄

Today I’ve had baked oat muffins with yoghurt and strawberries for breakfast (HEXB and 2 syns for yoghurts), smoked ham salad and pickles (1.5 syns for salad cream). Snap! @maman dinner is some lasagne from the freezer with leftover roasted veg on the side (counting both HEXAs for cheese and 5 syns for a piece of garlic bread).

    Evening all .

Beanie, sorry you are going through all of that 😪

Hope you get the right result for fitness to drive 🙏

TIE , do you think part of your tummy troubles are stress/nerves as well? Hope you soon feel better.

Denise, hope DH gets on ok.

Jelly, i know what your saying about Percy, but it's nice to have a few sweets sometimes 😁 that's why i find it hard to use syns normally not being a drinker.

My friend went tesco couple of weeks ago and they had some finest gammon reduced and she messaged me to see if i wanted any, i had one and froze it, i cooked it yesterday sliced it today and it was beautiful, i have bagged it up and in freezer again.

    Hi all,

Had a really busy and fun weekend - not on plan at all!! BFF and her DH came to stay and then we had all the family for a BBQ last night.

I too can’t believe I got lost @joedenise!! Re haberdashery shops - the one in Faversham is in the market place - All Stitched Up. I also saw a good one in Whitstable on Saturday - The Fabric Shop in Harbour Street. Might Dunelm in S’bourne have zips 🤔

Sorry you are dealing with so much atm @beanielou  - a miracle that you’re still in target range xx

We are still eating up BBQ leftovers as determined not to waste anything. So on plan for breakfast and lunch but dinner is a use it up affair 😳

Thanks for the info @Coxy11.  I know about the fabric shop in Whitstable but more likely to get to Faversham before that.  Hadn't thought about Dunelm but certainly worth a look if I get over there before Faversham!

Morning all - sunny here and I’m planning to do some gardening today 😊

Breakfast was a yummy toasted protein thin with poached egg and a banana. Will have a picky plate of salad leaves, vine tomatoes, sprout slaw and chicken for lunch. Tonight it’s the WI annual meeting and we get fish n chips delivered. I will take off the batter (doesn’t agree with my tummy) and have a few chips.

    Have a good day everyone.

I have sun too and apparently reaching 24 degrees today. Another day reading in the garden anyone 😁 when I have time to myself I’ve been quite lazy over the last few weeks. DS1 says I’m having well-being time which sounds better 🤣

Only had coffee so far as I don’t feel hungry. Lunch is probably cold meat, fruit, salad stuff and pickles. I like the sound of sprout slaw @Coxy11 is that Brussels sprouts? I love sprouts!
Dinner is chicken curry with rice. I should probably have a soft pitta and some cheese with lunch to use HEXs and I might snaffle one of DS’s fancy ice lollies to use some syns.
