Morning all, it's a lovely bright start to the day and looking to be staying that way until this afternoon when it's forecast to cloud over with a very slim chance of rain around 4-5pm - only about 3-5% chance so will probably miss it.

It was WI for me this morning and pleased to say have managed to shift another lb!  I'm now just 0.5lb above target range.  Am going to keep track of what I'm eating and drinking with a food diary sheet for a few weeks before my holiday in the hopes of shifting a few lbs more!

    Today's plan:

    B - bacon and mushroom sandwich - HEB; P; S; 3
    L - roast pork salad - P; S; 0.5
    D - faggots, mash, veg P; S; F; 1 (which we didn't have last night as didn't need anything!)

    HEA - milk
    HEB - bread
Syns - LF spread 3; Ryvita 1; salad dressing 0.5

    Have a good day everyone.

Well done on the loss @joedenise 👏

It’s a warm sunny morning here, not what was forecast but I’ve got a load of towels on the line anyway.

Shopping day and I’ve written the menu plan for the week. Apart from the usual fruit, veg and yoghurt not much to buy as I’m trying to use up what’s in the freezer and cupboards before I go away at the end of next week.

    Today’s food:
    Breakfast - banana, yoghurt, coffee
Lunch - either ham salad roll at mums or baked potato if we eat out
Dinner - gammon steak, chips and leftover roasted veg

    Have a good day everyone.

That's great news @joedenise. Well done on your pound loss.👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

We're in much the same position now as I was 0.4lbs over when I weighed earlier in the week. I don't use the SW food diary sheets as I prefer to write my own in a notebook. Basically, I write my daily menu in the same way as I do on here so I know I've had a good balance of food values and HEXs then I have a column where I keep a running total of syns so I know what's left from the 105.

I do the same as you @Jellybaby in that I write a menu plan for the week and the shopping list to go with it, making sure I plan to use up anything fresh at the start of my week. I always include at least one freezer meal so that it can stay where it is if plans change. I only plan for dinners and buy in ingredients for breakfasts and lunches (like eggs, ham etc) as we decide on those daily.

It's dry and warm here but rain promised for later that's meant to stretch into tomorrow. Who knows if it will happen as yesterday's rain never materialised.

Because I didn't do a roast last Sunday, I've not had my usual LOs for lunch so I'm still thinking about what to have today.  I'll probably have a salad of some sort as I know I have some leaves to use up.

    Today's plan-
B- HEB toast, eggs (P), mushrooms and tomatoes (S), HEA milk for drinks
    L- tuna salad ? (P,S)
D- sausage casserole with pasta (P,F,S)
Syns- LTL mayo 1, BGTY sausages 2, weekend wine😁

Morning all, we had the forecast rain overnight but has stopped now but still a bit grey.

Good luck for WI @bubbs (for a gain) and @Jellybaby (for a loss).  Seems weird wishing someone luck for a gain on a SW thread!

Having an early lunch today so that is now in the oven as need to head out around 12.30 to take my friend to the station as she's off to a wedding.  DH is going to pick her up tonight after the reception so may well be a later night that usual.

Will do a bit of shopping while we're out (as long as the carparks aren't too busy - can wait until Tuesday if they are) as nothing is urgent except for a loaf of bread.

    Today's plan:

    B - sausage sandwich - HEB; 5
    L - quiche, chips, beans - P; S; F
    D - goat curry (from freezer); rice; mango chutney - P; S; 3

    HEA1 - milk
    HEA2 - 0.5 cheese
    HEB - bread
    Syns - sausages 2; LF spread 1.5; chutney 3

    Have a good day everyone.

After my week of more syns (and Percy Pigs) I lost a wee half pound this morning. Least it’s off but don’t think the extra syns made any difference apart from stress me out a bit!

Can I ask those who eat rice and pasta, do you measure it out and if so, how much per person?  I normally just eyeball pasta and use a mug to gauge rice for me and DS2 but I’m conscious I normally have leftovers and I’m not into the ‘they’re free food, eat as much as you want’.

    Afternoon all (fatigue hit 😢)
WI loss of 1lb. Not much appetite going on, not eaten much at work, often brought lunch home again.
Issues are probably stress & IBS related although not eaten anything I know triggers. Just seems to be food in general 😳.
So glad it’s half term 🫩

Yesterday was supposed to be a home visit from Kidney centre so took (unpaid) time off but they never turned up 😡. Still hubby got to do dialysis early & drop bloods at hospital before dropping me at work! Wish I hadn’t gone in as loads of paperwork from previous days sports day first aid including broken arm, knee in leg brace & sprained ankle! All required hospital visits so extra paperwork 😳.

No wonder I fatigue crashed 🫩

So now feet up to recharge 🥰 have a good weekend all 🤗
Its not what you do but the way that you do it, thats what get results :T

Just made a banging cheese and chive  waffle sandwich, 1/4 hexa,

Forgot to tell you my sister had to have her dog PTS on Thursday 😢😢 like she said they had been through alot with losing her DH , they made her get up in the mornings and go out, she said surprisingly Willow seems ok.
