Hope you can get some help or at least some details of suppliers @bubbs xx

I didn’t get on yesterday - I was in the office and spent my lunch break getting bits for DNephew’s birthday later this week.

I put on 1lb last week. I need to plan better as have just been grabbing snacks over the weekend due to decorating. Even looked at jabs!! I’m not overweight enough according to the online questionnaire and besides, I’d be worried about side effects.

I have a shiny new notebook, so I’m going to spend some time meal planning later (including breakfast and lunches) - currently only do main evening meals. I really don’t want to go back to group as feel I know the plan, it’s just sticking to it! I feel so uncomfortable in my clothes and now it’s shorts weather it’s even worse but I know I can do this. I’m following someone on YT who is also getting back on it, so will use her vlogs as inspiration as well as this thread 😊

Really pleased you've got a date for the surgery @bubbs. Not something to look forward to but it has to be better than waiting and worrying.🤗

Hope you've got close to the bottom of the washing mountain @joedenise. That's the trouble after a holiday. Well done on such a small gain after two weeks of eating (and drinking😉) in pubs and restaurants. Any that you'd recommend?🤔

I'd hoped that, after your various holidays, your parents wouldn't expect you to be around whenever @Jellybaby. I think you'll just have to go away again! 🤣 I'm sure the lasagne was delicious.😋 I'd invite you round tonight but it's a bit too far.

Glorious day here again.😎 We've got two sets of painters in today. There's a pair painting the hall/stairs/landing that we've called in as I don't want DH balancing on ladders. Then the builder's contractor is painting the outside of the new extension to match the rest of the house as it was too cold and wet to do it in November. No problem about paint drying today and it's warm enough to have doors and windows open.😁

    Today's plan-
B- HEB toast, eggs, bacon (P), baked beans (F), HEA1 milk
L- ham (P), potato and veg hash (F,S), pickles (S)
D- spaghetti with meatballs in tomato sauce (P,F,S), HEA2 Parmesan
    Syns-0

Afternoon all, it's another gorgeous day today but we had to take the motorhome into the garage this morning as been waiting on them getting a new wiper motor as our wipers seem to be on a go slow so no good in heavy rain (not that we generally travel in heavy rain - would rather stay put another day!).  Only time we's travel in heavy rain would be if we needed to leave a site (in the UK) or to catch a ferry (in France).  Only problem with taking it in first thing I didn't have time to get the bedding off - could have got that done today with this weather but hopefully we'll get it back while the weather is still good.  I got 7 loads of washing done, dried, folded and put away over the 2 days we were back including one load of bedding.  Just the bedding that's till on the van bed to do now.

Glad your DH has got a date for his operation now.  Definitely worth him applying for PIP as he'll be needing extra help.

Can't say we found any good restaurants but Poppins (in Southampton so close to you @maman) was pretty decent and all food cooked to order and very reasonably priced.  It's more a cafe than a restaurant but we used 2 different ones and they were one of the few places that do SW friendly food other than Spoons although probably won't be going there very much in the future as they're taking off the 1/2 chicken which I usually have and the mixed grill which DH usually has (if not having F&C!) and replacing them with 4 more different burgers!!!  With so many places doing burgers why can't they stick with doing some SW friendly meals!

    Today's plan:

    B - Weetabix, milk, blueberries - HEB, HEA2(part), S
L - Split pea soup - S; F (not really the weather for it but never mind!)
    D - Goat curry, rice, mango chutney - P; S; F; 3

    HEA1&2 (part) - milk
    HEB - Weetabix
    Syns - mango chutney 3

    Have a good day everyone.

    Evening all.

Thanks, yes we are glad he does not have to wait long, as long as it's not bloody cancelled day before!

We went unit this morning, came out about 1.30 got in the car and it said 29!!

We are going company shop tomorrow 😜 see what bargains we can find. nothing more cheers me up 😂 (well apart from when dh comes through all of this 🫰🫰)

Mum made me laugh today, she had problems with her hot water, but she pays into an insurance thing, has done for a long time, so rang them up 9.05 yesterday and then came at 1.45, she needed a new pump on her boiler, the chap had to go in the garage and turn the electric off. Anyway when he had done, went back in to turn it back on and must have knocked it again but the garage door shut (its electric) Mum only had this fitted a few mths ago as she was struggling to put it up and goes in there alot as freezer in there. So chap comes back and said have you got something manual to open with, Mum was in her tip me out chair, but obviously couldn't tip her out as no electric 😂  what a a carry on!! He helped her out to get the manual thing to open the door with.
He put everything back really neatly she said in the airing cupboard. So lease she didn't have to do that.

    Food today

    Picky plate free

Fajita and 1 hexa cheese, bns chips

Morning all, weather not as nice as yesterday but forecast to warm up later but only to about 16 or 17 degrees.  Quite chilly after the last few weeks!

The goat curry last night was very tasty and pleased to say there's enough for another meal so that has been bagged up and frozen.  I've got 2 more lots of goat in the freezer so that's another 4 meals still to come.  Will definitely be buy more in the future but have to travel down to the butchers in Faversham to get it.

Off to the dentist shortly, DH has had to cancel his appointment as he's got a sticking cough and cold but has got another appointment for 23rd so not too long to wait and hopefully the cold should be gone by then!

    Today's plan:

    B - scrambled eggs, spinach, toast - HEB; P; S
    L - tuna salad - P; S; F
    D - fish pasta bake, salad - HEA2; P; S; F; 3.5

    HEA1 - milk
    HEA2 - cheese
    HEB - bread
Syns - cheese sauce mix 3.5

    Have a good day everyone.

I’ve just read a long catch up. Sorry to hear the news about TIEs hubby but pleased Bubb’s hubby has a date and it hadn’t spread.
Not sure where time has gone….its taken to a different time frame since Dh finished work. I went to SW last week and was pleased I’d only put 1 lb back on. I did try to get there this morning but ended up chatting with a neighbour who has been having a bad time and I couldn’t just ignore her…..anyway I was on the last minute anyway so missed the group. I ended up booking holidays for this week and next as I’m out tomorrow and we’re heading to Portmadoc (sp) next week.
Im finding sw tricky  atm but am trying to make good choices. I’ll reassess going to group when we get back as I think I’ve used most of my holiday weeks since rejoining and we’re away again soon. I know I need to loose the weight for my health and pain levels….but don’t want to turn down social situations as I’ve had many time when I’ve not been fit to do so…..I want to enjoy doing whatever I can do…..for as long as possible. That sounds very cynical 🥴
I had a friend come around for a meal yesterday so I made a veggie buffet….so it was mainly sw friendly 😃 We can eat on the leftovers for a couple, of days.
