It's glorious here too @Jellybaby and 22 degrees! I love it but it's energy sapping so don't blame you sitting out with your book. 😎

I don't eat a lot of yogurt but when I do, I buy the plain Greek yogurt from Aldi which is syn free. I either eat it with fruit or make overnight oats or use it mixed in with some mayo for Marie Rose sauce, it makes it really creamy. Yogurt and mayo mixed makes a good potato salad too along with some onion.

DH is out at a meeting later and when he gets back we'll be 'ships that pass'. That means I get to have dinner on my own so I'm taking the opportunity to have my favourite egg and chips!😋 He doesn't eat eggs so he'll get himself one of his macaroni cheese ready meals which I loathe.

    Today's plan-
B- HEB toast, eggs (P), mushrooms and tomatoes (S), HEA milk for drinks
L- LOs same as yesterday (P,F,S)
D- egg (P), SW chips (F), asparagus and some other Speed tbc (S)
    Syns- 0

    Morning all,

Hot here already!  NWD for me and I plan to prime the wood in DD’s bedroom today - I’m starting at 9am so hopefully not too hot. I’ll also pick up some more yoghurt and apples as have run out. Gardening may also be on the cards - loving the NWD’s!

Food yesterday was quite rice-y as I took LO mushroom risotto for lunch and we had chilli and rice for tea. I made the chilli on Tuesday in the SC and we reheated it - was lush and very flavoursome.

DH has gone camping and DS2 is staying tonight as dog-sitting tomorrow. So no egg and chips for me @maman

    Food today:
B - toasted protein bagel thin, poached egg - HEB, P
L - lol chilli and rice - free
D - creamy mustard pork and greens - freed
    HEA - milk
Syns - not sure yet but did get some Skinny Oaty bars - anyone able to tell me the syns for the golden syrup flavour please?

    Have a good day all.

Please send me some sunshine and heat! Typical we get one day…

    Enjoy your tea @bubbs

I’m rearranging the weekend I’d planned in Madrid.  An elderly relative is receiving palliative care and I’m busy running my parents back and forth visiting. I’ll wait until everything calms down then settle the dates.

    Today’s food
Breakfast - banana, yoghurt 1.5 and coffee
Lunch - w/meal roll HEXB, tuna salad, salad cream 1.5
Dinner - beef stew with carrots, onions and mushrooms, L/over hasselback potatoes and roasted veg

Oh no @bubbs, just when you'd psyched yourselves up for tomorrow. At least they're not treating it as urgent. Hope you enjoy the hot dogs. Olde Oak frankfurters aren't that synful.

I prefer to leave chilli for a while before I eat it @Coxy11 as it marinates and tastes much better. 😋 How are you getting on with the bloating? 🤔

Baking hot here too and it's making me feel very sleepy 😴, sorry @Jellybaby

    Today's plan -
B- HEB toast, eggs, bacon (P), baked beans (F), HEA milk for drinks
    L- tuna jacket with salad (P, F, S)
D- savoury mince, new potatoes and veg (P, S, F)
    Syns - 0

My thinking’s the same @bubbs they’re not treating it as urgent but you’d think a quick chat would make sense to ease your minds.

Im sitting here reading and have got a blanket over my knees! I think I might need to change my location when I look at houses 🤣🤣🤣

Maman no there 1 syn each for the big ones.

But they should be treating it as urgent he is a grade 9 out of 10!! Just hope it means no spread 🙏🙏 but doesn't help with moving forward and surgery 😪

Here is my food, these sausages would certainly cause sausage gate 😂

So frustrating about the appointment @bubbs. Hope you enjoy the hotdogs and thanks for the syn value xx

Blooming hot here too. I’ve had a really productive day - painting, washing, small food shop, vacuuming, long dog walk. Now watching telly!

No further bloating @maman. I really need to look at the report in more detail as they list anything over 85% intolerance. Lots of weird mushrooms on there but not chestnut thank goodness. Onions definitely and also wheat and lactose. The only mineral I’m lacking is iron but no way am I taking iron tablets. I remember what happened when I was expecting…. I’m still having to take sennokot regularly despite eating a fair bit of F&V. Just so annoying!

Was meant to be out to lunch on Saturday with friends but now one of them is hosting. We are all taking stuff to eat which suits SW and my budget!!
