Your mum has a great sense of humour @bubbs. Good on her!🤣

Brilliant bargains at the Company Shop, probably the best in a while.👍🏼

I've sorted out my meal plan and will shop later. I've been avoiding the Company Shop for a while as both my freezers are jam packed and I hate passing up a bargain.

I've probably gained a bit this week after some Easter treats but the timing was good as I have weeks before next WI. We're going to the cinema on Monday and will probably eat out and have a few drinks but that's 'the only thing to derail me' as a consultant might say.😂

    Today's plan-
B- HEB porridge, HEA milk, berries (S), banana (F)
L- Spanish omelette and pickles (P,S,F)
D- sausage casserole with pasta (P,S,F)
Syns- BGTY sausages 2, weekend wine😁

    Evening all

I said to Mum where did that come from? She said i thought of it a couple of months ago when someone rang for him after i had put the phone down, weird thing is Dad never used the phone so god knows who it was, i said who was it? she said i don't know i didn't ask 🤣

Spoke to Mum earlier it has knocked for 6 about my DH and with the phone saga she was really down 😪she said obviously i knew you was upset , i thought you was going to say we were splitting up 😱 bloody well hope not after 38 yrs!!

Yes they were good bargains Maman and had some of the chicken for my KFC and it was lovely, they were all sainsburys.

I feel like i have lost weight but when i say that i usually gain 😂Will soon find out tomorrow.

Your mum is funny 🤣 @bubbs.  Your lovely pics are making me look at ice-cream makers!

It was a STS for me this morning. There is definitely a pattern! Next week should be a small gain followed by a decent loss 🙈🤣. I’m going to work extra hard to break the cycle this week. I like a challenge haha.

Ive booked a couple of holidays for next month. A few days in Madrid then a week in Alicante. Never been to Alicante so fingers crossed it’s nice. Hoping this will be extra incentive to keep me focussed and losing!

Out for lunch and drinks today. Food I can watch, alcohol may be more of a challenge!  I’ll be getting the bus home as my DS taxi service is out so that will keep me on the straight and narrow 😉

    Morning all,

I have a houseful - DD had friends over yesterday all day and some have slept over. We only have two useable bedrooms right now so I have various young folk on sofas and in the dining room. The kitchen it is then!!

I had a day of leisure yesterday - plant sale first thing with DSis and we went for coffee and cake(!) after, then DH and I went to Herne Bay to give DD and friends some space. Only had coffee as despite being only 12ish miles away the temperature was decidedly brisk! We went to our local in the evening and I had 3 rums - ooops. DH is a bad influence. However I did do a lot of walking yesterday.

Well done to @Jellybaby and @bubbs for your STS’s. I will see what’s what tomorrow morning. We have a chicken arrabiata dish for dinner today. I am also food shopping later as the new norm sets in as working tomorrow.

Keep us posted @bubbs re: DH xx

Morning all, wi yesterday with STS. Have another week of unpredictable food as hubby has line removed tomorrow and new one in on Wednesday plus I am on residential trip after hubbies op on Wednesday (son is with hubby). That is of course if everything goes smoothly. He has to have antibiotics plus a blood transfusion & dialysis BEFORE removing his line 🥺. I normally go in to work after his treatment (only made it for an hour on Friday) doubt I will get there at all tomorrow 🙁.
Oh well at least the suns shining 🤗
Its not what you do but the way that you do it, thats what get results :T

Seems like a weekend of STS!

Good luck with your challenge @Jellybaby. When you lose is so unpredictable as are gains sometimes. Hopefully you won't have to wait long for your next loss despite staying on plan.🤞🏼

So your shoes came to the rescue @bubbs.😁 I know most of us would envy you being at the bottom end of range but it can be difficult. Try and have a few more treats this week and see if that works.🤔

It's such a difficult time trying to balance work with your DH's treatment @TakeItEazy but the sun should shine on you for the residential.😎 So much easier than when it's wet and miserable. I think you'll just have to do your best this week as food is going to be largely out of your control.

There are far worse tipples than rum for syns @Coxy11. Hope you're pleased with tomorrow's WI and this week's routine helps you stay on plan.😊

Yesterday was a typical on plan Saturday for me, wine syns and a half Crunchie at the football. Fortunately, it's almost the end of the season so that'll be 3 syns a fortnight I'll save!🤣

    Today's plan-
B- Fry up (P,S,F and HEB toast), HEA milk for drinks
    L- JP (F), prawns (P), salad (S)
D- JO roast pork (P), SW roast potatoes (F), loads of other veg (S)
Syns- LTL mayo 1, HM gravy 4, weekend wine😀

Maman you were so right…..the portions were minute. I could have eaten much more 😜 I wasn’t as impressed with the quality of the food this time. It might have been because we were totally blown away with the Alice in Wonderland Theme last time…..Wonders of the World weren’t as pleasing on the eye….the minute piece of lamb I had was very fatty and Dh had some very tough artichoke. There was a problem solving quiz with clues given at each course. That was certainly good and something totally different.
I’ve been back on plan today.
Brunch - bacon, egg, sausage 3 syns, heb bread, tomato and baked beans.
Late dinner early tea - cauliflower cheese, chicken cobbler with lots of leek, onion and carrots. I reckon about 8 syns and hea. I had a mini cobbler.
I popped to Mr M’s for the leeks and was really hot and could have just eaten one of the mini rip off magnums…..they work out about 6 syns…I went to the freezers and a box of 8 were £4.50…..I was sure I hadn’t paid that last time so made sure they stayed firmly where they were. I looked at the geraniums and they worked out £1 each…again they stayed on the shelf. I walked over to Ald! …..just to satisfy myself I hadn’t actually paid £4.50 in a moment of madness. They had the lollies for £2.38 for 8 and the geraniums that were about the same size worked out 47p each. Definitely pays to look around. Morrisons is literally around the corner from me and I find I’m visiting less and less - it’s gone very expensive. Right enough of my ramblings…..oh and the lollies are still in the freezer as the moment had passed 😂😂was going to have it after tea but was too full 😇
