Well done @Matron_Midge on the loss and @milann on sticking with it.Β

I realised at lunchtime the mug shots were actually golden savoury rice (mr magoo) so had plain tricolour pasta and a little cheddar sprinkled on top. Added some green beans to dinner for some extra speed.Β

No plans tonight but out for lunch with old neighbours tomorrow. I’ve chosen the venue and have checked out the menu. I need to be mindful both of syns and cost. Might have to have a brown bread sandwich or one of their Buddha bowls. Will see what my friends are having.Β

    Have a good evening all

    Well done Matron Midge!

I was an icicle after the school run so a nice hot bowl of porridge was required to warm back up!!Β

I was proud of myself as the kids & husband had hot dogs for dinner but I made a gorgeous tomato salad and air fryer marinaded chicken instead. But I’ve just realised that I put feta in it, but had forgotten I’d already had both my HEA earlier! Woops!Β

B - porridge with apple & brown sugarΒ
    (HEA - milk / HEB - oats / 2 - brown sugar)

L - tuna, red onion & sweetcorn pasta with cheddar
    (2 - light mayo / HEA - cheddar)Β

D - air fryer Greek chicken with tomato, parsley & red onion salad and a bit of leftover grated carrot salad, and feta - this was gorgeous but I’m annoyed now as I could have made it nearly free tbh with more thought.Β
    (4 - olive oil, 6 - feta)

    Drink - 5 syns for a prosecco.

So that’s already 19 syns because of my feta mix up! Argh! And there’s every likelihood I’ll have a second glass of Prosecco in a bit.

On the plus side - think how many it would have been if I’d had the hot dogs and chips for dinner. My salad was much nicer anyway πŸ˜†.Β

Oh well, at least it’s weigh in day so plenty time to recover.Β

I love the fake KFC too @bubbs. We had it tonight. πŸ˜‹

I'm still using cheap veg too. I've still got potatoes and white cabbage plus the swede, carrots and red cabbage in the freezer. . DH finished off the last of his 8p sprouts last night. That's it for him until next year. 🀣
