    Morning everyone,

Weigh in for me today - 1.5lbs loss for my first week back on it. NGL wanted more, but it's a loss! Deffo need to eat more speed and drink more fluid this week.

I'm knitting a teacosy @maman - you make two halves then sew them together - quite a simple design. Will share a photo once done. I have made one jumper in my life - took ages and was short boxy style once finished so I only wore it twice then charity shopped it! Much prefer smaller projects. Intrigued by diamond painting @bubbs!

Had a titchy glass of red with my roast chicken dinner last night lol!

    Food today:

    B - apple, satsuma - S
L - JP, baked beans, cheese, saladings - free, HEA, S
D - Turkey saltimbocca with green veg - P, (syns for two slices of parma ham pretty please anyone), S
    HEA - milk
    HEB - not yet christened
    Syns - ??

Going to set up Mum's smart TV this morning then food shopping, then knitting group this afternoon. It's all go.
    Have a good day all

    Could I please join.
I've been struggling with the plan for some time for different reasons, but am trying to stick with it as I've previously done fairly well with it.
Edit to add, I weigh in on a Wednesday at the moment and haven't stuck to plan for most of the past week am aware that I'm likely to have put on weight.
I'm aiming to get down to 10 stone.

I never follow the rules for wine, I drink what I like - usually red - be it fish chicken or beef. I also think there is a lot of cross over now with the new world wines and British wines. Reds are no longer the heavy wines they once were

I crochet, says she who hasnt picked up a hook in two years perhaps.  Part of my ADHD/Aspies, is I go full in on a new hobby, spend a ruddy fortune, and then never get around to the hobby. Buying for the hobby becomes the hobby  So lockdown when I was off the scale, I filled a room with yarn and have more sets of hooks then you can shake a stick at. I also did the same with baking equipment, Ive pans galore now and I cant tell you the last time I baked. and not one of you want to see my nail gels collection

Im feeling so well balanced right now that Ive been toying with selling the lot

The snow and ice has finally gone. It was actually 18oC warmer at 6 am this morning then it was on Friday morning so I have finally gotten out for a two mile walk - my knees needed it, they are seizing up from being sat around so much and just sitting having brunch and coffee before I make a start in the house

Been staying on track with meals all weekend, but I admit I finished off the Christmas cake last night, was just a wee bit sitting there getting stale and I thought sod it and down the hatch it went. Im not sweating over it, Im not eating syns in my meals nor am I drinking any - 12 days without a drink now - so I could "afford" it

Going to make doner kebab for tonight with as much speed as I can fit on my plate. I have flat breads for those that can, wholemeal pitta for me and skinny chips for those. Its the kind of tea that even mum likes as she can put on just the bits she likes, I like that its easy and syn free and full of speed and Mr W loves it cos theres always loads and he can shovel it in :)

    Brunch

Frozen berries, 35gr of Bio&Me ( HEB) and HM greek yoghurt

The bio&Me is a porridge mixed with seeds , carrot, fruit, nuts and its actually really nice, not that Ive made porridge with it, but its great for the above overnight oats as its a. very fine mill

Well done on your 1.5lbs loss @Coxy11. 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
Parma ham is 6.5 for 100g or half a syn per slice so you're not going to break the syn bank with that!😁

I'm sure you had more than enough syns saved from the lack of alcohol for the Christmas cake @weekendsaway. Well done on getting out for your walk. I'm sure it's good for raising the mood as well as the obvious Body Magic.👍🏼

Welcome @Pennypincin. Do you go to a group or are you going it alone?🤔 Slimming World definitely works and it's well worth persevering until it becomes second nature. I think where many people go wrong is to think of it as a diet and then, when they've lost weight, they go back to eating whatever made them overweight in the first place. 🤔

I definitely made the mistake over Christmas of extending the holiday well beyond the 3 or 4 proper festive days. I'm still feeling fat but I've got another straight week in control of meal plan before eating out again. I had thought I was having a carvery tomorrow but it's next Tuesday so I'm pleased about that.

    Today's plan-
B- HEB toast, eggs (P), baked beans (F), HEA milk for drinks
    L- ham (P), bubble &squeak (F,S), pickles (S)
D- baked cod (P), hassleback potatoes (F), various veg (S)
    Syns- 0

    Thank you.
    I attend a local group.
I managed to loose 5 stone, plus managed to reverse pre-diabetes.
I've put on around at least 3 stone back on but am persevering.
Breakfast today is a syn free vegetarian fry up.
Lunch, sushi and I forgot to check the syns until after and were 16.
Dinner will be home made ratatouille and homemade lentil and vegetable chilli with rice.
    Syns 16
    Hex a, semi skimmed milk.
    Hex a cheese
Hex b 2 small slices of bread

Wow @Pennypincin, that was an amazing loss and you're definitely doing the right thing to see off what you put back.
Tough luck with the sushi, many times it's low syn. ☹️

Hello all, lost track a little yesterday but I think it was ok and I did a cheeky mid week weigh in this morning, reassured to see I’m 1/2lb down with four days til weigh in!

Today was back to totally on plan though:

B - fat free Greek yoghurt, banana, nectarine, maple syrup
    (1 - maple syrup)

L - leftover chicken & cauliflower curry with rice
    (free)

D - butternut squash & coconut soup with a WM pitta filled with ham, cheese & rocket
(HEA - 30g cheddar / HEB - WM pitta / 3 - light coconut milk - used one can for the soup and had about 1/4 of the pot)

Pretty happy at four syns total today as everything was really tasty especially the leftover curry for lunch.
