Hello all, I have been reading along and offering congratulations or commiserations across the ether, but have not commented not wanted to whine about my health woes (nothing awful, just debilitating). I have had some great days on plan and some bad ones, only seesawed and lost 1/2 lb over the last 2 weeks, but not downhearted done it before and can lose weight again, longer days and better weather helping, body magic is good though.
Enjoy the rest of the weekend.

The pink pickled onions sound nice. I haven’t seen them. I’ve just had gherkins with hm burger which was lovely. I didn’t have a bun as we only had white ones in and I’d used my syns at a friends this afternoon having a couple of small glasses of rose.Brunch - omelette with onion, courgette, tomato, mushrooms and 1/2 hea a choice with baked beans. 1 syn for butter
tea - naked (the meat not me 😜) burger with 1/2 hea cheese, actifry chips gherkin, lettuce, tomato, cucumber and peppers 1 1/2 syns for oil in chips.
snacks - rose wine 12 syns

Shame about the wee gain @bubbs but really not that much overall.
You've really bitten the bullet rejoining and dropping your target @Jellybaby. Good luck!
Good to see you posting again @maddiemay. Sorry to hear you're still unwell but you can't be straying too far from SW. Well done!
It's been another glorious day here, hope you enjoyed your day out @Coxy11.
I prefer a naked burger @milann. I really don't like traditional burger buns. I recently discovered delicious deli rolls in Sainsburys but they don't seem to have many and they're quickly sold out. ☹️
Today's plan -
B- HEB toast, bacon (P), baked beans (F), HEA1 milk for drinks
L- veggie omelette and pickles (P, S)
D- Fake KFC (P), SW chips (F), garlic mushrooms (S, HEA 2), green beans and tomatoes (S)
Syns - weekend wine 😁0 -
Morning all,
Hope you feel better soon @maddiemay getting out in the garden certainly brightens the mood.
I was up with the larks again so whilst the washing machine was swishing another load of bedding, I prepped the mince, potatoes and veg for dinner tonight. Also made a sweet omelette for breakfast with banana and strawberries. I forgot to buy yoghurt so had a tablespoon of the low cal toffee syrup 0.5 syns.
I’ve now got access to the app again so feel more in control. I’m also completing a food diary so all guns blazing this week 🤣
I’m meeting a friend for coffee in town and think I’ll have a wander round the shops afterwards. I also need to buy some salmon for dinner tomorrow night, DS1 requested fish but his will be in batter and it’s not something I’d eat, SW or not!
Have a good day everyone.0 -
Lost 11/2 pounds at SW yesterday and got my I/2 stone sticker !Did it in 1 month think that’s the best I’ve ever done ,
been completely flattened with D&V since ,feel terrible
hoping for a good weight loss next week- silver linings etc!0 -
Suffolksue well done on 1/2 stone in a month 👏👏 Hope you feel better soon.
Jelly baby I’m exactly the same feeling much more in control now I have the app and I’m filling a diary in….not on the app though. I’ve following the first 6 week section in the book but writing it in my own plain notebook along with body magic and thoughts I have. I’m hoping for 1/2 stone in a month.
Maman unfortunately the Sainsbobs in my local town has closed and it’s an awkward bus ride now I don’t have my car. I go with Dh occasionally but always spend a fortune when he’s in tow 🥴😂 I’ll look out for them next time I’m in there.
Breakfast….bacon, sausage 3 syns, egg, beans, tomato, mushroom and heb toast. 1 syn for half teaspoon butter to fry egg.
Not sure how the rest of the day will pan out. Ds is coming round and taking us out we have a plan a and b.
plan a…..eat out
plan b….come home for stewed steak, mash and veg. This is all hm and been frozen and if not used today will be fine for tomorrow.A lot depends where we end up.January spends - £587.581 -
Afternoon all, what beautiful weather we've had all weekend. We got back about 11.30 so had lunch at home. I've drawn a line under the weekend as we ate out Friday and Saturday and also had plenty of wine. Not expecting a loss this week even if I manage to keep syns low all week but hopefully STS or a very small gain but we'll see.
Glad you had a great trip @Jellybaby and welcome back. Well done on rejoining and setting a lower target. You did well to only gain 8lb over the length of your trip.
Shame about your very small gain @bubbs but at least you're still in target.
Glad your new group is good @milann and you like the new consultant.
Well done on your half stone loss in a month @Suffolksue.
Good to see you posting again @maddiemay but not that you're still unwell. You are obviously well into SW ways with your weight only going up by 1/2lb in 2 week. Just do the best you can. You health must come first.
This is getting to be an essay so I'd better just post my plan for today:
B - fry up - P; S; F; 2
L - burger, onions, gherkins, WM roll - HEB; S; 0.5
D - beef bourguignon, mash (didn't have over the weekend as didn't need it after eating out!) - P; S; F
HEA - milk
HEB - WM roll
Syns - sausages 2; burger 0.5
Have a good day and enjoy the sunshine before the weather breaks again!1 -
Well done @Suffolksue. Half a stone in a month is excellent!👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
My serious gains are usually about half a stone or more from a 3 week summer holiday. You did so well to only gain your 9lbs from such a long trip @Jellybaby. I always do a food diary when I really need to knuckle down and lose. Like you @milann, I prefer to do my own in a notebook rather than a SW proforma or online. I write down daily menus a bit like I do on here and then keep a column at the side for a running total of syns.
I have had a few extra syns this week as I've been sucking on a few Lockets because of my cough/cold.
Did you mean you'll buy salmon for you and some battered fish for your DS @Jellybaby? I've been thinking that I've never seen battered salmon.🤔
This weather is amazing @joedenise. I don't blame you eating out while you were away. We'll have enough miserable weekends so it's best to enjoy it while we can.
Washing is out on the line and all dry but I'll leave it for an hour until the sun goes down.
Not seen @Bluegreen143 for a few days. I do hope she hasn't fallen off the wagon.
I'm not counting the syns in today's gravy. There's only 1tsp of cornflour shared between the two of us and I usually have enough left to freeze a portion to have with sausages or liver and onions.
I've got an OK week coming up except for Wednesday. It's my birthday and so syns won't be counted. I'm looking forward to a yummy Italian meal. 😋
Today's plan-
B- HEB toast, egg, bacon (P), tomatoes (S), HEA milk for drinks
L- JP (F), tuna (P), salad (S)
D- HB steaks (P,S), SW potatoes, parsnips, gravy (F), many other vegetables (S)
Syns- LTL mayo 1, weekend wine😊0 -
