Morning all, it's bright but cold this morning.  Was a bit foggy first thing but cleared by about 8am.  Have got 2 machine loads of washing out on the line.  Just about to have a black coffee to warm me up a bit - particularly my hands which are freezing.  Cold weather and wet washing aren't a good combination!

I'm glad my DH helps me with changing the bed - I'd struggle on my own as it's a Superking duvet and cover!

    Today's plan:

    B - Weetabix, milk, grapes
    L - stuffed peppers
D - roast chicken dinner with roasted veg and green veg

    HEA1 - milk
    HEA2 - cheese
    HEB - Weetabix
Syns - milk for cereal 2

    Have a good day everyone.

    Morning everyone.
No worries about the questions, I appreciate the support.
Have been really struggling with the plan again, especially after going out Saturday.
I'm sorry to mess about everyone.
And ask to join and keep wondering off.
I'm finding that it's really tough to stick to plan the last 6 months, partly because of studies, stress and becoming a little more socially busy after years of almost no social life.

Maybe you could post your menu plans each day to help keep you on track @Pennypincin?  I certainly helps me even if things don't always turn out the way planned.

We always say on here that SW has to work around your life not the other way round.  Every time you go off plan just draw the line and get back on it.  Another saying we have is Good when you can and Careful when you can't.

As @beanielou always say Keep Plodding!

    Hi everyone.
Just had a catch up on here. Lovely hearing how everyone is doing 👏👏
    😳😳cheese scones 😳😳😳
I did eventually get to a new sw group on Thursday. I’d started out for the 9.30. Dh was going to drop me off en route to where he was heading, but the traffic was at an absolute standstill. I got out of the car so he could go around the opposite way (it’s virtually a circular route and doesn’t matter which way round you go) I started walking and a bus came just as I was at a bus stop near the motorway junction. I jumped on and expected the traffic to get back to normal as it’s often backed up until it’s passed the motorway……no chance. I’d have been better off walking. It took 45 minutes for a 5 minute journey….but I was late anyway so sat on the bus. I didn’t want to be late for my first visit. So I went for a coffee and went to the 11 am one. The consultant was lovely a lot more life and OOOMP than the last lady….she was lovely but it was only a small class and we’d chat about everything except SW 🤷🏻‍♀️ Inwalked home in the sunshine 😁
I’d had a small gain so am definitely starting afresh as of last Thursday.
I’ve approached it like a totally new member and have read the books and am filling in a diary and writing everything that is in the ‘first 6 weeks’ section of the booklet….including measurements - I’ve never done that before and tracking my body magic. I love having the app back 😄
Im quite pleased with myself as I started with a streaming cold over the weekend and I’d usually use that as an excuse to eat all sorts to cheer myself up. I did go very slightly over but can make that up 👍
I had forgotten I’ve got something on on Thursday so will have to pop in to get weighed Wednesday evening…..not ideal but can’t be helped. Soooooo
    Today
breakfast - bacon, mushrooms, egg fried in 1/2 teaspoon butter (I’m trying to use fewer UPF) 1 syn….and the 1/2 teaspoon gives the butter flavour without having to use more butter spread on toast. HeB toast and an extra slice 5 1/2syns (couldn’t get to usual shop so had Aldi bread in 😳…was shocked at the syn-age 🤪)
dinner - hm soup…..broccoli, potato, carrot, cauliflower stalk, onion, celery and a tin of butter beans blitzed in to thicken and make creamy. Chicken chunks and 1/2 hea cheese
tea - actifry chips 1 1/2 syn olive oil, chicken, corn on the cob and carrots.
    Snacks - banana,
    January spends - £587.58

    Hi all,

WI with a STS this morning which tbh is better than I deserve. The dreaded munchies got me again on Friday. Although I seem to have stopped TOTM (finally) I still get a day every now and again where I can't fill my face fast enough, like the day before TOTM arrived used to be. So annoying.

Today I've made soup from the leftover roast veggies we had yesterday - BNS, red onion, carrot and a little bit of cabbage (not Charlie Bucket proportions). It was nice - needs more pep for the next serving, so will add some cumin before I freeze them.

    Food today:
B - maple porridge sachet from Em & Ess - HEB
    L - hm soup, WM pitta, 3 satsumas, banana - S, Free, 6
D - SW beef and mushroom stroganoff - free
    HEA - milk
    Syns - 6

@joedenise I ventured over to the island on Saturday with DSis, DD and Mum. We went to B&M. I'm so not a shopper but somehow still managed to spend £25! Was a very sunny day! Glad you had a good weekend away x

@Coxy11  - No idea how you could spend £25 in B&M!  I doubt I ever spend £5 in there and that's usually when I need to buy some toothpaste and brushes!

Pleased you managed a STS @Coxy11.You must have done a lot right. 👍
I don't bother with butter or spread on toast @milann. I think once you put eggs or beans on top you can barely tell the difference. I keep a loaf of Aldi Everyday Essentials wholemeal in the freezer as that's 2 slices for a HEB. We do have other things like rolls and Lidl sandwich thins. Glad you found a new group, it can make all the difference.😊

I find a meal plan and a shopping list to go with it saves time and helps me stay on plan @Pennypincin. I use a syn bank instead of 15 a day. I try to eat very low syn most days then I've got spare for eating out.

My DH always helps to change the bedding too @joedenise

Yesterday, I did Bolognese in the SC. I portioned it up for the freezer and it made 4 meals (8 portions) and a small one for me to have on a JP later in the week.

    Today's plan -
B- HEB toast, HEA milk for drinks, eggs, ham (P), baked beans (F)
    L- usual Monday LOs (P, S, F)
D- salmon (P), hassleback potatoes (F), green stuff, mushrooms and tomatoes (S)
    Syns - 0

Afternoon all, shopping done this morning and then out again this afternoon as needed to buy a new Windows laptop as needed for one particular thing I do every week which won't work on my MacBook or iPad - such a pain.

I don't have butter or spread on toast although I do have a scrape on a sandwich although depending on what filling I'm having I might use a bit of LTL mayo.

We sat in the garden at lunchtime to eat our sandwich and have a cup of coffee it was so nice to actually be out in the sunshine.

    Today's plan:

    B - breakfast hash
L - gammon and mustard sandwich
D - LO chicken, gammon, chips and beans

    HEA - milk
    HEB - bread
Syns - LF spread 2; mustard 1; alcohol free wine 3 (it's very sweet though!)

Hope you've all had a good day.

It's been glorious here today too @joedenise. I got out for a walk and coffee with friends this morning. 😎

Shame about needing a new laptop. More expense. ☹️

We're having LO chicken tonight too. Snap! 😁

    Today's plan -
B- HEB toast, HEA milk for drinks, fry up (P, F)
    L- more LOs (P, S, F)
D- chicken (P), SW chips (F), stir fry veg (S)
    Syns - 0
