I can't believe the syns in that scone @Suffolksue. I'd certainly steer clear of that in the future. I can certainly think of better things to use my syns for. That's almost a bottle of prosecco!🤣
Hope you got a rest this weekend @TakeItEazy. School trips are exhausting! That emergency pathway doesn't sound right at all, it's 2 weeks around here.🤔
Sorry if you were feeling nagged @Pennypincin. Like @bubbs said, we wouldn't want you to waste any syns. 😁
It's absolutely glorious here too. I wonder if @joedenise will extend her weekend break as this weather is due to continue for most of the week.👍🏼😎
Yesterday was a really good day and more than offset the pie that I had on Friday. DD2 didn't stay for lunch so I had a prawn salad. In the evening I was out dancing and had salad again (ham this time) but both had new potatoes so were quite substantial. As I was driving, I had no wine syns so only syns yesterday were 2 or 3 for LTL mayo.
Today's plan-
B- HEB porridge, HEA milk, berries (S), banana (F)
L- breakfast hash (P,S,F)
D- roast chicken (P), SW roast potatoes (f), about 6 or 7 veg! (S)
Syns- HM gravy 4, weekend wine😋0 -
I’m still in shock Maman !
came home and looked on the website and under M&S cheese scone it’s the first one ,just hoping it includes the butter ,but I doubt it 🤣🤣

Afternoon all, what beautiful if cold weather it's been and forecast to stay that way all week. We didn't extend our stay as only took food and clothes for a weekend but have to say we really enjoyed it. We found a brilliant fish restaurant in Folkestone on Friday which we've never noticed before when we've been there. I had lemon sole, jacket potato and salad. The jacket had a small amount of butter on it so a few syns there. There were additional syns in the wine as we shared a bottle! Of course DH then opened a bottle in the evening so we ended up with a whole bottle of wine each! Really going to need to keep the syns down the rest of the week.
Saturday syns were low but would have been lower if they hadn't added some mayo to the salad I bought - I'm assuming it was full fat but only about a Tbs so counting 5 syns, had a chicken fillet with it but the coating was probably about 2 or 3 syns so I'm counting 8 for that. I stuck to 0% G&T in the evening to try and keep the syns reasonable.
Bet you're glad to be back home @bubbs and being able to hang you washing out on the line. Saw the bit you posted about the spiced rum and coke but no good to me - I can't even stand the smell of coke and definitely won't drink it!
Wow @Suffolksue the syns in that cheese scone are unbelievable. Just draw the line and keep the syns a bit lower for the rest of the week and hopefully you'll still get STS or a small loss.
So today's plan:
B - fry up
L - toasted cheese sandwich, pickled onions
D - lightly dusted lemon and pepper sole, chips, peas
HEA1 - milk
HEA2 - cheese
HEB - bread
Syns - 2 LF sausages 2; sole fillet ?
Can someone check the syns for me please?

That fish restaurant sounds like a real find @joedenise. Glad you enjoyed your weekend.
I've put the fish through the estimator and guessed the fibre was meant to be sugar. 🤔 It needed a sugar value to work it out. Let me know if it's wrong. On the values I put in, it comes to 8 syns per portion.0 -
Still 8 syns @joedenise. ☹️0

I think your DH is jumping the gun a bit @bubbs. It may have been lovely and sunny in the daytime but it's been freezing in the morning and last night when I drove back from dancing it was 0.5 degrees!
Perhaps he should do the kitchen instead and you could have a fan oven! Shame about the soggy Yorkshire! ☹️0 -
Oh yes Maman, freezing here when i went outside at 6.30 ish, was as white as white here again this morning and forecast to be in the morning.
He was only commenting as he don't usually do it, i do! 😂 We also have a bedspread over the quilt , in the winter it's cold in our bedroom in the winter, i think it's because we are next to the field 🤔 and i tuck it in at the bottom , otherwise it's a tripping hazard, i said come on tuck it in 😂 he goes tuck it in? I said yes it's always tucked in! Shows how much he takes notice 🙄😂Sealed pot challenge number 003 £350 for 2015, 2016 £400 Actual£345, £400 for 2017 Actual £500:T:T £770 for 2018 £1295 for 2019:j:j spc number 22 £1,457Stopped Smoking 22/01/15:D:D::dance::dance:- 5 st 1 1/2lb :dance:0
