Morning all, bit grey this morning but not too cold and certainly no rain and none forecast for a change!  The motorhome is more or less packed ready for the off in the morning - just a couple of things to put in that can't go in until the morning as they're needed today/this evening/tomorrow morning first thing.

Took my friend to the hospital this morning for a 9am appointment and to get there by public transport she'd have needed to catch the 5.15am bus - absolutely ridiculous - nearly 4 hours and she'd have been quite early but the next bus isn't until 7.15 so wouldn't have made it by 9!

The course last night wasn't too bad but not much I didn't already know.  It's like school though as have to sign in and out and he's given us homework!  Not much just to do a food diary for 2 or 3 days but only for our own use to compare it with the same later in the course - now that won't really show much difference at all having been doing SW for so long.

    Today's plan:

    B - minced beef hash
    L - prawn mayo sandwich
    D - chilli, rice

    HEA - milk
    HEB - bread
    Syns - LTL mayo 1; couple of 0% G&Ts 0.5

    Have a good day everyone.

Good to hear that the course wasn't a waste of time @joedenise. Doing a food diary is second nature for you so you'll have no problem doing your homework! 🤣

The weather is glorious here and is set to stay the same over the weekend.👍🏼

That sounds like a lovely day out @Coxy11. Strange though that no salads were available in Waitrose.🤔 It's a good habit to take a snack with you for your train journey. I'm sure lots of your old habits will return when you start your new job.

Good news and bad news from group this morning. The bad was that I gained 1.5lbs but the good is that I'm still in target range.😁 I'm really pleased about that as now I can relax a bit over the next few weeks. Also heard that my consultant is leaving . She's carrying on with SW but at a different venue which is less convenient for me. It's geographically fine but the timing wouldn't really work for me. I'll probably carry on going to the usual venue for the time being anyway as Thursday mornings suits me OK.

I've got broccoli and cauliflower that I want to use up so, in the light of this mornings WI, will make a cauliflower/broccoli cheese. I probably have more or less enough HEAs to cover it but if I go over then I can afford to.

    Today's plan-
B- HEB Weetabix, (some) HEA milk
    L- veggie omelette (P,S), salad (S)
D- gammon (P), SW chips (F), cauli and broccoli cheese(S)
    Syns- cornflour 1, extra cheese/milk?🤔

Denise have a lovely weekend, forecast is great here too.

    Hi everyone.
    Could I rejoin please.
Edit to add, I've been struggling with keeping to the plan and getting back onto the plan.
I did really well up to about a year/18 months ago and lost around 5 stone, then I gradually seemed to loose momentum and willpower and struggle.
I've put about 3 and a half stone back on and really need to shift the weight because of arthritis, not wanting to end up diabetic or with other health problems and to feel/look better in myself.

Morning all, definitely looking a bit brighter this morning than yesterday - we didn't see much sun at all although it did brighten a bit in the afternoon.

I looked at your plate and thought "yuk"!  I can't stand beans and eggs being anywhere near each other you've got your egg on top of the beans - I have to have the sausages or bacon between them as don't like the tomato sauce and egg yolk mixing - am I weird, LOL?  Other than that it looks a nice dinner.

Looking forward to getting away in the van later even if it's only for a couple of nights.  We booked a week's break on one of the club sites for May again with the motorhome. Will involve some eating out but will try and pick sensibly so I don't do too much damage.

Weighed this morning and lost a minute 0.2lb!  Still at least it's in the right direction and less than lb to top end of target.  Probably won't be able to shift that this week with the eating out over the weekend but will be good when I can and careful when I can't!

    Today's plan:

    B - cheese omelette
    L - eating out
D - chicken fajita, WM wrap

    HEA1 - milk
    HEA2 - cheese
    HEB - wrap
Syns - whatever is in lunch, alcohol probably

Have a good day everyone and "see" you probably Sunday afternoon/evening.

    D - ginger and soy salmon, green beans - P, S

    Syns - 12

Have lost 3.5lb this week (if you remember, I had put on 4lb last week after a couple of meals out!). Phew! I suspect it was mostly water weight from salty meals out.
