There's nothing wrong with having a rest @bubbs. You always seem to be on the go. You definitely get your Body Magic in. 👍
Well done on choosing the SW friendly option for your lunch at the restaurant @Bluegreen143. 😊
That doesn't sound like my sort of thing either @joedenise but it's an experience. It got me thinking of all the things I've tried over the years and wouldn't want to repeat like abseiling, potholing, go kart racing, trampolining and the like. 🤣 I'll stick to 💃
Today's plan -
B- HEB porridge, HEA milk, berries (S), banana (F)
L- usual Monday LOs (P, S, F)
D- salmon (P), hassleback potatoes (F), green stuff, roast veg (S)

This year for my birthday my DH took me white water tubing. Let’s just say it was an experience not to be repeated 🤣. Glad I’ve tried it, but the best way I can describe it is that after you inevitably fall off the tube (EVERY time I tried it) it’s rather akin to being repeatedly flushed down a giant toilet, constantly swallowing water while being flung about bashed and bruised on the edges!Part time working mum | Married in 2014 | DS born 2015 & DD born 2018

Bluegreen are you sure he wasn't trying to cash in your life insurance? 😂 sound like torture!
Just seen this on another page, 2 big slices hexb, but the loaf size is 750g and she bought in Sains, i have checked on the app and it's correct

Thank you all for the lovely welcome back .
Sadly I need to lose at least another 2 stone once I get back to October JoeDenise !
That still won’t get me to a normal BMI ,that would involve a further 2 stone , but at nearly 76 I feel that’s too big an ask !
Especially now Im officially 2 in shorter than I’ve always been!
Feeling much more positive at the moment ,so hopefully will keep it up .
Had a mince pie at a meeting this afternoon checked syns when I got home and it was 10 and a half !!
just as well no other syns today ,will ask at the next meeting if someone can put the app on my phone ,I’m sure I managed to last time .0 -
Morning all, loads of rain overnight again and it's now raining really heavily. Hoping it will ease off by the time I need to go out about 9. Have a waxing appointment at 9.30 but also need to do a bit of shopping while I'm in town.
It's good to have a lazy day from time to time @bubbs. You really can't keep going rushing around like a blue a*sed fly - it's not good for you.
Good to know there's another choice of large sliced bread as HEB although I don't go to Sainsbury very often I'll look out for it next time I'm over there - will need to go in a couple of weeks time probably as we like their low sugar, low salt baked beans (well DH does I just tolerate them!).
That doesn't sound like a good time @Bluegreen143 for your birthday. That would be my idea of hell! I'm not overseen on anything to do with water although do sometimes do aqua aerobics when we're away on holiday as long as the water's warm! Did look to do it at our local pool but no way am I going out in the evening to do it - it started at 8pm for an hour and it's on the outskirts of town so would add about an extra hour for travelling.
You'll shift that weight @Suffolksue as long as you stick to the plan - you know it works. Just take it a day/week at a time. It's OK to use your syns for a mince pie as long as you enjoyed it! Well done for not having more syns.
Today's plan:
B - toasted cheese sandwich, pickled onions
L - minced beef hash
D - sweet and sour chicken, brown rice
HEA1 - milk
HEA2 - cheese
HEB - bread
Syns - none planned
Have a good day everyone.0 -
I had a lovely weekend away in York. There was a Viking festival and there were Vikings roaming the streets which was quite amusing….full regalia then they get the mobile phone out 😂 I had some great on plan meals and some that weren’t on plan. I weighed early and had stayed the same which I’m ok with. The weekend away only made me more determined to loose weight though as I really struggled being on my feet…..standing (as we watched various street acts and waited for buses) wasn’t good…..my feet just went numb and were so swollen by the end of the day. I’m seriously debating going back to group. I can’t make my original group where I loved the consultant as the day doesn’t work any more for me. I wasn’t overly impressed with the last group and there are mega roadworks starting nearby next month which will close the roundabout 100 yards away…so that’ll be a no go area 😳 I’ve found one a long walk or short bus ride away on a Thursday morning….which should work. I’m reluctant to pay the £5.60 but I think I need the accountability…plus I’ve missed the app.January spends - £587.580

If you need the accountability @milann then £5.60 is a small price to pay and you'll have the advantage of the app again! That's the one thing I miss about not going to group.
Sounds like you had a great weekend away. I love York but it's a long way for us to go so have actually only been there once but would very much like to go again but DH wasn't that impressed so whether it happens again or not I've no idea!
Think we're probably going away again this weekend in the motorhome - it'll be the first time this year so hoping the weather isn't too bad although we'll be out and about on the buses most of the time!0 -
If it helps you to get to target then I think it's well worth joining a group @milann. When I got to target, the cost was under £5 pw IIRC. I shifted the 3.5 stone I needed in just under a year. If someone had said to me that I could eat healthily, eat as much as I want and lose the weight for £200 I'd have bitten their hand off (all visible fat removed of course 🤣).
It should be simple enough to load the app onto your phone @Suffolksue. I think you just need your email address and maybe your SW number which should be written in the back of your book or possibly a password🤔. I'm sure someone at your group will help you to load it.
I think the app is particularly useful for scanning things in shops (assuming you can get a signal☹) and/or looking things up. I wish you didn't have to scroll down the page for it though. That's the main reason why I choose to go to group every 8 weeks. I find between this thread and that regular check it's enough to stop me straying too far away from target. I don't usually have to pay unless I've been away on holiday.
Thanks for the heads up on the new bread @bubbs. I go to Sainsbury's regularly so I'll give it a try. I keep a loaf of the Aldi Essentials wholemeal in the freezer as a standby but lately we've been eating more Lidl protein thins or these lovely deli rolls.
Sainsbury's Large Oat Topped Wholemeal Deli Rolls x4 | Sainsbury's
They're not cheap but delicious.
Hope you got everything you wanted when you were out @joedenise. As you're a distance from the shops, it makes good mse sense to fit everything into one trip.
I thought of you this morning @bubbs. Apparently, Tom Kerridge is serving pease pudding in his restaurants. I bet he charges a pretty penny for that!😁
Today's plan-
B- HEB toast, HEA milk for drinks, fried eggs (P), mushrooms and tomatoes (S)
L- LOs as yesterday (P,F,S)
D- veggie chilli with brown rice (P,S,F), cottage cheese (P)
