Well done TIE 👏👏
Denise, no it was free food festival, but only myself and 1 other made something, apparently her other groups, some had no entries and some had 1.

🤣 I've been 😇. Just the usual half Crunchie and weekend wine despite being sorely tried by the appalling football.☹️
Well done on your losses @bubbs and @TakeItEazy. 👏👏👏 Full marks to your DH for saying you look scrawny @TakeItEazy. What a romantic! 🤣
I wore clean jeans today and OMG, I think I must be well over target. I've got one meal out this week but need to be really on plan other days.
Well done for getting your head back in gear @Bluegreen143. Hopefully, the gain will go as quickly as it came. Stick with the plan, you know it works.
I'm like you @bubbs and @joedenise.
I never peel mushrooms and just flick off any visible compost.
Today's plan -
B- HEB toast, eggs, bacon (P), mushrooms and tomatoes (S), HEA milk for drinks
L- lentil and veg soup (P, S)
D- keema curry and rice (P, F, S)
Syns - half Crunchie 3, weekend wine 😊0 -
I have never peeled a mushroom, it didn’t occur to me you could!Today was an awkward day to restart, as we had friends over for a barbecue, but I’m so glad I did. I’m over syns but because I was conscious and counting, I know I am way under what I might have been.B - fat free yoghurt, maple syrup, strawberries/grapes/banana(1 syn - maple syrup)L - cream of broccoli soup with some cooked pasta and cheddar added(Milk & cheese from healthy extra allowance)D - chicken kebabs & drumsticks on the barbecue with corn on the cob, salad, free Asian slaw and a wholemeal pitta(4 - estimate for some olive oil, barbecue sauce and smidge of honey in the marinade. Pitta from healthy extra allowance)Fry’s orange cream - 10.5 syn 🙈 - I had two left from buying a 3 pack at Poundland yesterday so my friend and I enjoyed one each for pudding and now they are gone from my house!Tropical fruits cider can - 8.5 syn24 syns, so 9 over, but I actually think that’s really good for a day we had friends over for a barbecue. My salad & chicken plate was lovely and I didn’t miss that I skipped the burgers and mayo-filled coleslaw at all.

I’d also like to rejoin you again ,
I rejoined SW a fortnight ago and have lost 6 lbs (31/2 &21/2 )
unfortunately still about 8 lbs over what I was in October before life got in the way .
feeling much more positive again now ,so hopefully will stick at it again .2 -
Morning all, looking to be a much brighter day today and no rain forecast until tonight. No washing to do though as done it all a couple of days ago - all of which dried on the line even though we had a couple of showers.
Welcome back @Suffolksue. You've had a couple of great losses for your first two weeks and not too much more to lose to get back to where you were last October. How much more do you want to lose or is that your target weight?
I couldn't believe the score @maman when I saw it and knew you'd be there. Have to say though Brighton have been playing really well as they keep telling us on the local news!
Well done for counting syns @Bluegreen143 when you had friends for a BBQ. As you say it would probably have been far more if you hadn't decided to restart SW. Sounds as though you have the right mindset again to carry on.
It's DD2s birthday today so we're off to London to see her and we're going to the electronic fairground. DD2 is doing us a sandwich for lunch but no doubt it will be crusty bread from her local bakers! Cake as well I expect. Will make sure the rest of the meals are on plan and then keep low syn during the week to hopefully get a small loss or at least STS.
We didn't have the stew last night as I cooked the gammon joint and we had some of that with chips and beans. It was a very large piece and took 3 hours to cook. I now have the job of bagging it all up and vac packing it - so that will probably take a good chunk of the morning between breakfast and going out!
So today's plan:
B - fry up
L - ???
D - beef and horseradish stew, mash
HEA - milk
HEB - ???
Syns - sausages 2; no idea what else!
Have a good day everyone.
PS. Forgot to say I got a text message to tell me I've been booked onto a pre-diabetes course starting on Wednesday evening at 5.15pm and it's on the Island. Glad about that as didn't want to go off Island for it.0 -
That's an excellent loss since you rejoined SW. Welcome back @Suffolksue.
Hope you have a good time at the electronic fairground @joedenise. I've never even heard of one so it'll be interesting to know what you make of it. It has to be your DD's choice on her birthday so you'll just have to along with the sandwiches and cake lunch and then play catch up all week.
You've proved that a barbecue can be a good SW choice @Bluegreen especially when you're hosting it yourself. Respect to sticking to just the one can of cider!
It's just started raining here after a dry morning. We have half price electricity on Sundays so, while you won't get rich on the savings, I try to plan my usage. Two loads of washing went on the line and I've just rescued them from the rain. They're almost dry so I'll finish them off indoors.
My lunch was lush. When DH was in hospital last month I treated myself to a pack of chilled prawns as he's not a fan. They're so much bigger and juicier than the frozen ones. The habit has stuck but this week I decided I'd have tuna instead. That was until I saw a YS pack which were 50% off. No contest!
Today's plan-
B- HEB toast, ham, scrambled eggs (P), tomatoes (S), HEA milk for drinks
L- JP (F), prawns (P), salad (S)
D- Beef in 'red wine' (P,S), SW roast potatoes (F), loads of veg (S)
Syns- LTL mayo 1, cornflour 1, weekend wine0 -
Afternoon all 😁
Welcome back Suffolksue and well done on your loss 👏👏
Really windy here today, been home 😁😁
Meat in for roast, tonnes of veg, yorkies 2 syns and Gravy 4 syns.
I had a pitta with egg mayo, 1 syn and tomato and 2 satsumas for lunch.
I need to give my head a wobble!!
Last night i could not stop eating, i had a piece of Colin, then i had another, then i had crisps, then we had a power cut (the whole area) this saved me, i went bed 🤣🤣Sealed pot challenge number 003 £350 for 2015, 2016 £400 Actual£345, £400 for 2017 Actual £500:T:T £770 for 2018 £1295 for 2019:j:j spc number 22 £1,457Stopped Smoking 22/01/15:D:D::dance::dance:- 5 st 1 1/2lb :dance::dance:0 -
Back from our afternoon out and just finished dinner and sitting down with a nice G&T - it's been a long day!
It wasn't actually an electronic funfair as I thought. It was more the type of games which involved throwing balls and shooting! Not my sort and thing at all but DD2, her partner and our DGD seemed to enjoy it more that DH and I. There was a sort of netball/basketball type game but shooting the ball from a distance - not easy and don't think I scored at all on that one!
There was a game shooting at targets which I did reasonably well on, another that involved sort of big water pistols to get a clown head up a pole - not good at that either.
There was a horse racing thing where you moved the horses by rolling balls up a slope and into holes. The last one we did was wack a mole - I did pretty well on that!
Our DGD was the winner overall and I came last but it's what I expected as I'm not very good at shooting, throwing balls and not particularly good eye/hand co-ordination.0 -
Sounds like an unusual day out @Joedenise!Was out for lunch yesterday with my mum, sister and BIL - I’d gone pram shopping with them as my sister is due with my nephew in the early summer 😍 so my mum got us lunch at quite a fancy restaurant while we were out.B - loaded scrambled eggs with feta, bacon, chives and with tomato/coriander on the side(No syns / HEA - feta)L - lunch out - I didn’t get a starter but shared some of my mum & sister’s antipasti platters as they were huge, then I went for cod with peas/ham/mushrooms as the healthiest thing on the menu, then I had some of my sister’s dark chocolate mousse thing with ice cream as she couldn’t finish it.
No idea on syns but tbh I feel happy I made healthy choices and it was tasty and fairly healthy.D - goats cheese & breadcrumb pasta with asparagus and salad(5 - goats’ cheese, 4 - olive oil / HEB - wholemeal breadcrumbs)Part time working mum | Married in 2014 | DS born 2015 & DD born 2018

Morning all, just back from DH's eye appointment at Maidstone Hospital. I have to drive back as the drops they use blur his sight. He had wanted to go to a nice fish restaurant today but the weather isn't very nice and we'd need to go to another town for a walk around first as it would be too early for lunch. So we'll do that another day - probably next week now as have various things in the diary this week already!
It was definitely a very unusual day out and certainly not one we'll be doing again. It's also quite expensive as we need to drive to DD2s then travel by train and DLR which of course we have to pay for as not living in London. We only get free buses but fortunately I took our bus passes with us as we got a train to different station on the way home and then got a bus from there.
Love the sound of your loaded scrambled eggs @Bluegreen143. Bet they were very filling too.
Today's plan:
B - Weetabix, little milk
L - cheese omelette
D - gammon, cauliflower cheese (will do some chips for DH but I won't have any as don't think it's necessary)
HEA1 - milk
HEA2 - cheese
Syns - cheese sauce mix 4
Have a good day everyone.0
