    Back on plan today:

    B - banana milkshake (HEA / 5 - blended banana & 1tsp cocoa powder)

    L - beans & cheese on toast with carrot sticks (HEB / 2 - 1 tsp butter)

    S - mango

D - pasta with HM pesto, air fryer herby chicken, tomatoes/peas/courgette (4 - HM pesto)

    11 syns altogether.

I used to have milkshakes for breakfast all the time but slightly horrific how many syns would have been in them as I used to add peanut butter, oats and have about double the amount. The smaller one I had today was lovely and worth the 5 syns!

    Hi all,

Stuck to plan in the hotel, and avoided an alcoholic drink too. Was disappointed that PI have changed their mattresses, no where near as comfortable.
The small bit of Scotland I saw was beautiful, had a lovely 4 mile walk, but bought home 3 blisters as souvenirs

Outskirts of Edinburgh, my work will take me up there a bit more this year, will stay closer to Edinburgh next time and do some sightseeing. Will also be going to the Keith area too - will wait for some warmer weather first

    Good morning all,

DD and I enjoyed the meatballs last night but they were a bit stinky! Worth the syns though. 11 total for the day.

We are going up to the community kitchen garden this morning for the first time. Looking forward to some fresh air. We waited in for the drain company again yesterday and again they failed to show. Now booked for Saturday morning.

Shame about the little gain @milann - same as me last week. Why does it go on so easily but doesn’t shift so easily. One of life’s many mysteries ☹️

    Food today:
    B - protein bagel, poached egg, spinach - HEB, P, S
    L - JP, tuna, sweetcorn, mayo, pickles - 1, P, free, 1
D - mushroom risotto, Parmesan - free, HEA
    HEA - milk
Syns - skinny bar 4 plus 1 so 5 total

Morning all, another bright but chilly day and forecast to get even colder over the weekend and into next week - I hate the cold weather!  Think I could do with another warm holiday but that isn't going to happen until next winter!

Had a good night's sleep last night and for the first time DH did as well with neither of us waking up during the night.  Did wake up a bit earlier than usual at 6.30am so think that shows it was a better night.  Had to go for a blood test this morning and as usual problems with finding a vein!  Couldn't get any blood at all from my left arm (she tried 2 different veins) and then changed to the right arm and she managed to get some.  Thought I might end up at the hospital like I usually do!

    Today's plan:

    B - mushroom omelette
L - gammon sandwich, coleslaw (still using up the 8p cabbage from pre Christmas!)
D - creamy chicken and mushroom pasta

    HEA1 - milk
    HEA2 - Primula Light
    HEB - bread
Syns - LF spread 3; LTL mayo 1; glass of wine 6 (LO from last night!  Unheard of in this house usually!)

    Have a good day everyone.
