    Morning all,

Enjoy your trips to Lanzarote, not jealous much!

Made group this morning amd was very happy with a STS. I think if I ever reach target, I will be the perfect SW member as I seem to maintain no problem 🤣 however, considering I was out most days this week I am very pleased indeed.

Probably a lazy day at home catching up with DS1and plotting events for the next week or so.  I had a banana and coffee in group but I’m about to have a bacon roll with mushrooms and tomatoes, a late lunch will probably be baked potato with cheese and coleslaw (counting 2 syns for salad cream) and dinner is meatballs with spaghetti and Parmesan, DS’s request 😁

    Have a good day everyone.

Well done on your STS @Jellybaby. That's some achievement at this time of the year. 👏👏👏

It would seem that meatballs are universally popular. 😋

I don't use Primula that often and try to buy a few when they're on offer somewhere as they have a long date. I mix it with Parmesan so it lasts for a while. I'll probably notice the lack of the Light version when I need it next.

Which soft cheese do you use @bubbs? Is it the Seriously Strong? 🤔

Plenty of low fat sausages in Sainsburys this morning @maddiemay so I'm all set up to make my pigs in blankets.

Hope you have some luck in the craft fayre today @Coxy11 and maybe find some more mulled wine. 😋

Two more meals out @joedenise. One is tonight and one on Wednesday. Tonight is a catered dance and it's usually something reasonably healthy but I'll have the lack of wine syns to offset any indulgence. 😁

Porridge and LOs for breakfast and lunch today and dinner tbc.

I used some of the Seriously Strong soft cheese recently and really is seriously strong!  Even DH commented about how strong it is.  No idea of syns for it though so grateful if someone can let me know for future use!

Enjoy your meals out this week @maman.  Assume you're driving if no wine syns involved tonight!

Well done @Jellybaby STS is brilliant especially with eating out quite a bit this week.

    Enjoy the craft fair @Coxy11.

Joedenise, are you flying from Gatwick to Lanzarote? We are with Tui on Monday afternoon. Just a sneaky self catered trip, back before xmas.
We're probably on the same flight then as we go withTUI from Gatwick on Monday afternoon about 4pm!  We're going for 2 weeks so will be out there for Christmas but back for New Year.

What area are you staying?  We're going to Costa Teguise.

Same flight, we like Puerto del Carmen, will be our 8th visit. We take the bus up to costa Teguise for lunch,  esp. if its a dull day.

Morning all, definitely seems to be a bit cooler this morning but at least it's dry.  Need to check the forecast to see if it's worth hanging the washing out once I've done it (after our showers so I can get the towels in!).  Need to cut DH's hair before his shower so he can wash all the little bits off which make him itchy.

We found Puerto del Carmen a bit too busy for us and hilly.  It's why we like Costa Teguise because it's fairly flat which makes walking around easier for us!

Thanks @bubbs, it was the lighter one we had - I thought it was HEA (I counted it as my 2nd HEA anyway!); used virtually the whole tub as DH had pinched some for some crackers.  Must say it's much cheesier than Primula!

Did you manage to get some Christmas bits at the craft fayre @Coxy11?  and mulled wine?

    Today's plan:

    B - sausage sandwich - HEB; 3.5
    L - burger, chips, pickles - S; F; 0.5
D - beef stew, green veg, mash - P; S; F (need the extra veg as the stew portion doesn't look big enough!)

    HEA - milk
    HEB - bread
    Syns - sausages 2; LF spread 1.5; burger 0.5

    Have a good day everyone.

    Morning all,

You don’t normally gain @bubbs it will be off next week!

I need a canoe! Didn’t sleep much as the wind and rain was so heavy so I’m a bit grumpy this morning (usual service then 🤣).

I’m off to take aunt shopping then back home for an afternoon of reading my book.  I’ve had fruit and yoghurt for breakfast, will probably have an Americano when I’m out, there’s pea and ham soup for lunch and chicken tray bake for dinner.

    Stay dry everyone!

    Hi all,

The Christmas market was heaving. Really good to see folks out and about and a large sponsored tree at the centre. Nothing like that in our local town - wonder why?!

I stayed away from the mulled wine/cider and just had a tea in an inside venue that had the craft market. I bought some skincare and earrings for me(!) nothing for anyone else though lol. Didn’t get to bed until 1:30am so will be flagging today.

Have just got back from food shopping. Freezer is stuffed full ready for Christmas - just need veggies now.

Food today is naughty already. Had an apple
before I went out and have just eaten a frangipani mince pie! Ooops.

Dinner is HM chicken tenders - will air fry them and have with salad - that will use HEB and HEA as will use some Parmesan in the coating.

Well done on your STS @Jellybaby x
Have a good week @bubbs - you’ll have more time to concentrate on you now the orders are done x
    Happy holidays @joedenise x.

Pleased to hear you had a gain in grace week @bubbs even if it was more than you wanted. 🤞you only lose a little next time.

Sorry to hear the weather is so horrible up with you @Jellybaby. It's been dry and bright but colder here and like @joedenise I got a line of washing out. It was almost dry and now it'll finish off indoors as the heating's on.

Glad to hear you treated yourself to syn free gifts from the Christmas market @Coxy11, shame about the mince pie. 🤣

It was a salad supper last night. I had some syns in dressings, a small slice of quiche and a splash of cream on fruit salad. All within syns though as I was driving.

Today I've had a fry up for breakfast and prawns on a JP with salad for lunch. We're having a lamb roast for dinner which will be fattier than other meats but delicious. I'll make up for it with a couple of low syn/ free days before eating out again on Wednesday.

Have a great time in Lanzarote @joedenise. I looked at the forecast and Christmas week looks great, sunny and warm. Hope you enjoy wearing your new clothes and that they still fit at the end of your break. 😁🤗
