Stuck at the airport with an hour delay to the flight!  Got a message just as we pulled up in the car park.  Glad we decided to book the lounge as it’s more comfortable than the seats in the main airport.  Just having a G&T.

Hope you get off soon @joedenise but I'm sure you'll enjoy the G&T while you wait! 🍹

Dull but mild here and nothing more exciting than a visit to the dentist. 🤣

I've got the beef curry in the SC, prepped it yesterday, so an easy dinner. 👍

Interesting WhatsApp message from my walking group, one of the women posted that she'd be there if her SW Christmas party didn't go on too late. I don't know her well and never noticed her lose any weight but have noticed she always has cake when we stop for coffee. 🤔😁

    Today's plan -
    B- fry up (P, F)
    L- LOs with pickles (P, F, S)
    D- beef curry and rice (P, F, S)
    Syns - 0

    Hi all,

Annoying about the delay to the flight @joedenise but glad you are somewhere comfortable!

That made me chuckle about your walking group friend - sounds like my Mum - on WW since I was born and still buys chocolate bars and meets friends for coffee and cake a few times a week! But then again she eats very little at home which is a worry as she's 83.

I weighed in this morning and have lost 1.5lbs since last WI at the start of November. Not complaining as I haven't exactly had my eye on the ball. I'm still miles outside of target range and will be addressing that in the new year as just too many invites upcoming.

I had a toasted bagel with scraping of soft light cheese this morning along with 2 satsuma. Lunch was an apple and a skinny bar and tonight we are at our local pub who have just started doing pie and a pint night. The regular menu is also available so I'm hoping for something less naughty.

Well done on your loss @Coxy11. 👏👏👏
We'll take anything at this time of the year.

I think you're right about the social side of SW @bubbs. There must be people all over the country who just go and pay up every week but don't follow the plan. We definitely had some in one of the groups I went to.

It's certainly not good if your mum just eats cakes and chocolate and no proper food at home @Coxy11. One of the problems is that being overweight/not eating healthily can lead to other health issues like poor mobility.

Foul wet day today, it may just be me being non-motivated, but I am so carb hungry this week again😒. Not given up completely,  not stressing about it while trying to get BP down (going in the right direction) will try to find more resolve after Christmas which is going to be quiet with just 1 family lunch and a carvery just after new year.
I hope that @joedenise was not held up for too long.
@Coxy11 good news on the loss.

    Morning all,

Well done on the loss @Coxy11🎉 it may be an age thing but my parents are exactly the same with cakes and treats. Eat well but like birds and always have plenty room for dessert!

Yes, there is a wee group of members in my class that use the group as a coffee and catch up time.

Hope you’re relaxing and the BP is coming down @maddiemay

I’m off out for dinner tonight 🙈 looking forward to it. I’ve just had coffee and a banana and once DS1 makes an appearance will have bacon medallions, tomatoes and mushrooms. If I’m hungry later I can have some pea and ham soup.

When he looked at his emails, he said well the gas has now been scheduled for 23rd Jan! He put an order in, he goes hang on they were here at 7 filling up, looked at the camera and they were, never heard a bloody thing 🤣🤣🤣🤣We popped out this morning, yesterday and today we were going unit to sort it out, still not done it!
He said we will get up early tomorrow and go as we have got to do it.

Farmfoods has mature cheese for 99p and cranberry sauce for 49p.

I wanted to try this and was ok, Experiment 😁

    Turkey and cranberry sausage rolls.

Fibre  for sw wrap and 2 sv for tbsp cranberry sauce, very nice too.

I mixed loads of herbs in the 2%Turkey mince and placed the cranberry spread out over the top, put in air fryer

    Jelly enjoy your meal 😁

Maddie glad your BP is going in the right direction 😁
