@bubbs there wasn't anything in particular I just wondered if anything else was included.

It will be the same for me @maman most days just a HEA and HEB with the occasional 2nd HEA (for cheese) or 2nd HEB (for avocado).

Thank you for all the information @bubbs, not looking forward to learning lots of new stuff. I already included some olive oil and occasionally nuts all weighed/measured for Syns as I have dry skin.

I went for Endoscopy on Sunday and my BP went through the roof and then some.  They wouldn't discharge me for ages, I spent 2 hours in recovery area, testing every few minutes, being given double dose of medication I was allowed home. Seen GP daily meds, monitor being delivered tomorrow and instructions to stay as stress free as possible whlle waiting for tests.  All out of the blue always had good BP, normal for age etc.  Any more than 6lbs lost and I would not be accepted by SW.

You don't have to learn alot of new stuff, just do what you are doing now. Why would you not be accepted by SW?

Rats - just lost my post!
It's al old book from when I joined, but my recollection is that it would take me below recommended BMI. Problem is  not so much my weight but that it is not well distributed LOL  Anyway still some to lose so plod on for now, and get properly organised with meal plan and stocking up after Christmas.

I hope that everyone and their property is safe after the storm, we missed the worst and it died down early evening.
I will stop waffling, time to go to bed.

    Hi all,

Sorry for my absence. Long fundraiser walk on Sunday in the drizzle then made a fab Beef stroganoff for dinner. Yesterday was food shop day and I went to T’s as had some vouchers and wanted to get some HP lamb. Success!!

I worked today and will be in again tomorrow. Only ate some nuts at work then had an apple and a skinny bar once home. We had free tickets to the panto in Canterbury this evening so ate beforehand at Bill’s where I had the Hippy Bowl - very tasty.

Thank you to @bubbs for the healthy fats list. Think I will steer clear of all but olive oil, and that will be very occasional.

    Take care @maddiemay x.

Morning all, forecast is for a dry day so machine load of washing on and will get out on the line as soon as it's finished as will need to get it in around 12ish as we're off to our village's Over 60s Christmas lunch.

Thanks for the full list @bubbs.  There's a couple of other things I'll use occasionally from it like the tahini as I make real hummus from time to time as DH and I don't like the SW version of it - it really needs the tahini.  Also occasionally have olives but usually when I'm on holiday so that will be useful as well.

@maddiemay - look after yourself and try not to stress whilst waiting for your results.  The worst part is over having had it done.  Hope your BP calms down too - assume that's a 24 hour BP machine being delivered, those things pump up when you least expect it so try to rest as much as possible and sit and breathe deeply every time it starts pumping if you aren't already sitting or laying down.

Well done on the charity walk @Coxy11 in that horrible drizzle on Sunday.  Love a stroganoff.  Did you do it in the SC while you were out walking?  Don't do a beef one very often but mushroom stroganoff is fairly regularly on the menu plan especially if I can pick up one of the big boxes yellow stickered!  It's worth changing the plan to do that, just need to make sure I've got some Primula in the fridge as well for the sauce.

Talking of Primula has anyone seen the Primula Light recently?  I seem to have been having to buy the normal one the last few times I've needed it and of course  can't have the whole tube between us!

Will be off plan for lunch so will have an on plan breakfast of a bacon & mushroom sandwich for 1.5 syns.  Probably won't need a dinner tonight but will find something to have with chips and beans if I do!

    Have a good day everyone.

Hi everyone, life is sooo getting in the way of me posting this week !

Look after yourself @maddiemay try and relax as much as possible. I’ve been at the docs this week too and thinking it would be a simple ultrasound referral for ‘women’s things’ oh no, I’m apparently on a pathway of checks for women over 60 🙈 although I suppose a good thing, nothing is ever easy is it 🤣

Anyway, SW is taking a real bashing this week. Apart from today I’ve been or will be going out every day this week. I’m making today a good day - fruit and yoghurt for breakfast, cowboy beans and a toasted soft pitta for lunch and dinner is fish and chips with peas, roasted tomatoes and sweetcorn.

Hope you enjoyed your Christmas lunch @joedenise
