Thanks @bubs.  Don't blame you not going between Christmas and New Year.  You just need to make sure you're within target range WI before Christmas (or have you already booked holiday?).

Morning all, looking a bit grey this morning although not surprising as the forecast is for drizzle and light rain for most of the day.

No plans to go out today or doing much at all other than the usual cooking and cleaning.  DH will cook breakfast but I'll do the rest.

    Today's plan:

    B - fry up with sausages - P; S; F; 2
    L - burger, onions, gherkins in WM roll - HEB; S; 0.5
    D - cheese stuffed chicken breast wrapped in Serrano ham, roast potatoes, veg - HEA2; P; S; F; 4?

    HEA1 - milk
    HEA2 - soft cheese
    HEB - WM roll
Syns - sausages 2; burger 0.5; serrano ham 4 (think it's 1 syn a slice, can someone confirm please?

    Have a good day everyone.

    Morning all,

@joedenise yes, 1 syn per slice.  Hope you get your orders done quickly @bubbs and yeah, I could’ve eaten another dinner (not that one though!). Woke up starving this morning!

It’s grey and drizzly here but I’ll need to pop out shortly to take my aunt to pick up a few bits to finish off Christmas gifts. Mother is wittering on about forgetting to buy a few boxes of M&S shortbread so will probably tag along. And breathe ….. 🤣

    Food today:
B - soft pitta HEXB, bacon medallions, mushrooms, tomatoes, strawberries and yoghurt 1.5
L - baked potato with cheese HEA2 and homemade coleslaw, estimating 4 syns
D - meatballs in tomato sauce with spaghetti and Parmesan

I noticed yesterday my consultant has started referring to syns as swips 😂

Another dull morning, but the rain has not arrived yet today.  I have eaten my last meal until I get home from the hospital late afternoon - scrambled eggs and white toast.
Well done with the losses @joedenise and @bubbs percy pigs at the ready. @jellybaby I hope that your cough has eased in the last few days and well done with a STS.

I weighed on Thursday and put 1 lb on but I’m pleased with that. Went on a Christmas dinner with a singing group and am pleased to say I had more than 2 sprouts….i also had a starter and desert, lots of turkey with all the trimmings…I left my roast potatoes but managed to eat everything else. I didnt  need anything else for the rest of the day. There was a party of 25 of us and it all felt very relaxed. We all bought a £5 present and played ‘Bad Santa’ which was good fun. Folk take turns to get and open pressie but you’re free to swap with any present that’s been opened previously if ‘bad Santa’ has given what you really want to somebody else. There was a Percy Pig mug changing hands a lot causing much hilarity. So all in all I was happy with 1lb.
We’ve finished putting the decorations inside up today. We usually put a few in the back garden on the fences but it’s been so wet we haven’t had chance to put them up yet. Still plenty of time before Christmas though.
Well done on the losses especially at this time of year 👍

Morning all, up really early this morning!  DH woke up with toothache this morning about 5 o'clock so got up and I then couldn't get back to sleep so ended up getting up about 20 minutes later!  Think an early night will be in order tonight!

I've made a start on making some faggots for dinner tonight but can't actually make them yet as my pork mince still hasn't defrosted properly - I got it out the freezer yesterday morning and put in the fridge!  Looks like my fridge might be a bit colder than it ought to be!

@milann - that bad Santa sounded fun.  What did you end up with - was it the mug?  We did something similar at SW group years ago, I ended up with a Christmas mug!  Still got it after all these years - think it must have been at least 7 or 8 years ago!  Well done on just lb gain, not bad after eating Christmas dinner (well done on leaving the roasties!)

    Today's plan:

B - Weetabix, milk - part HEA; HEB
    L - egg, chips, mushrooms - P; S; F
    D - faggots, mash, veg - P; S; F; 1.5

    HEA - milk
    HEB - Weetabix
    Syns - faggots 1.5

    Have a good day everyone.

Sorry that I've been AWOL but yesterday I had a problem posting. Whenever I tried to go to a new paragraph/sentence it lost what I'd typed and I got fed up with it. Probably something that I did??

I agree with @milann that any losses at this time of the year are amazing but a STS or a tiny gain when you know you've not been 100% on plan is commendable too. 👍🏼 I think this lead up to Christmas with meals out and party nibbles can be harder than Christmas itself. HM roast dinner or cold meat with bubble & squeak are easy to fit into the plan.

I'm not sure I'll get used to swips, sounds really daft to me.🤔

I had a few syns on Saturday evening but nothing excessive. I had a tiny piece of quiche and 3 crackers with some  delicious English cheeses which I'd be surprised if they were HEAs. Other than that, just a bit of oil/dressing on some salads and as I wasn't driving then I had loads of syns to spare.

    Today's plan-
B- HEB porridge, HEA milk, grapes and banana (F)
L- LO chicken casserole and veg (P,S,F)
    D- gammon (P), SW chips (F), salad (S)
    Syns- LTL mayo 1
