That sounds like a very productive day yesterday @Coxy11.👍🏼 Plenty of Body Magic alongside your on plan day.

Hope you are lucky with the fish restaurant when you go out @joedenise . IIRC it was closed the last time you tried to eat there.

Hope you and @bubbs managed to get to WI this morning @Jellybaby and got what you hoped for.🤞🏼

Yes, I was able to find a SW friendly meal again last night so this week is turning out much better than I could have imagined. The food was delicious and we had an excellent evening with DD2.😋

I had a crab, prawn and avocado starter which I'm counting, in advance, as my first of the new HEXs.😁 I don't know whether it will be a HEXA or 'Healthy Fats' will be something completely new to the plan.🤔 For my main I had cod with a herb crumb which came with new potatoes and some veg. It was listed as gluten free so it was either just a dusting of herbs or possibly a few gluten free bread crumbs mixed in but they weren't obvious.

Back on plan this morning but I'm going to an afternoon tea dance later. Unusually, the tea is at the end of the dance so I may skip off if it's not too obviously anti social. Otherwise I'll just pick at anything healthy because I'll be having dinner with DH when I get home.

    Today's plan-
B- HEB toast, HEA1 milk, bacon, eggs (P), mushrooms and tomatoes (S)
    L- JP (F), cottage cheese (P), salad (S)
D- Spaghetti with meatballs in tomato sauce (P,S,F), HEA2 Parmesan
    Syns- weekend wine, afternoon tea??

Your meal last night sounds lovely @maman and certainly SW friendly.  I don't think we actually went to the fish restaurant last time but went to Slice in Ramsgate instead where we had the lunchtime deal of steak, jacket and salad.  With a glass of wine for me and a beer for DH it came to less than £50 which for a good sized pieces of steak and drinks I thought was very reasonable.

Enjoy your afternoon tea dance later.  Plenty of body magic going on there.

@Jellybaby I hope that you are warm, comfortable and feeling better.
@maman your meal out sounded delish, fingers crossed tea at the dance suitable for you.
It can be a pain waiting in for deliveries, hopefully most are with you by now.
Damp, mizzly and chilly here first thing, wind changed and we just got a little damp on our walk, Body Magic was 3.63 miles which I managed at a really good pace (for me), even on the hills.
SM shop done - pain doing it on a Saturday morning, but we are in the right place returning from our walk a few miles away.

Gradually getting head around SW plan again, main difficulties are needing to be on a low fibre diet, white bread {3 syns small slice} (good stuff though, not steam baked, and eating less healthy fruit and veg as in low FODMAP and the Actimel drinks are 3 syns too.
Another whinge is that neither SM have any LF cheese spreads and sausages are a like searching for gold.  I will check with group and if they have sources further away may go on a trawl.

The best thing about the future is that it comes one day at a time. (Abraham Lincoln)

Evening all, thanks for all your kind wishes.

What a day I’ve had! I decided not to go to class and spread my germs, especially as a returning lady is not long out of hospital and sits with us. I was cosied up on bed when parents rang to say they had managed to get an emergency heating engineer out as boiler wasn’t working. Long story short, it turns out the battery in their gas meter had died, the heating engineer couldn’t do anything, had to get their energy company to sort it and it was one problem after another. Thankfully now fixed but sitting in a freezing cold house for six hours was not fun 🥶🥶 although I think everyone was happy I’ve almost lost my voice 🤣🤣

Food wise at mum’s I’ve had 20 million cups of tea, toast and jam and a curly wurly 🤣 now I’m home I’m going to have the soup from yesterday with a toasted sandwich. I’m starting fresh tomorrow.

Morning all, very wet and windy this morning - really not very nice out there!

You could have done without having to go to your parents house yesterday with feeling unwell and then sitting around in the cold for hours.  Do hope that you are feeling better this morning.

Well done @bubbs on your maintain this week and not dropping out of bottom end again.

I finally finished my skirt yesterday so that it is in the wash for next time I do a lights wash, probably Tuesday looking at the forecast for this coming week.  Looks like only Tuesday and Wednesday are going to be dry!  I loathe having to dry washing indoors.  I do have a tumble dryer but begrudge the price of electric to use it for more than finishing off damp washing that's been outside and not quite dried!

    Today's plan:

    B - fry up with sausages - P; S; F; 2
    L - chicken fajitas - HEB; P; S; 1.5
D - roast pork dinner - P; S; F (will cook the broccoli I got the other day YS), alongside some other veg

    HEA - milk
    HEB - WM wrap
Syns - sausages 2; sweet chilli sauce 1.5; apple sauce 2

    Have a good day everyone.

Well done on staying in target @bubbs, just what you needed.👍🏼 How kind of you to set up a WhatsApp group for your ladies. It certainly worked! You could become a consultant in your spare time!🤣

I'm sure we'll hear more detail about the oils and avocado at the end of the year but do you know if the new Healthy Extras are on top of the current daily HEAs and HEB or instead of one of them?🤔

Hope you've not set yourself back sitting in the cold house yesterday @Jellybaby. That was the last thing you needed.☹️

It's difficult trying to fit SW around other dietary requirements @maddiemay but, at least you're using your syns for decent white bread so get to enjoy them. If you do track down suitable sausages then you could freeze them in portions. Personally I'm happy with Sainsbury's BGTY at 1 syn each but you may not have a branch nearby.

That's another outfit done for your holiday wardrobe @joedenise. You must have added to it quite a bit lately. It's so worth staying close to target so we know that everything fits.

I'm with you on the tumble drier. I try only to use it for emergencies. It's dry with faint sun here so I've put the larger items out for a few hours although they're just hanging there. Socks and knickers will dry in the top of the airing cupboard and the rest can go on the airer later when the heating's on.

I decided to skip the afternoon tea yesterday so no extra syns consumed.👍🏼 I've got a clear week coming up with no eating out planned until next Sunday and Monday. Our football team had an amazing away win yesterday (no idea how I concentrated on driving to the dance with the radio on.😁) so I'll be going to see them on Tuesday evening which will involve half a Crunchie.

    Today's plan-
B- HEB porridge, HEA milk, blueberries (S), banana (F)
    L- omelette and salad (P,S,F)
D- chicken casserole (P,S,F), cauli, broccoli and cabbage (S)
    Syns- cornflour 1, weekend wine😊

I decided to take the opportunity of having some avocado in my wrap at lunchtime.  I read on the blog that the healthy oils/fats will be instead of one of the HEA/HEBs so if you have the healthy oil/fat you'll need to forego either an HEA or HEB but I'm sure @bubbs will put us right on that.

If I'm right then the avocado I had today will be instead of one of the HEAs and I'll have saved a few syns by not having sweet chilli sauce.  I added a few chilli flakes to the mashed avocado for a bit of heat as I was a bit short of fajita spice so have made up another batch ready for having fajitas next time!

Well done to your team for having an amazing win yesterday.  I'm sure that will have cheered you up no end!

    Afternoon all 😁

Glad you laughed about spare time Maman 🤣 we have been sorting out loads for listings later............just keep saying soon be xmas and a rest 🤣

Yes instead of one, you will get 3 healthy extras, you can have 3 calcuim, 3 fibre or 3 fats , 1 of each, 2 of 1 and 1 of another, any combination you want, but i cannot seriously see 3 fibres working 🤔

Jelly hope you are feeling better today?

Food picky plate, 2 syns for 2 crackers.

Tea roast chicken, ton of veg, yorkie 2 syns, cauli cheese 3.5 syns
