Sounds like an allotment is a great idea @Coxy11, potential for mse food and Body Magic rolled into one.👍🏼
Hope you're feeling a bit better @joedenise.🤔
On plan today but out for dinner tomorrow. Although the pub we're going to usually has decent food on the menu, it's a good feeling that I don't need to worry and can choose whatever I fancy as I know I'm in target and no WI for some weeks. I'm planning not to leave it for the full 8 this time. I need to look at the calendar and plan for my most social times coming up like my birthday and 🤞🏼 some holidays when DH is finally fit to travel.
Today's plan-
B- HEB toast, HEA1 milk for drinks, bacon, eggs (P), baked beans (F)
L- LOs as yesterday (P,S,F)
D- turkey meatballs in tomato sauce (P,F.S), spaghetti (F), HEA2 Parmesan
Syns- 2? (it's actually less than that for my share of a jar of sauce)1 -
I’ve still not got any appetite so far today I’ve 20g oats made with water and a few grapes. The antibiotics seem to be kicking in as I’m not coughing so much but it’s still painful to cough.
I’ve had a cup of tea, a black coffee and a couple of glasses of water.
Hope your mum is OK @Coxy11 but it’s a chest infection then treatment sooner rather than later to get it shifting.1 -
Evening all

Get well soon @joedenise!
Made a lovely dinner slightly adapted from my new one pot slimming world recipe book I got thrown in when renewing (it arrived today). It was the recipe for a chicken pilaf but I did add a few extra spices and slightly varied the vegetables. Only 2.5 syn per serving (for toasted pine nuts).B - overnight oats with strawberry and banana
(0.5 HEA whole milk / HEB oats / 0.5 syn maple syrup)
L - pasta bolognaise lunch portion from the freezer
(free)
D - chicken and veg pilaf with pine nuts
(2.5 syn pine nuts)
I have a lunch portion left of the pilaf so I’m already looking forward to having it tomorrow!3 syns for the day.Part time working mum | Married in 2014 | DS born 2015 & DD born 2018

Coxy the allotment sounds brilliant.
Hope everyone is feeling much better.
I lost 1 lb today 😄 It’s not much in the grand scheme of things but it went on in small increments so I’m happy for it to come off the same way.
Yesterday was porridge, berries, banana and milk. A toasted teacake with butter at my brothers house and a M&S jacket potato with beans cheese and salad whilst I was out. I did a lot of walking 👍
Its ds birthday today and I’m out with him today…..cake will be involved and tomorrow we’re going for a nice meal when Dh isn’t working. I’ll get back on plan after the celebrations 👍January spends - £587.581 -

Excellent - well done @milann x
We had a change of plan today. It’s SIL’s birthday and DS2’s as well. DH agreed we’d meet SIL and wider family for coffee at a garden centre. They were all having full English but I couldn’t face it having had my bagel so I had a fruit scone! We then schlepped it to Canterbury to take DS2 out for late lunch of sharing nachos. Not my finest hour. Now drinking herbal tea!Cross-stitch WIP: Fiver Friday challenge 2025 founding member 😊 Read 25 books in 2025 11/25 Currently reading The Cliff House by Amanda Jennings1 -
