Morning all, feeling a bit MEH! WI with 2 on 😤. Been a funny week but thought food was okish. Had a 2 day first aid course which was REALLY intense considering it was a refresher! Overthought 1 question on the test & got my dermis & epidermis mixed up too but 2 out of 30 wasn’t bad. So that’s me sorted for another 3 years!
Full of cold today too 😤
    Fed up! 😩
Its not what you do but the way that you do it, thats what get results :T

Morning all, it’s looking really bright with blue skies but still cold. Not planning to go out today particularly as I had a bad night with coughing.  DH picked me up a bottle of cough syrup recommended by the pharmacist.  Have only taken one dose but the cough doesn’t seem as bad as when I first got up.  Hopefully I’ll get a decent night’s sleep tonight but will have to wait and see.

Good luck with WI this morning @bubbs.  I’m sure you’ll have had a loss again.

Sorry you’ve had a carp week this week and put on @TakeItEazy but hopefully things will settle down this week.

As I’m not feeling my best not sure what foods I’ll be eating today.  Didn’t fancy a fry up so DH just cooked a sausage sandwich but I couldn’t even manage all of that.  No point putting in my food plan as very unlikely to stick to it anyway!

    Have a good day everyone.

    Hi all,

Well done on your loss @Matron_Midge :)
Annoying about the gain @TakeItEazy - hoping this week is better for you.

I succumbed to crisps and wine last night whilst watching a film. TBH could have been worse as DH wanted to go to the pub but I persuaded him otherwise (for cash and syn purposes). We are out this evening but I'm driving so will stick to diet soda.

WI for me is Monday morning and doubt I've lost anything this week as tummy/loo has been sporadic (sorry if TMI) and I've failed the last couple of days to drink much water/squash. Need to get better at this. Have spent most of today in the garden so only a tea during a short break when DSis popped round.

Dinner tonight is beef and mushroom stroganoff with rice.

    Well done on your losses! 👏👏👏 That's @Bluegreen143, @bubbs, @Matron_Midge and @youth_leader since I last posted. 😁

You should be able to keep syns lower by eating at home with family and friends @Matron_Midge

Shame about the crisps @Coxy11 but at least they were cheaper than in the pub. 👍

You've had that cough for weeks @joedenise. I do hope the cough syrup helps you to sleep.

Seems you can't win @TakeItEazy. Seems only the other week you were worried about losing too much. Hope you have a better week.

We've not heard from @weekendsaway for a few days. I do hope she's OK as the storm was bad in NI. 🤗

Food has been mainly on plan but I did have a few chocolates last night. Soon they'll be all gone and I won't be tempted.

    Today's plan -
B- HEB porridge, HEA milk, berries (S), banana (F)
    L- Spanish omelette and beetroot (P, S, F)
    D- keema curry and rice (P, F, S)
Syns - mango chutney 1, weekend wine 😁

Morning all, another bad night with keep waking up coughing although the cough syrup does ease my throat when I take it.  I suspect there's syns in it as it's so sweet but I refuse to syn medicines!

I didn't eat much at all yesterday just half a sausage sandwich and a couple of spoonfuls of leek and bacon macaroni cheese which DH made, was OK but the macaoni could have done with cooking a minute or two longer.

I'm going to try to eat a bit more today but we'll see how I feel as the day goes on as not really feeling hungry at the moment.  So today's plan:

B - fry up with bacon
L - LF burger, onions, in soft pitta
    D - roast lamb dinner

    HEA - milk
    HEB - soft pitta
    Syns - LF burger 0.5.

    Have a good day everyone.

    Morning all,

Not done so well at keeping up this week but well done to all those that have had losses or stayed the same!

We ate out yesterday and I was a little disappointed, I didn't go for the healthiest option with Korean Fried Chicken bibimbap, though I really don't like chicken thighs so only ate one piece of chicken and struggled to eat much else. Daughter thoroughly enjoyed it though. If I ever visit the far east I think I'll go vegetarian!

Need to write a shopping list and do my big shop today, then having a roast and back to cricket training tonight so have a good 75 minutes of body magic.

Also need to go and buy a warm coat, got a work trip to Scotland soon and I outgrew my winter coat so need something to keep me warm! Hoping I can find a bargain in a charity shop.
Well hopefully I've got a trip to Scotland, got my flights the wrong way round so waiting for them to be amended!! Definitely need a holiday

    Morning all .

Denise is it a cough , cough? Is it just a night? As i had this but mine was just night, constant at night,i put up with it for months and was truly knackered,  i went doctors, i have a hiatus hernia which i knew about, had it years but this was the cause and a lansoprazole tablet was prescribed and that has stopped it mainly, sometimes i have a little cough  about an hr after i have got in bed, but generally that is it.
If it's just a cough, cough, hope it soon does one!
