Home safe and sound in time for dinner.  DH’s stress test went well and they couldn’t understand why he’d been sent for the test by DVLA as he doesn’t have a heart condition which is the reason they usually do this test.

Now he just had to wait for DVLA to issue his new C1 licence and he’ll be able to drive the motorhome in France again👍.  Trip already booked for June for a month!  Can’t wait.

I’m having problems with my laptop so still using my IPad which I don’t really like using but it’s better than not being able to get online at all.

We have decided to go down to the computer shop where I bought my laptop so see if they can work out why I can’t get onto MSE without the screen going dark and freezing!  All other websites are fine.  I’ve even deleted my bookmark and just typing in the website address but it’s still happening.

While we’re in Canterbury we’ll pop into Farmfoods to see what if any bargains we can find.  Will be taking a cool box as hoping to get some fish.

    Today’s plan:

    B - breakfast hash
L - gammon and mustard sandwich
    D - pasta bolognaise

    HEA - milk
    HEB - bread
    Syns - LF spread 3, mustard 0.5, 0% G&T 0.5

We’re in Glasgow - schools are closed, my DH’s work is cancelled (alas I’m working from home so can still do that 🤣). My children are half delighted school is closed and daddy’s off and half devastated as they were meant to have a play date and tea at their friend’s house.

Was meant to be driving to Aberdeen tomorrow afternoon for my weekend away!! So have postponed going until Saturday. Be safe everyone.

B - Greek yog, banana, maple syrup
    (1 - maple syrup)

L - tuna, sweetcorn & red onion pasta with cherry tomatoes
    (2 - light mayo)

    S - mango and cucumber

D - 1.5 chicken & black bean fajitas with the various trimmings

I forgot to measure out my cheese but I’m sure it was within my HEA as I haven't had any other cheese or milk today so I could have safely had up to 60g.

(3 - for the half wrap as the first was my HEB - I use the weight watchers wraps)

6 syns today and weigh in tomorrow AM 🤞🏼

We're in the south @Bluegreen143 but forecast says it's going to be a bit wild overnight. I think you made the right decision to postpone your trip. We won't starve if I don't go out tomorrow so will play it by ear. Stay safe everyone.  🤗

Hope you had a fruitful trip @joedenise and got your laptop sorted. I take a quick look in Farmfoods most weeks and what's available varies. I wish they'd have their £1 offer on Frylight soon as I'm getting low. We like their Colliers mature cheddar but it's not as cheap as @bubbs Asda bargain!

Good idea to just go out for a coffee @Coxy11. I always have an Americano with hot milk (hate cold coffee) so that just uses a bit of HEA.

I went to WI this morning and I'm spot on target. 😁 Very pleased with that as I know I went out of range after Christmas. We went out for lunch after and I indulged myself with a steak ciabatta and chips on the side! 🤣 No wine syns though as I had to drive myself. Pleased that DH was up to coming along for his first trip out. 👍

Stay safe in the winds. We have scaffolding around the house as they’ve just finished putting a new roof on. They were supposed to be taking it down tomorrow but I can’t see that happening in the high winds…it’s safer battened down than waving long poles around that would catch the wind...we’re not in the worsed area forecast but still within the amber warning.
Thanks for ten food photos 👍
Joedenise i love visiting Canterbury when I visit my Dd who lives in a seaside place not far away. I used to enjoy a hot pork butty in a little shop not far from the cathedral and last time we were down there went eagerly awaiting one and it had shut down. I was gutted 😂
Ive had an ok day today
    breakfast - mushroom omelette
dinner - home made veg soup 1 slice of cheese on toast - heb and hea
tea - home made chilli, rice, yoghurt 1/2 hea cheese, avocado 5 syns
snacks - small slice of Christmas cake - no icing or marzipan ? Guesstimate 10 syns…..probably not that many but I’d rather over estimate.
    January spends - £587.58

First week weigh in yesterday - only 3lbs.  Better than putting 3lbs on, and I cannot compare my progress with my last membership of eight years ago when I was 59.  I got told off for my 'quark' entry - it's free!  yay!  Eaten a lot of oranges tonight, feeling nervous about tomorrow's storm.

Hope everyone can stay safe tomorrow.
