    Evening all 😁

Denise i am trying to keep right on top of our washing as shutdown is looming 😢week on Friday, so i have been doing smaller quicker loads and putting on airer overnight. Bedding  and towels i put in dryer for about 30 mins to take the most wetness off then put on airer.

Yes it was an expensive day although i didn't pay the chunk for the repair, someone opened there car door on me and broke my mirror casing and all £410!! But they paid the same day , then when they brought the car back to us, he said just going to take it back as the tyre needs air in it, then comes back and says there's a nail in it! £77 , then i had dentist check up OMG!! £82!!! 6 months ago it was £70, i queried it she said went up in January 😢

    Food today
Picky plate, half hexa, half hexa, 1.5 syns fo

    Tea, 4 syns for gravy

Ouch @bubbs ! it's been an expensive day for you. ☹️

I need to do a freezer inventory too @joedenise. I had to make a batch of Bolognese on Sunday because DH fancied some and I didn't have any left.

    🤞for a loss tomorrow @milann.

Hope you have a good evening @Coxy11 and find something on the menu that you enjoy.

I've eaten loads today but hopefully not too many syns. Breakfast was Weetabix and fruit and tonight I did baked haddock with some new potatoes and veg as DH wanted a lightish meal. Lunch at the carvery was OK but not brilliant. Even though we ate early, the food was lukewarm. I had 1 each of roast potato and parsnip, a little cauliflower cheese and gravy, everything else was SW friendly. 🤞I'll be OK.

Hello all, just had time to quickly skim the chat but welcome home Joedenise!

I was off plan at the weekend due to a lovely sushi feast & some drinks on Sat, and a chippy & slice of cake for MIL’s birthday on Sun.

Back on it Monday and yesterday - only 3 syns yesterday - so still hoping for a small loss on Friday 🤞🏼.

This weekend will be problematic too as no control over my food due to going to stay with my papa then my friend. It will include eating out for sure. But even if I’m just gradually trending down or staying the same, it’s all much better than I was before SW! After this weekend I think I have a couple weeks without eating out so will lose more then. 🤞🏼

I’m more than happy to have stayed the same this week. Not only have I eaten out 3 times but I’d had a hospital appointment and met with a friend who is recently bereaved and I’m an emotional picker… It’s behind me now though. Now I need to focus on the things I did in between the eating out and picking 👍

Afternoon all, sitting in the waiting room at the hospital while DH has his stress test.  I’m really not looking forward to driving home - as I’ve said before I hate driving at the best of times but in the dark too is a double whammy!

Site closing down seems to have come round really quickly @bubbs but at least you’ve booked yourself a decent place for the month and you can have some of your gadgets with you!  Are you taking your ice cream machine?

Sounds like you had an enjoyable weekend @b@Bluegreen143.  Good luck with reining in the syns for a small loss or STS.

    Today’s food:

B - toasted thin with LF spread and marmalade
    L - cheese omelette
D - vegetable curry, rice.  Will have some mango chutney if there’s any left!

    HEA1 - milk
    HEA2 - cheese
    HEB - thin
Syns - LF spread 3; marmalade 2; mango chutney 2?

Glad you're pleased with your STS @milann.👍🏼
Loving your post, 'big knickers to be soon replaced by smaller ones' and 'thinspiration'! 🤣

We always say that SW has to fit around us rather than the other way round @Bluegreen143. Enjoy  your time away, make wise choices whenever you can and then be determined to get straight back on it when you get home.

I asked @bubbs about her ice cream maker too @joedenise.😁 Hope your drive home is easy and uneventful. I like driving but not with DH in the car. He's not allowed to drive for some weeks so I'll have to put up with him!

I'm going to WI tomorrow so really hoping I'm back within target after my extended Christmas wine and chocolate habit. 🤞🏼

I've eaten far less today so hopefully will offset yesterday's food.

    Today's plan-
B- HEB porridge, HEA milk, banana (F)
L- ham and grapes (P,F) grabbed on the go
    D- sausage casserole (P,S,F)
    Syns- BGTY sausages 2

    Hi all,

Glad you got your car fixed but OMG to the money you had to spend out yesterday. DH also visited the dentist for a check up and scale and polish and it was £100. We are looking for a dentist here but his check up with the old one was already booked in advance.

I had a salad bowl last night consisting of bulgar wheat, cous cous, bns, tomato, cucumber and cos lettuce last night. It had a zesty dressing. Drank plain soda water as couldn't see where on the app I could add lime cordial! Free though in terms of money and syns! I had a two finger kitkat and 2 jaffa cakes at WI. Drove home in a real pea souper on the M20/A249 - so hideous. I have only been out to show BIL the garden and put the bins out today - no need to leave the house at all thank goodness.

    Food today:
    B - fruit n fibre, blueberries, 0% vanilla greek yog - HEB, S, 1
L - brown rice bowl with pickles, feta and soy sauce - free, S, HEA
D - pork chops, gnocchi and green beans - 8
    HEA - milk
Syns - skinny bar 4 plus 9 so 13 for the day

Well done on a STS @milann - and good luck for this week.
Annoying about the luke warm food @maman :open_mouth:
