Morning all, what a windy night and we aren’t even in a storm warning area!  We are hoping to go to Canterbury later today once the wind and rain calm down - it’s supposed to clear the south east by about 10am but we’ll see.

I weighed this morning and lost 3.5lb so think you were probably right @bubbs about some water retention as I don’t think I have ever lost that amount before!

Well done @maman on being bang on target.  A great place to be but I’m sure you’ll be going lower over the next few weeks!  I don’t use Frylight any more I much prefer the Crisp and Dry 1 cal spray as is just oil and no water.  It’s a bit more expensive but fries better.

I know the pulled pork shop you mean @milann but a shame it closed down.  We go to Canterbury quite regularly as it’s only about an hour away and we can park up in the Park and Ride in the motorhome - only £4 per 24 hours midnight to midnight so makes a cheap break and then we use our bus passes to visit different places mainly around the south east coast.

Well done @yo@youth_leader 3.5lb is a great loss, absolutely no reason to be disappointed.  My usual losses are just 0.5lb a week but they all add up.

    Today’s plan:

    B - porridge, fruit
L - not sure as depends if we’re home or out.  If home a cheese omelette
D - LO veg curry, rice, mango chutney (bought a new jar when we went shopping)

    HEA1 - milk
    HEA2 - cheese?
    HEB - porridge
    Syns - mango chutney 2

Keep safe everyone particularly those of you in the Red and Amber warning areas.

    Morning all,

Well done @maman at being bang on target xx
    Great 3lb loss @youth_leader!
Annoying about the laptop @joedenise but excellent about the 3.5lb loss!! Hope you get to Canterbury today - give me a wave as you drive past!!

No plans for today - will just clean the house and stay warm and dry! I plan to make a massamam curry in the SC to freeze. The GC yesterday was a bit rubbish but somehow still managed to spend £50! TBF some of that was a birthday gift and two birthday cards, but still!

    Food today:
    B - fruit n fibre, blueberries, 0% vanilla yog - HEB, S, 1
L - JP, baked beans, cheese - 1, free, HEA
D - Ginger and Soy Salmon, plain rice, pak choi - P, free, S
    HEA - milk
Syns - 2 but will also have a little glass of wine with dinner.....

Stay safe everyone and special mention to our Scottish contingent - @beanielou, @Jellybaby and @Bluegreen143 who have it the worst xx

I just put olive oil in a spray bottle, use a non stick pan and as long as I use no more than 1-2 sprays per person or so I don’t count it. It’s a bit easier cooking for four as I’d imagine just putting 1-2 sprays in a pan wouldn’t work.

Weighed in today and that’s another 1.5lb off which I’m really pleased with given I wasn’t on plan over the weekend and ate out twice.

Now at 10st 10.5 and have lost 10.5lb in total since starting SW. I did start at the end of Nov so two months ago, but I basically had two weeks off at Christmas then it took me 10 days to lose that Christmas weight so it’s really only 6 weeks or so of actual progress. I’ve never tried a diet which works so consistently or is so easy to stick to (and I know it will get easier when maintaining as you can get away with extra syns a couple of days a week etc).

Wild here in a side road in Warkworth Northumberland ... I do feel for the birds, I've just seen a wood pigeon being battered in the air.  Stay safe everyone.

We've decided to leave Canterbury until next week, probably Wednesday as other plans Monday and Tuesday and we both have nurse appointments on Thursday afternoon but hoping to get down to the big MrTs near the garden centre where we can have our free hot drink before the end of the month - don't want to miss out on that and I need some more diet tonics but unfortunately our local Mr Ts doesn't sell their own brand ones any more - only Schweppes or Fevertree neither of which I particularly like!

Well done on your 1.5lb loss @Bluegreen143; that's a good loss when you've only been on plan for 5 out of 7 days - it just goes to show that SW works even if you're not completely on plan 100%.

It’s been a wild windy day in N Yorks - hope all north and west of me are safe and well as we only really had the tail of it.
    Happy to report 1/2lb loss.
Busy weekends as family coming for Sunday lunch and tomorrow hubby and I are off walking with our friends and then said friends are coming back to ours for a meal (and probably wine) going to do a sweet potato, black bean and chicken dish in the slow cooker. Will offer rice and crusty bread and butter alongside it. I will avoid the bread if I’m having wine.
    stay safe everyone.
