    Morning all
Well! After yesterday’s gain I’ve had a chronic bout of you know what (still ongoing) 😳! Not eaten since breakfast yesterday so weighed this morning and the pesky gain has gone along with a couple of friends! I so don’t recommend this as a way to lose weight, feeling so ill 😢.
Its not what you do but the way that you do it, thats what get results :T

@bubbs - it’s definitely a cough cough as it’s all day but just seems worse at night.  Think I’m going to put an extra pillow on the bed tonight as it’s definitely worse at night presumably because I’m fairly flat in bed.

Sorry you’re still feeling rough but like you say not a nice way to lose weight.

TIE, it's not good and about time they sorted you out. I know that's easier said than done though my friend has been ill over 12 mths with such low iron, she has had an iron infusion booked twice and cancelled 😢 Some days she can't stand up because her heart races that fast she will pass out.

Denise, yes i bet it is , i have 3 pillows and a v pillow when i have a cough, cough. Hope you soon get some relief from it

I know it's cold comfort @joedenise but I read about the 100 day cough that's going around in the paper this morning. ☹️ Hope you get to eat a bit more today. 🤗

Funnily enough I think I prefer chicken thighs to breasts @strawb_shortcake. We're having some today. 😋 It does depend on the quality and how it's cooked though. When I was in Hong Kong, the quality of meat was awful.

I refreshed my freezer inventory this week and bought more thighs although I've got plenty of breasts in there.

I agree with @bubbs that you should persist to get to the bottom (excuse pun 😉) of your problems @TakeItEazy. I know you had some tests, do you know the next step? 🤔

The rain is hopping off the ground here and the wind is strong on and off. I'm really pleased we don't have to go out.

We're having a chicken casserole today as DH still doesn't feel like a full roast.

    Today's plan -
B- HEB toast, HEA milk, eggs (P), mushrooms and tomatoes (S)
    L- JP (F), prawns (P), salad (S)
    D- chicken casserole (P, F, S), cauliflower, broccoli, cabbage (S)
Syns - LTL mayo 1, cornflour 1, weekend wine 😁

My cough did actually disappear over New Year and while we were on holiday.  I think I might have picked up something on the plane or at the airport as the cough got worse after about 3 days at home.  I’m struggling to breathe at the moment and have had to use my inhaler quite a bit the last couple of days. I’ve made an appointment with the nurse for my regular meds review and asked them to do a COPD review although it isn’t actually due until May.

Hope the cough eases soon Joedenise.
Well done on the losses folks 👏👏
I haven’t posted the last few days but have been ok (I think) I’m the world’s worse at actually remembering to record syns. I’ve been trying to stay mainly on free foods and healthy extras except a home made rhubarb and ginger sponge and custard….of which I had a tiny portion. I’ve also gone back to using olive oil and butter but again tiny portions…..about 1 teaspoonful…..which I think is 1 syn if I remember correctly. I have missed using the sw app but have to admit towards the end of my membership I hardly looked at it.
It’s a bit of a dangerous week for me as ds has a birthday. I’m going out in the daytime on his actual birthday which will definitely include cake and a lunch out and the day after his birthday we’re going out for a posher meal as Dh will be off work and come with us. I’ll do what I can in between times….and try to get some walking in.
I want to make some mushroom soup from one of my sw books tomorrow. I have lots of sw books and aim to try something new every week.

Hope your cough passes soon @joedenise.

Didn't get a coat earlier, and it was too wet to walk round the other shops, I did get a jumper dress reduced from £25 to £5.25!

Cricket was really hard, first real exercise I've done in almost 6 months, but came home and felt really lightheaded in the shower, kept going cold and shaky and then sick. Not sure if this is a bug or just my bodies way of letting me my fitness is shocking! Only been sick once after running and don't think it was like this!
