Morning all, not had a good night, the rain was horrendous but it's stopped now but more forecast for later.

Hoping to do a bit more of my dress today.  It's in one piece so just need to add the straps and then turn up the hem.  Once it's finished and washed I'll put it away ready for my holiday next month.

Very quiet on here yesterday - hope it was just because everyone was busy!  Today's plan:

    B - fry up with bacon - P; S; F
    L -tuna mayo sandwich, pickles -HEB; P; S; 1
    D - mushroom stroganoff, rice - HEA2; S; F

    HEA1 - milk
    HEA2 - Primula
    HEB - bread
    Syns - LTL mayo 1; G&Ts 6

    Have a good day everyone.

    Morning all,

Rain was horrendous during the night here too @joedenise and was still going strong when I left for group. I’m grumpy with lack of sleep and being told I had gained a wee half pound didn’t help! It’s more frustration than grumpiness but I’ll continue to plod on.

DS is off to the rugby later so I can please myself for dinner. I fancy a huge fat burger with all the trimmings so have taken mince out to defrost. I’ll use HEB and A for the roll and cheese and there will be syns in the burger sauce but as I’m not having any alcohol will be well within allowance.

You'll soon shift that half pound @Jellybaby.  Must be great to be able to have just what you want to eat rather than having to please someone else!

The burger sounds amazing!  Must admit I'm very lazy when it comes to burgers as I buy my butchers low fat ones as they're only half syn - probably not even that really as he uses very lean mince but better safe than sorry!

    Evening all :D

Must have chucked it here last night too as was very wet and puddles this morning, but i didn't hear a thing we was totally knackered and slept like a log!

Grrrr Jelly, that will soon go .

I put on half so back in target for another week 🤣 i didn't win Icon of the year but lovely to be nominated. My friend left before the raffle was drawn and gave me her tickets and said hope you win , i did 🤣🤣🤣SOTW had left so i had a choice, i didn't buy any raffle tickets and i always do but it was pumpkin soup and i wouldn't have used it ! So i chose SOTW basket, 2 massive bags of apples, some posh satsumas, lemon, tins, lasagne sheets passata and a mug shot , not bad for nothing 😁 I gave someone else a bag of apples as i am not an apple lover but i will make DH a crumble with the others as still have loads here!

Well done on getting back into target again @bubbs and the free prize. 👍 You could share the crumble and then maybe you will gain again. 🤔🤣

Shame about the half pound @Jellybaby but totally understand you're frustration. I yoyoed for weeks with no rhyme or reason. ☹️ Hope you enjoy your burger, I've not made any for ages so thanks for the heads up.

Didn't get round to posting yesterday but stayed on plan.

Today will end of on 5.5 syns plus my weekend wine.

We had fry up for breakfast, soup and salad for lunch. Tonight's dinner is chicken stir fry with 2.5 for honey and 3 for the half Crunchie at the dire football this afternoon. ☹️

It's been a mixed day here. Some sun but heavy showers in between. Tomorrow looks good so washing all ready to go @joedenise. 😁

DH and I have just looked at different forecasts for tomorrow and the one I looked at shows it being dry from about 9am - 4pm and the one DH looked at shows rain on and off all day!  If I'd realised how good today was going to be I'd have got a machine load done.  Will just have to se what it's like tomorrow and make a decision then!

Percy pigs?  Enjoy whatever you decide @bubbs.

Morning all, had rain all night and was still raining up until a few minutes ago so definitely no point in washing today as it's far too damp outside.  Will definitely need to do some during the week as the wash bin is getting rather full, especially after the bath towels being added!

Well done on getting back into target @bubbs and with a treat or two during the week hopefully you'll stay there and not fall out of bottom end again!  Just wish I could get somewhere near my target range rather than keep hovering a lb or 2 over top end!  Suppose the holidays don't help, LOL!

    Today's plan:

    B - fry up with sausages - P; S; F; 2
    L - burger, onions, gherkins, WM roll - HEB; S; 0.5
    D - roast pork, roast potatoes, veg, apple sauce - P; S; F; 2

    HEA - milk
    HEB - WM roll
    Syns - sausages 2; burger 0.5; apple sauce 2

    Have a good day everyone.

    Hi all,

Well done on being in target @bubbs and the freebie win. Shame about Icon award but you reign supreme here lol!!

I'm back from my BFF's. She fed me up with a Charlie Bigham lasagne and garlic bread on Friday, then we had a Pret sandwich yesterday (not sure what's happened to their bread, tasted very supermarket cheap brown sliced) and we had a pub meal last night. I had fish and chips which was lush and we shared a bottle of rose between 3 of us. I had a thick white doorstep bacon sandwich before leaving this morning. There is no way on this earth that I've lost anything this week!!! However, it was a real tonic to spend some time with her without our DH's who are together on a boys trip to Tenerife. We went to St Albans yesterday and I got a couple of Christmas gifts before the madness descends.

Tuna pasta bake here for tea tonight. Drawing a line and will start afresh tomorrow.
