Sorry @bubbs, what I meant was you lose when you're trying to gain to get back into the bottom end of your target range. 🤗

Hope your DH gets his results soon. We're fast running out of October!

Well done on your loss @joedenise x

I too live in flats @maman so wearing heels was a big deal. I wore them around the house on Friday so they weren’t too bad after the do.

Sorry to hear you were at a funeral @Jellybaby and oops to the cheese scone - DHs favourite.

Better too early than stressing in traffic @milann xx.

The apple crumble is now all gone thanks to DH and DD. Trouble is I have a whole carrier bag of apples to use courtesy of the pub landlord. Only so many I can manage!

The light soft cheese is Aldi’s own @maman and I only have a scraping. Usually have one proper coffee (Nespresso) and 3 cups of strong tea per day using skimmed milk so probably an HEA combined.

Please can someone check almonds for syns and also smoked peppered mackerel - TIA (I won’t eat them together in case anyone is wondering…)

Almonds are 7.5 or a HEA for 20. Smoked mackerel is 1.5 syns for 100g or 2 syns for flavoured @Coxy11.

When we have apples gifted, I stew them and freeze and DH puts some on his muesli. They're 4.5 for 300g or 6 for a baked apple with a tbsp of mincemeat. Either count as a HEB.

I’ve stewed lots of apple from ds tree portioned into small individual portions. They’ll last months. I quite like them stirred into yoghurt  with a sprinkle of cinnamon or a tablespoon on top of porridge.
I weighed myself again this morning and 2 of the 3 I’d gained have gone. I need 1 1/2 to go now to get under that elusive stone bracket.
I thoroughly enjoyed aqua last night but did miss jumping into the jacuzzi afterwards. I cancelled my old gym when I got rid of my car then got a GP referral to the gym at the corner of my road. It’s does the job without the frills,,,,and saved me £200 over the year but I could have just relaxed in the bubbly water last night. Coming home and jumping into my bath just wasn’t the same 😂😂
Brunch…..scrambled egg on toast with mushrooms.
Tea….jacket and salad - if we eat out with  cheese and beans…..if we stay in with tuna. You never know what you’re getting if you have tuna in a jacket when out and about.
    Snacks…. A Kit Kat 6 syns ? and fruit.

Morning all, another bright and windy day today.  Wish I'd got some washing sorted out as could have got it out on the line before going shopping, which we'll be doing shortly.  Looked at the forecast and looks like Thursday is the only day without rain in the next 10 days!  Will have to do the next load then.

    Today's plan:

    B - toasted cheese sandwich, pickles - HEA2; HEB; S
    L - minced beef hash - P; S; F
    D - fish pasta bake, veg - P; S; F; 3.5

    HEA1 - milk
    HEA2 - cheese
    HEB - bread
    Syns - cheese sauce 3.5

    Have a good day everyone.

Well done on the loss already @milann. A 2 finger Kit Kat is 5.5 syns.

We had torrential rain and wind overnight. The wind is still going strong but it’s beginning to brighten up. Not chancing any washing though as more rain due.

I had a sweet omelette with apple and Skyr baked apple yoghurt - counting 1 syn. I’ve taken chicken and rice soup from the freezer for lunch and we’re having Hunter’s chicken with chips and roasted veg for dinner.  Still have HEB and plenty syns if I want anything else.

    Have a good day everyone!

    Hi all,

Well done @milann on both the weight loss and the exercise. I loathe swimming so aqua fit would be the very last resort for my exercise!

I dropped DS2 to Morrisons this morning as he had an IV. Just heard that he was successful and starts with an induction on Saturday. You have no idea how difficult it is to find a job, any job. He will be stacking shelves and has been offered 15 hrs/wk initially. I’m so happy and relieved for him, not just from a financial perspective but from a MH and social perspective too.

    Food today:
B - WM toast with light soft cheese, satsuma, banana - HEB, HEA, S, free
L - Morrisons YS roasted veg cous cous (yellow stickers, not sure of syns), apple, bag of Teddy Faces - ??, S, 4.5
    D - SW mushroom risotto - free
    HEA - milk

Well done on your loss @milann. 🤞you'll soon see that new number on the scales. 😁

The teddy faces are 3.5 and the nearest Morrison's couscous I could find (veg with red and yellow peppers) was 6.5 syns. Great news about DS getting a job. 👍

It's been a lovely day here too, bright and sunny. When DD2 came we sat in our new sun room and it was really hot. We can't decide what to call this new room. We can't keep calling it 'the extension'. 🤣

Lunch went well. We had spaghetti Bolognese and a DIY eton mess for pudding. I had yogurt and fruit while others had meringues and cream with theirs. We had a fry up for breakfast so all on plan. 👍 I'm dancing again tonight so if I'm hungry will snack on some ham or cottage cheese when I get home.

Thank you @maman - that's the correct couscous. Was delish and glad to know the Teddy Faces are only 3.5!! So that was 10 syns for Lunch ooops. Oh well....

In case anyone thinks I helicopter-parent DS2(!) I dropped him off and went to collect a FBMP purchase of some tiles for DD's bedroom then went back for him. Also our lane is closed for four days due to a water leak repair so had to go down scary thin lanes with grass in the middle to get to town! Have found a new way out of the village - has only taken 11 months!

New room name - the Nook? the Snug? the Orangery?
