Evening!! I was annoyed the shoes didn’t make the cut as well!! They are these ones:
https://www.next.co.uk/style/su502338/h22910
they look much better on….
We had a day trip to Ashford town toretrieve DHs car yesterday and went to the high street for lunch. I chose a JP with cheese and beans - couldn’t eat it as was enormous. Also annoyed with myself that the baked beans have sugar in!! Just didn’t think but hey ho!
Today I had a toasted bagel with marmite for breakfast and LO brown rice fried up with ham, peas and egg at lunch. Dinner was a chicken arrabiata stew with Parmesan dumplings (oops) I did tenderstem broccoli, green beans and AF potatoes with it and made an apple crumble for pudding. I swerved the crumble obvs.Hope Joe’s scan went okay Denise? Really annoying being at midday!! Good going on the lunch out and Chrimbo shopping @Jellybaby whoop! Sounds like good choices for you too @maman.Cross-stitch WIP: Haberdashery Shop Fiver Friday challenge 2025 founding member 😊 Read 25 books in 2025 20/25 Currently reading Finding Hildasaay by Christian Lewis0 -

Morning all,
You are iconic to us @bubbs! Congratulations on your nomination x
I WI with a 0.5lb gain today. Hmmm. I haven’t been drinking as much water these past few days and combined with a one a day iron tablet which brings it’s own consequences might be the cause. Will make a concerted effort this week.Food today:
B - apple, toasted protein bagel thin, light soft cheese - S, HEB, HEA
L - LO chicken arrabiata, salad - counting as 2 due to pesto in the sauce (no dumplings left thankfully), S
D - grilled gammon steak, LO AF potatoes, broccoli, green beans - P, Free, SHEA - milk
Syns - 2 plus ryvita x 2 and scraping of soft cheese - 5 totalCross-stitch WIP: Haberdashery Shop Fiver Friday challenge 2025 founding member 😊 Read 25 books in 2025 20/25 Currently reading Finding Hildasaay by Christian Lewis0 -
Shame you didn't manage a loss this week @Coxy11 but it was just a tiny gain and you know why it probably happened. I'm sure you won't let it derail you.🤗
I'm curious which soft cheese you use on your bagel. Looking at your menu, you don't seem to have 2 x HEAs so if you used something like Primula, Laughing Cow or Dairylea then it could be syn free.🤔
Love the shoes BTW. I've got very lazy since Covid and tend to just wear ballet flats unless I'm wearing Skechers trainers. I tried on some boots with small heels yesterday and it's amazing how it improves posture instantly.
We know why you get the nominations and votes @bubbs. It's because you deserve it. It's not easy to stay at target for so long and everyone is envious of you losing when you're not even trying! Plus there's the delicious things you take for taster sessions.🤣
DD2 is visiting tomorrow. We usually go out for lunch but I'm planning that we'll stay in tomorrow and have Bolognese from the freezer.🤞🏼
Today's plan-
B- HEB toast, HEA milk, scrambled eggs, ham (P), tomatoes (S)
L- usual cold meat and LOs (P,S,F)
D- salmon (P), SW chips (F), cauli steak, green stuff (S)

Loved the photo Coxy and the shoes that didn’t make it on the photo were very nice too.Im very envious that you can wear nice shoes.
I felt a right mess at the wedding as I finally settled on a warmer dress than I’d intended wearing with an ankle boots, I need an orthotic support for my dodgy ankle and I really miss a nice shoe with a dress. It didn’t stop me having a lovely time though. We left ds house at 8.30 to cross the Pennines on the motorway where 9/10 there’s a big jam…..We sailed through and were there over an hour early 😂 we did know there was a Wetherspoons next door to the civic hall where the ceremony took place so we had breakfast whilst waiting for the wedding to kick off. We have a big family but most of us only meet at weddings and funerals. It was great to catch up…it wasn’t a posh affair….in the local rugby club afterwards but was still very special. There was plenty of food but none of it, other than the decorations around the sausage rolls etc was sw friendly. A buffet at lunch time and an even bigger buffet in the evening. I had glasses of 3 wine over the day, but between breakfast and buffets consumed enough to put 3 lb on when I weighed this morning.I’m booked onto aqua at 6 pm.Brunch - hea cheese, beans and toast with butter. I didn’t measure the butter so will have been a lot of syns. ( I don’t usually have butter with this….not sure what got into me 🤬)
Tea - pork chop, green beans, carrots and new potatoes with gravy 2 syns.Snacks - fruit
Hope those of you who were feeling poorly are on the mend and that your Dh goes on ok Denise.January spends - £587.580 -
Afternoon all, been a lovely morning here - bright and very breezy. Just got the washing I hung out this morning in, folded and put away. It's good to get it all out of the away in a morning!
DH's scan went OK yesterday - thanks for the good vibes for it. Should get the result in the next week or so and then will find out whether or not the consultant needs to see him again. When he saw him last year he said see you in a year but he hadn't said anything about the scan so don't know whether or not that was in the plan - we just have to wait and see.
Decided to make another dress for holidays - same pattern as the long one I made but making this one up as a knee length one so that I can wear it during the day as well as evening - I don't feel right wearing a long dress during the day! This one is in a white fabric with small yellow and pink flowers on it. Have made a start on it this morning but not done much of it yet - just cut out; sewed the straps and turned them (they were very awkward as very narrow); and done the first 5 or 6 row of shirring. Needed to undo the first row after I realised I'd one the shirring on the opposite side to the other few rows! Hurt my dodgy thumb so have decided to take a break, have a cup of tea and lunch later. Will then continue with it this afternoon if my thumb isn't painful.
Well done on your nomination @bubbs. You deserve it for all the reasons that @maman said.
Glad you enjoyed the wedding @milann. Hopefully you enjoyed the syns too. Draw the line and get straight back on plan and hopefully you won't have done too much damage.
Shame about the small gain @Coxy11. I'm sure you'll shift that easily this week. I was very naughty and weighed again this morning and have shifted another half pound - hope I can lose a bit more before "official" WI day on Friday.
Today's plan:
B - mushroom omelette - P; S
L - chicken fajitas - HEB; P; S
D - mixed bean goulash; rice - P; S; F
HEA - milk
HEB - WM wrap
Syns - may have a lolly later 6
Have a good day everyone.0 -
Afternoon all,
Well done on the loss @joedenise and sorry to those who’ve gained slightly, you’ll have it off in no time.
You’re nominated @bubbs because you ARE an icon!
I had a funeral this morning that was very, very busy. My friend and I had already decided we’d go for coffee afterwards, which we did but she bought me a cheese scone as well. It was delicious! No idea on syns and thankfully as I don’t eat butter saved a few there 🤣
Apart from the scone I’ve only had some fruit as I haven’t felt hungry. Looking forward to dinner though as it’s meatballs with spaghetti 😋

Evening all 😁
Thanks everyone, but Maman i DO try hard , have to stay in target, yes i have a few treats but don't go over my syns for the week.
Denise glad DH got on ok. My DH has STILL not had results from bloods on the 3rd! Not like they are important 😡😡 i said to him today, you need to ring up! He said they said they would contact me in October (which they did) he said i will wait till next week .
Milan always the way when you leave plenty of time, glad you had a good day.
Food today
4 ryvuta crackerbread , 4 syns or hexb, ham and beetoot and speed stuff.
