I have shoes!!! Just in case anyone was going to lose sleep over it 🤣

Glad you got on okay at the hospital @bubbs

The food noise has been immense today - particularly sweet things. I have resisted but it’s been really challenging. Have had an additional
banana and two satsumas. Also had double the rice crackers but no soft cheese as had a little cheddar with my chilli tonight.

Going to bed shortly to avoid eating!!

Morning all, weather looks a bit kinder this morning!  We've got free electric tonight so planning on getting the bed changed.  Will wash it using solar later this morning/early afternoon and then will tumble dry during the free hour tonight.

Glad you got some shoes @Coxy11 but assume you didn't find a better dress.  Was that Canterbury or did you end up having to go to BW?

Weighed this morning and pleased to say I have lost 3.4lb since we got back, most of which was probably water retention after flying but I'll take it anyway!  I'm still 2.8lb above where I want to be to get to top end of target which to be honest is probably the weight I feel most comfortable now rather than my actual target.

    Today's plan:

    B - bacon and mushroom sandwich - HEB; P; S; 1.5
    L - minced beef hash - P; S; F
    D - butter chicken, rice, mango chutney - P; S; F; 5.5

    HEA - milk
    HEB - bread
    Syns - LF spread 1.5; butter 2.5; chutney 3

    Have a good day everyone.

    Morning all,

Went to bed tired and then couldn’t drop off - so annoying! We went to BW Denise and I didn’t see another dress - even DH said what do people wear to events/parties. There were sparkly sweaters/tops but a distinct lack of dresses. I am wearing the shoes around the house today as they are 2” high and I normally live in slippers or flat pumps!

    Food today:
B - banana, toasted protein bagel, marmite - free, HEB, free
    L - JP, cheese, mixed salad, pickles, satsuma - 1, HEA, S
D - award ceremony food - I chose chicken - can’t remember how it will be served or what with…! No alcohol or pudding for me.
    HEA - milk
    Syns - ??

Hi all, sorry AWOL this week due to more car problems, mum messing up her medication and it being everyone’s fault except her (obviously 🙄), and trying to organise my trip to Madrid that’s been rescheduled twice!

I’ve only read a few posts but well done on the loss @joedenise and 🥳🥳 you have shoes @Coxy11 You didnt happen to see any gold sandals whilst you were searching? I have decided I want gold heels to go with my dress for my niece’s wedding in a few months time. No idea why as I never wear anything gold or sparkly. I fear I may be turning into my mother 🙈🤣

Food wise, I’m expecting a small gain tomorrow. I’ve tried not to stress eat but have given in to extra bread a couple of times, oh and a large bag of crisps.

Well done on your loss @joedenise. You did really well to put on so little actual weight on holiday. 👍🏼 I seem to be always at the top end of target lately . I'm reasonably OK with that too. My clothes still fit at that weight but the extra 3lbs or so always seems to settle on my stomach and I hate that.

Glad you found some shoes @Coxy11. Like you, I'd prefer a dress for an event or I have a few 'evening' skirts. I'm not a fan of those sequinned jumpers.

Sorry to hear you're still having stress @Jellybaby. As you've cut down massively on the wine lately you should have enough syns to cope with some bread and crisps.🤞🏼

I've done my meal plan and shopping list so will head to the shops shortly.

    Today's plan-
    B- HEB toast, eggs (P), baked beans (F), mushrooms (S), HEA1 milk
L- lentil soup, small ham salad (P,S)
    D- Hunters' style chicken (P,S, HEA2), green stuff (S), SW chips (F)
Syns- some salsa for the sauce 2? , weekend wine😁

    Morning all,

Sorry to not mention your loss @joedenise - you’ll be back to target this week I reckon!!

The awards ceremony was good fun. DH made the meal by the skin of his teeth having been stuck in London - not only did he hit another van (his company van coming decidedly worse off than the one he hit) but he ran the battery down sitting waiting to pick up the materials and needed a push - from the traffic warden who was trying to book him. He got to the hotel just as dinner was being served.

Dinner was chicken chausseur - chicken a bit dry but the creamy mash and gravy made up for it. I was starving by the time it was served so ate the lot - sorry not sorry. I gifted DH my crème brûlée pudding. He only ate his own as said it had the consistency of crème caramel - you know those puddings in a pot with a little tape holding the vacuum in 🤢

Denise you may see us in the local rag if you get it?!

Right, back on topic (sorry) - food today:

    B - toasted protein bagel, poached egg, spinach - HEB, P, S
    L - LO chicken biryani - free
    D - $m spaghetti - HEA for the cheese
    HEA - milk
    Syns - not sure

Morning all, would have been a good day for drying as it's dry and a bit breezy but alas no washing (for a change!).  Did manage to dry the bedding during the free hour last night; we also used an electric fan heater rather than having the central heating on so saved a bit of gas there.

We've got 3 hours of free electric this afternoon from 12-3pm so I'm going to cook a lamb tagine which I've got planned for later this week so will get that cooked, cooled down and into the freezer for towards the end of the week.  It needs about 2.5 hours cooking so it's great to be able to use free leccy!

Which local rag @Coxy11 as there are a couple available?  The Gazette is my guess!

Good luck for WI @bubbs and @Jellybaby today.  Hope you get what you want.

    Today's plan:

    B - fry up - P; S; F; 2
    L - burger, WM roll, onions, gherkins - HEB; S; 0.5
D - hot honey halloumi, mash, green beans - HEA2;S; F; 3 (recipe on SW Blog)

    HEA1 - milk
    HEA2 - halloumi
    HEB - WM roll
    Syns - sausages 2; burger 0.5; hot sauce 3

    Have a good day everyone.

PS. Changed my mind about the tagine, we'll have it for dinner tomorrow rather than freezing it so toad in the hole will be later in the week which was planned for tomorrow night.  Makes more sense as DH has a scan tomorrow lunchtime so no idea what time we'll be home as it also means we'll pop into Dobbies for our free hot drinks!
