    Morning all,

Enjoy the wedding on Saturday @milann. Well done on the loss @Coxy11 you’ll be back at target in no time 🎯

Hope your DH is seen quickly @joedenise and he’s not in too much pain. I’ve had sciatica in the past and it’s horrid!
Boo to your cold @bubbs. I have a sore throat, again!
So far I’ve had fruit and yoghurt and four cups of tea! Think it’s going to be a soup day as it’s so wet and miserable. Plenty of meals in the freezer if I want something more substantial come tea time.

Morning all and welcome back @joedenise. Sorry to hear about DH’s issues. Let’s hope it’s nothing serious 🤞🏻

I skipped dinner last night. Just didn’t fancy anything. Had a nice bath but very interrupted sleep. Have dosed up again today. It’s a brighter day so DH and I are going food shopping. I always spend more when he’s with me ☹️

    Food today:
B - satsuma, WM toast, light soft cheese - S, HEB, HEA
    L - JP, tuna, mayo, salad, pickles, apple - 1, P, 2, S
D - pork szechuan with noodles - free
    HEA - milk
Syns - 3 plus 2 x ryvita with scraping of soft cheese - 6 total

Afternoon all, I don't know where the time has gone!  Well I do of course as I've just been busy!

We got up early in order to get to the surgery for DH to make an appointment.  They don't open until 8am but you need to be outside by about 7.30 if you want to get an appointment so we were!  He got an appointment for 9.40 but I had my waxing appointment at 9.30 in town so we were going to go home for a quick cuppa and then leave about 8.55 for DH to drop me in town and then go back for his appointment before coming back for me.  Unfortunately it work out that way!  There was a hold up on the way back and there was a bit of excitement with 4 police cars with all police up in one of the fields surrounding some bloke who was just standing there in shorts and t-shirt with his hands on his head!  they were obviously looking for something in the field so we just turned round and went back to town and did the shopping and at 9 I phoned the salon to see if she could fit me in immediately so that DH could get to his appointment but unfortunately not so DH went back to the GPs and I then hung around for my appointment and walked back to Tesco via a few charity shops!  Still ended up hanging around for him to come back for me.  Still eventually got home and made a start on the washing mountain!!!  Two loads out on the line with another in the machine.  Still more to do though but not until tomorrow.

Anyway back to SW matters!  I weighed this morning and have put on about 5lb!  Really hoping that some of it is water retention from the flying as it usually is.  Will find out when I weigh on my normal Friday WI day.

    Today's plan:

    B - cheese omelette - HEA2; P
    L - fajita, WM wrap - HEB; P; S; F
    D - jerk sweet potato, rice 'n' peas - P; S; F; 3.5

    HEA1 - milk
    HEA2 - cheese
    HEB - WM wrap
Syns - light coconut milk 3.5; mini party rings 4.5

    Have a good day everyone.

PS. Just popping back to say I got my washing in about half hour ago, all dry and now it is absolutely p'ing down!  Glad I got it in when I did!

He saw a GP and they think he's just strained his muscles.  Said he'd overdone the walking while we were on holiday!  We didn't walk that much - we probably done about 50% more steps than we do at home but it was only strolling not brisk walking.  He's got some strong painkillers but only enough for about 5 days.  Been told to give it 4 weeks and if it's improved to go back and they'd have another think about what to do!

I thought they'd have at least told him to get it X-rayed but that's probably what they'll do in 4 weeks!

Hope the cold doesn't last too long @bubbs.  They always get you down a lot don't they.  Hope you're resting and not rushing about.  Plenty of fluids and rest usually helps.

Morning all, hope you're feeling better @bubbs but at least you're getting to see your friend.  Is it the one you go to Company Shop with?  If it is then I hope you get lots of bargains!

Have done all the washing mountain and got the last of it out on the line.  Don't think it will dry today as there isn't any breeze at all but hopefully it will get the worst of it out and I can finish it off on the airer overnight.

Have been rearranging the meal plan as haven't got all the necessary things for what I had planned as only picked up absolutely essential stuff yesterday due to DH's GP appointment.  Am getting a list together to do a proper shop tomorrow.

I cooked double the amount of filling for the fajitas yesterday with the plan of freezing half for next week but DH said don't freeze it I'd rather have it for lunch tomorrow (ie today) so lunch will be the same again today which meant I couldn't do the planned breakfast so had to change that too as was going to have toast!  Not having toast and a wrap in one day!!!

So today's plan has been changed to:

    B - Mediterranean fry up - halloumi, scrambled eggs, spinach and chorizo - HEA2; P; S; 3.5
    L - LO fajitas - HEB; P; S
    D - SC honey, soy, balsamic pork fillet, mash, green veg - P; S; F; 1.5

    HEA1 - milk
    HEA2 - halloumi
    HEB - WM wrap
    Syns - chorizo 3.5; honey 1; cornflour 0.5

    Have a good day everyone.

    Morning all,

Gosh you’ve hit the ground running @joedenise. Glad that DH got to see the GP and you could shop/launder around the appointments.

Hope you feel better today @bubbs and it won’t hamper your bargain hunting with your mate!

I’ve not long got up. Another rubbish night but I’m still dosing up. My excitement today will be a tip run with DS2 and sending back most of a Next order. I ordered 4 dresses for Friday and have kept one. Not 100% happy with it but we are off to an outlet mall tomorrow. Might find something there possibly. Definitely need shoes….

    Food today:
    B - mushroom and spinach omelette - P, S
L - poke bowl - brown rice, feta, edamame beans, pickles - free, HEA, S
    D - chicken supreme - free
    HEA - milk
    HEB - walnuts
Syns - 2 ryvita and a scraping of soft cheese

Sorry I should have asked how you were too @Coxy11 - sounds like you needed the lie in this morning.  It's definitely best to let your body tell you when you need more sleep.  Hope you feel better soon.

Good luck with finding a more suitable dress (and shoes) tomorrow.  Where are you off to - Ashford?

How do you make your chicken supreme so that it's free?

Didn't get to post yesterday but stayed 100% on plan. The funeral I went to was hugely well attended which was great for the family and also meant I could slip away afterwards without going near beige food.👍🏼

Sorry to hear so many of you are suffering with colds. It'll be interesting to see if the loss of appetite has any bonuses from SW.🤔

Well done on tackling the washing mountain so quickly @joedenise. When I pulled a muscle in August, the surgery suggested Paracetamol and Ibuprofen and said to go back if it didn't improve and they'd arrange physio. It did improve quite a bit.  I'm still getting the odd twinge but it's mostly cleared up.

Hope you get something you like for a better price at the outlet @Coxy11. I'd resent paying too much for a dress that wasn't the size I like to be. I'd rather spend the money on shoes.😁 I'd like to hear about the chicken supreme too.

We've booked a short break in Glasgow for the beginning of next month. I'm looking forward to it but it will probably mean a few days  eating and drinking largely off plan. I'm wondering whether to go to WI next week so that I don't need to worry. I'll probably weigh at the GP beforehand and see if I'm still in target range.🤔

    Today's plan-
B- HEB toast, HEA milk for drinks, bacon, eggs (P), mushrooms and tomatoes (S)
L- JP with something and salad (P,S,F)
D- smoked haddock (p), mash with spring onions (F,S), green stuff, tomatoes (S)
    Syns- 0

Not sure what to have with my JP. It's too late to defrost prawns so probably cottage cheese or tuna.🤔
