Doh!  Was trying to think of a place with 2 words starting with BW!  Rather you than me - can't stand the place but probably more choice than at Canterbury.

Morning all, Storm Benjamin has certainly made its presence known last night and this morning!  It was absolutely hammering it down but it has just started easing off now.  The wind was so bad last night that it blew over our olive tree in a pot.

If you go to Canterbury or BW @Coxy11 stay safe out there.

Hope those of you with colds are now feeling better and try and rest up and drink plenty of fluids.

I need to go shopping but will probably wait until this afternoon as the rain should have stopped by then.  If I can't get to the shop then I'm going to have to change the menu plan yet again and really don't want to do that!

    Today's plan:

    B - toasted cheese sandwich, pickled onions - HEA2; HEB; S
    L - jacket potato, beans - F
    D - Mediterranean salmon parcel - P; S; F

    HEA1 - milk
    HEA2 - cheese
    HEB - bread
    Syns - none planned

    Have a good day everyone.

    Morning!

Windy here. Poor DH had to go over to the school at midnight as the alarm was going off. It’s half term but the staff who were in yesterday failed to lock a set of doors so it triggered the alarm. Second time it’s happened this week!

I too loathe BW Denise but needs must! Luckily I’m feeling brighter today. Still remnants of a cold but my back is much less sore.

    Food today:
B - banana, toasted protein bagel thin, marmite - free, HEB
L - poke bowl - brown rice, feta, edamame beans, pickles, soy sauce - free, HEA, P, S
D - chilli con carne with rice - free
    HEA - milk
Syns - rice crackers with scraping of soft cheese - 2

Change of plan for lunch!  As we had beans with our jackets on Monday decided we'd have tuna sweetcorn in mayo as topping.  I also opened a tin of diced beetroot to have with it so got in some Speed but also a syn for the mayo.

Pleased to say the rain stopped late morning so managed to get out and do the shopping.  Went to Sainsbugs and got a chicken and pork joint; both have been cut in half to make 2 joints which will be big enough to make 2 meals for both of us.

Just need to go and portion up the chicken thighs I bought and freeze most of them.  Need one lot to marinade for butter chicken tomorrow night.

Thanks for the recipe @Coxy11. I make a version of that but using primula so the sauce is cheesy which we enjoy. Hope you have some success at Blue water.

More amazing bargains @bubbs. I bet that cheered you up. 👍 What's the matter with your shed freezer, is that playing up? 🤔

Glad you got your shopping done @joedenise. It's been better than expected here today so we had a good walk and sat outside for coffee this morning. It's getting cold, windy and wet now though.

I had a bit of mash left over so fried that up with various bits of veg from the fridge and some ham and eggs for lunch. 😋

The Christmas invitations are coming in thick and fast. The dances are OK as I end up driving so no wine syns but other meals out  aren't so SW friendly. I'm still going to check my weight tomorrow but not feeling hopeful. If I have to go back to group for a few weeks after our city break then I'll be OK with it but I'd rather not.

    Today's plan -
B- HEB porridge, HEA milk, blueberries (S), banana (F)
    L- fry up (P, S, F)
    D- sausage casserole with pasta (P, S, F)
    Syns - BGTY sausages 2

My new freezer is 😁 but the one in the shed is not. Fridge is , won't be needing much shopping tomorrow 🤣
I thought you said there was something wrong with it but you probably meant it wasn't full! 🤣
