    Morning all,

Well done at your awards event @Coxy11 🎉 very well deserved x

I was over the moon with a pound off this morning. I think you’re right @maman cutting waaaayyyy back on the alcohol syns might be helping, it’s only taken six months to kick in though 😁.

Today’s image therapy was all about upping your speed intake and making sure a third of any plate was always speed first. In all honesty I don’t think I could eat any more speed! It was interesting though to hear what others do - or dont.

I had a roll HEB, with bacon medallions, mushrooms and tomatoes when I came back. I’m out for a late lunch and having checked the menu think I’m going to have seabass, new potatoes and veg. I’ll also have either a glass of wine or gin and tonic but all within syns 😁

Well done on your loss @Jellybaby.👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 You'd obviously used fewer syns than you thought!👍🏼

Glad to hear the awards evening went well @Coxy11. The food doesn't sound too synful, probably just the sauces and whatever they added to the mash to make it creamy.🤔 You're back on it today, that's what matters most.

You seem to get a good deal with your free electricity @joedenise, very mse. British Gas has the regular half price window on a Sunday but the occasional hours during the week seem to have dried up lately. I've put a line of washing out today though as there's some rain forecast for tomorrow afternoon and the half price doesn't start until 11 o'clock. I'll definitely have the oven and dishwasher on in that time.

I've always been hot on plenty of Speed @Jellybaby but I do average it across the day rather than with every meal. SW is hard for people who don't like veg although my first consultant didn't eat any. She said she'd been traumatised by being made to eat it as a child.🤔 Instead she ate loads of punnets of strawberries before each meal to fill her up so she didn't overeat on carbs. I'm so pleased that SW have moved away from the 'fill your boots' with Free food that they used to push. That never made any sense to me. I always thought if you upped the carbs then you should up the Speed and protein to balance it.

I'm out dancing tonight so will be driving and saving wine syns. I'm taking a fruit platter for the buffet but may take my own salad too. Whatever happens it won't be a synful meal.

The venue is close to the only Morrisons in the city so I'm hoping to go a bit early and see if they have any of their fishcakes. They make a nice change at 2 syns.

    Today's plan-
B- HEB porridge, HEA milk, strawberries, raspberries (S), banana (F)
    L- JP (F), tuna (P), salad (S)
    D- tbc
    Syns- LTL mayo 1, dinner🤔

Well done on your loss @Jellybaby, as @maman says cutting back the alcohol syns obviously works.  Enjoy your meal out, says lovely and low syn too which is a bonus; I love seabass and often choose that if it's on the menu.

Forgot to say well done on the award @Coxy11.  Will pick up the local rag when I go shopping on Tuesday if the current one is out.  Don't always buy it but do occasionally but not sure what day it's published!

Seems you often have buffets when you go dancing @maman; definitely good idea to take your own on plan food as suspect a lot of it will be beige!

I've got the tagine in the oven; the washing machine on a 90 degree drum clean, everything that can be charged is being charged; put the fan heater on to bring the temperature right up so the heating doesn't kick in later so saving some gas there too!  Have also made a cup of tea and will be cooking lunch shortly.  The smart meter is showing the price going up much quicker than usual!!!!

You've got me curious now @joedenise, I'll have to get on to Facebook and take a look. 😁

Most of the buffets at dancing events are 'American supper' food for afternoon tea. People bring healthy things like fruit, tomatoes, cheese, smoked salmon etc but also a lot of cakes and sandwiches. Normally, I just pick at some of the least synful stuff and then eat at home later with DH. As its an evening do today, I'll need something more. DH will feed himself, usually microwave macaroni cheese which I can't stand as it's too sloppy for me.

I'm with you on the fish for eating out, always my first choice. Enjoy your meal @Jellybaby. 😋
