    Morning all,

Feeling a lot better this morning despite not having a great sleep. A few concerns were swirling around in my head but I’ve thought about them as much as I can and made a few decisions so I’m working hard at not allowing them back in!

Last night all the throws were back on the sofas, candles out, heating on for a wee while then hot water bottles appeared 🤣 it’s so cold!

I’ve found pulling soup from the freezer really handy the last few weeks and think I’m going to have a cooking session on Saturday and make more. I’ll visit the butcher too and make more meatballs and burgers.

Ive had 40g Cheerios, apple and yoghurt for breakfast, more of the pea and ham soup from the freezer for lunch and I think I’m going to have a baked potato with tuna and salad for tea to use up bits left in the fridge. Syns for yoghurt and salad cream but well within what I have left.

Glad to hear you're feeling better today @Jellybaby. We've had the heating on for a while most evenings but today has been really sunny, a beautiful Autumn day.

The only Warburton thins that seem to be a HEB are the bagel thins @Coxy11. That's strange as when Aldi did protein sandwich thins they were a HEB. Not sure if Lidl still do them but they disappeared from Aldi a while ago. Lately we've been mostly having the Aldi wholemeal baps and I keep a wholemeal loaf in the freezer just in case we run out.

We've been out with our walking group today and then to the cinema to catch Downton Abbey while it was still on. We really enjoyed it, happy and easy to watch.

On plan today with a fry up for breakfast, JP with cottage cheese and salad for lunch. After the cinema, we had an easy spaghetti Bolognese from the freezer. 😋

    Hello all!

Late one from me as I’ve been to Mums to paint her inner porch. Tiny room but lots of edges and she chose teal, so it’s a bit unforgiving against white paintwork. Took her shopping afterwards and she tried to foist 4 x egg custard tarts on me which I politely refused due to sugar detox plus SW obvs. She is such a feeder.

Annoying about the SWCP protein thins - thanks for checking @maman. I’ve photographed both the bagel and thins pack and only difference is slightly higher fat (0.6g) but less carbs:

I had the roasted vegetables and chicken, grains bowl last night. Dressing included honey so some ‘sugar’ there plus oil of course. Stuck to water. Did 16.7k steps pounding the streets of the West End searching for a frock to no avail ☹️ Didn’t even see anything worth trying on!

    Food today:
    B - mushroom and spinach omelette, satsuma, apple - S, P
    L - LO bolognaise ragu, JP, mixed salad - free, 0.5, S
    D - SW chicken biryani - free
    HEA - milk
    HEB - walnuts(!)
Syns - 0.5 plus 2 x ryvita and scraping of soft cheese - 3.5 total

Many apologies @Coxy11. I'd put thins into the app but the packaging says they're flatbreads. Flatbreads are a HEB. 👍.

    Back soon

I was going to have Fake KFC tonight too @bubbs. I know it's the law on Friday😁 but picked up some YS salmon today and, as I love fish, decided to have that instead.

Funnily enough I have had a problem with one of my freezers. Fortunately I caught it before anything was ruined. The first time, I thought it was because I hung a tea towel on the handle and it must have got caught. Then it happened again (tea towel moved). It's just the top drawer so I'm keeping an eye on it. 🤞

    Today's plan -
B- HEB toast, scrambled eggs (P), tomatoes (S), HEA 1 milk
    L- lentils and veg soup (P, S}, small cottage cheese salad (P, F, S)
D- salmon (P), SW chips (F), green beans, broccoli, garlic mushrooms (S, HEA 2 cheese)
    Syns - weekend wine 😁
