Have a fab holiday @joedenise.  Well done to the other losers and to your gain @bubbs 😁

My car needs urgent work - brakes, tracking, you name it it needs it - and our trusty mechanic told me not to look at holidays until I hear the repair cost 😭 I’m now looking at cars 🤣. Great when they go but bloody awful when they don’t.

I had a soft pitta HEXB with bacon medallions, mushrooms and tomatoes for breakfast followed by a banana (which is a bit random for me) and am in the process of cooking silverside for dinner which we’ll have with potatoes, cabbage, carrots and onion gravy 😋

Annoying about the car @Jellybaby. DH uses DD’s old car for work and twice this week it failed to start. TBH it owes us nothing 04 reg Clio, but it’s cheap to ru - when it runs!!

Sorry missed about your car jelly, my car is old.........160k on the clock, new starter motor, new wiper motor, 2 new wing mirrors , new ball joint and tonnes more last years MOT, but i won't change it till i HAVE to as it's a work horse and a new one would get ruined going back and forth to the unit, especially in the winter months

    Morning everyone,

Weighed in this morning with a 2lb loss. Happy with that. Combination of no sugar, running, upping my water intake and staying on plan. This week I’m out Thursday night and Saturday lunchtime, so slightly more tricky to navigate.

    Food today:
B - toasted protein bagel, poached egg, spinach, mushrooms - HEB, P, S
    L - JP, tuna, mayo, salad, apple - 0.5, P, 2, S
D - tagliatelle carbonara (using LO gammon from the freezer), salad, satsuma - free, P, HEA, S
    HEA - milk
Syns - 2 x rice cakes, scraping of light soft cheese - 3 plus 2.5

Well done on the loss @Coxy11 .  I love carbonara but never think to make it at home. Will definitely be trying this in the coming weeks.

A dull grey day here but it’s dry so used a few hours this morning to clean the windows - inside and out. Looking good but I’m ready for a lie down!

Thanks for all the commiserations on my car. Another fault has been found but hoping by Friday all will be well and although I’ll be much poorer will be able to get out and about again. My knee jerk reaction was to look at cars but like you @bubbs my car is getting on and has over 90k on the clock but it suits my needs for the time being so won’t be getting replaced unless absolutely necessary 🤞

I had a sweet omelette with apple, banana and yoghurt for breakfast, a soft pitta HEXA toasted with cheese HEXA, tomatoes and spring onions and dinner is the silverside and veg leftovers from last night.

@jellybaby tough the car needing so much work, will be great to have the one that you know so well back in commission.
    @Coxy11 great loss.
Feeling cream crackered, but have been on AB's for 4 days so par for the course.
Damp and dull today, going to try and tough a session in the garden, some more cutting back and leaf gathering as it is green bin day tomorrow.

Delighted for you @Coxy11. A 2lb loss is excellent. 👍

Don’t know you if you can make wise choices when you are eating out later in the week, so you're best bet is to have minimal syns for the next few days. 🤞

Green bin day always brings on a rush of gardening here too @maddiemay. 🤣 Hope you feel better soon. 🤗

Ouch to expensive car repairs @Jellybaby. I agree with you about cars. Just like computers, they're great until something goes wrong. ☹️

I made fairly good choices at the dance yesterday. I mostly had fruit, tomatoes and some cheese but I did eat a meringue, half a Scotch egg and a few squares of bread with smoked salmon.

    Today's plan-
B HEB toast, scrambled eggs (P), tomatoes (S), HEA milk for drinks
    L- LO casserole with pickled cabbage (P, F, S)
    S cod (P), cubed potatoes (F), roast veg (S)
    Syns - 0
