Been awol for a while. Life has been busy. Lots of eating out 😳…..some on plan and some not but all, mainly enjoyed and behind me now. We have a relative with dementia….her Dd is the main carer but she has been in and out of hospital so more has fallen on our shoulders. I have mixed feeling about this relative as things haven’t always been the best between us….but she is a sad, lonely old lady now…no there’s relatives and has alienated her few friends. Anyway she enjoys eating out at a pub near her and they do a great midday pensioners meal….everything with chips 😯 The only veg this chain seems to do is peas 😳. If we continue taking her out - (she gets anxious if we bring her to us and doesn’t eat if we try to feed her in her house 🤷🏻‍♀️)…I digress - I’ve told ds I want to go somewhere that at least does jacket potato next time.
I weighed last week and had put 1lb on and another 2 lb this week. I can’t blame it all on eating out with SIL as I baked last weekend and instead of freezing it in portions as I intended….have been tucking in.
I’m going to seaside place with the big tower later to watch some fireworks. I’ve decided I’m not having the usual fish and chips but the cafe we go to goes a lovely home made lasagne. Lots of tomatoes and mushrooms with very little cheese sauce. So I’m having that with salad.
ive just prepped lots of veg and will put the slow cooker on overnight with some gammon, pulses and a  sachet of pinch of nom campfire stew seasoning overnight. Shred it in the morning and that’ll make a fair few meals for the freezer. I’m also going to make a big batch of soup to set me up for the week ahead. I now need to loose 3 1/2 lb to get under my next stone bracket
i saw the physio last week and she suggested trying Pilates so I’ve booked a class on Monday. I need to look up some of the exercises on The nhs app…as I’ve never done Pilates before. Interestingly she told me to steer clear from yoga and tai chi.
    Enjoy the holiday Denise 👍

    Afternoon all 😁

Well done Jelly and Sue 👏👏

Denise have a lovely holiday. Glad you finished the dress.

Well i had a gain but not enough, 1lb, so surprise surprise i am on grace week again 🤣🤣 Yes i had those naughty things last week but i think it's because i am so "on it" other times. I dunno, when i was trying to lose i didn't!!

We had a relief consultant today, she was ok ....but not like are normal one, but she is showing interest in the group so i think she will be our new consultant! We were done and dusted by 9.40! Before the group changed we were lucky to be out at 10.15!

DH is snoring away, he is really full of this flu thing going about.

Had a banana at group and  free picky plate at lunch

Great loss @Jellybaby x Enjoy your dinner!

Good plan to go somewhere with JP’s @milann they are such a life saver. Sounds very difficult with your relative especially given past relationship.

Great loss @Suffolksue and a great idea to pop that money away. I’m doing the Fiver Friday challenge on the DFW forum. Amazing how it mounts up - come join me!!!

Food shop done for the week - will just need to top up fruit and salad. I really enjoyed my cheese pasta at lunchtime. We grew the yellow tomatoes on the patio - they are lovely and sweet.
