Forgot to say when I posted earlier that I portioned up the SC of savoury mince and we had one lot last night with pasta and was very tasty. I've left enough for tomorrow night in the fridge and 2 more bags have gone into the freezer so 8 portions in all. Quite impressed with that for 250g of mince. I put in TVP and lentils as well to up the protein and then plenty of veg - will have to remember to cut the veg smaller next time as even though it was cooked for about 10 hours the carrots and courgettes were only just cooked!

Meatballs here tonight too @Jellybaby!😁😋 That's the last portion so will definitely be making more, probably at the weekend.
I think I inherited most of my sewing and knitting skills from my mother. Unlike me, she was left handed so she taught a leftie friend to knit and her (right handed) mother taught me.
That's a good menu for today @Coxy and positively saintly to donate your glass of wine to your DD.😇
I enjoyed my salad yesterday evening so much that I had it all over again for lunch today as I needed to use up the last of a bag of leaves. I think what made it so delicious was that I tossed it and put it in a lunchbox yesterday in case I had to take it with me. As it happens, the traffic was OK and I ate it at home but mixing it altogether seemed to make it extra tasty.
I washed and tested my new SC yesterday @joedenise, so today I've put Bolognese sauce in. Pleased you got 8 portions out of the 250g of mince by adding in the veg and other proteins. I usually get 8 x 200g portions from mine and sometimes just a small portion as well that I have on a JP.
Today's plan-
B- HEB toast, eggs (P), tomatoes and mushrooms (S), HEA1 milk
L- ham and egg salad with new potatoes (P,F,S)
D- Spaghetti with meatballs in tomato sauce (P,F,S), HEA2 Parmesan
Syns- LTL mayo 10 -
Not sure how much what we had last night was but the other portions are done in 500g bags (2 x 250g) so maybe the red lentils and TVP made quite a difference.
I've finally finished shirring the top for my dress! It seems to have taken ages and quite honestly I was getting fed up with doing it - think there's about 30 rows in total - felt more like 50 rows! Just need to sort out what I'm going to do with the skirt as the fabric I have left is the wrong shape for the pattern I've got. Think it's going to be a case of adding a pleat in the front to make it wider around the bottom so that I can actually walk in it!
If it doesn't work I won't be too upset as the fabric was really cheap in a sale (think it was £1.25/yd so only £3.75 plus some thread and shirring elastic and my time).
