    Morning!

Looks like a damp day today. I’m painting the bathroom woodwork first thing then have an appt in town. Will pick up a couple of bits in Sainsbobs whilst I’m out.

DS2 cooked the meatballs in the AF and they absolutely stunk the kitchen out 🤢 they were okay and 3 were plenty. I had two ryvita with a scraping of light cheese for my TV snack so finished the day on 8 syns.

    Today’s food:
B - banana, toasted protein bagel thin, poached egg, spinach - free, HEB, P, S
L - poke bowl - brown rice, feta, edamame beans, pickles, soy sauce, apple - free, HEA, P, S
D - sweet potatoes loaded with Smokey turkey chilli, satsuma - free, P, S
    HEA - milk
Syns - 2 x rice cakes with scraping of light soft cheese - 3

I’m at the GP today as have an issue with my left ear. Will be good to see what’s possible to (hopefully) improve things.

    Morning all,

Hope the GP appointment goes well @Coxy11

I feel a bit low at the minute, just one thing after another. I have salsa class shortly - thankfully I can walk to - and I’m sure the fresh air and exercise will pick me up (along with laughing at my two left feet)!

Food wise, I’ve had an apple and yoghurt for breakfast as I didn’t feel very hungry, pea and ham soup when I get back, probably a toasted soft pitta with cheese alongside and it’s salmon, chips and loads of roasted veg for dinner.

    Have a good day everyone.

Glad to hear you didn't feel deprived with just 3 meatballs @Coxy11.  Shame about the awful smell though.
I oven cook mine and open freeze, then I can just reheat them in the tomato sauce when needed. Hope the GP can help you.

I find dancing is really good for lifting my mood @Jellybaby, hope the salsa works for you today.  I think it's true of any exercise and it's got to be better for you than comfort eating or drowning your sorrows.😊

Strange that your DH doesn't like corned beef at all @Coxy11, it's not something I've heard of. Mine appears to love it, so much so that he made himself a corned beef sandwich yesterday. As a result there were fewer syns in the hash than planned so I'm counting the LOs as free today.🤣

I'm planning  to make cheese sauce with just HEAs later so will only syn the cornflour.

It's 6 weeks today until I have to go to WI. Assuming that I'm in target then, I can go until the middle of January before the next WI. That's what I try to do most years. I would like to see the new books with the new 'swips' (daft word IMO☹️) and new HEXs but really don't want to go to group over Christmas/New Year. Perhaps I can go but not weigh. Anyone know?🤔

    Today's plan-
B- HEB toast, bacon, egg (P), baked beans (F), some HEA for drinks
L- LO corned beef hash, veg and pickles (P,F,S)
D- gammon (P), SW chips (F), broccoli and cauli cheese (S, HEA cheese and milk)
    Syns- cornflour 1
