You're doing well to get organised after your holiday @joedenise. It always takes a while after you've run the fridge down before going away.

Since our very local Iceland closed down I rarely visit another branch although we have an ordinary one and Food Warehouse within 3 miles. SW members have 10% off every day until the beginning of October, maybe I should take advantage of it.

It's quite a pleasant day here, we've been out for a walk and I've got a dark wash on the line. I'll do bedding tomorrow as we're forecast to have a lovely, sunny warm day before temperatures plummet.

Thanks for the encouragement everyone. I'll keep plodding.😊

    Today's plan-
B- HEB porridge, berries (S), banana (F), HEA milk
L- JP (F), veggie chilli (P,S), beetroot and pickled cabbage (S)
D- savoury mince (P,S), new potatoes, peas (F), carrots, cabbage, cauli and broccoli (S)
    Syns- 0

Thank you @maman.  Trouble is I'd also run the freezer down a bit too.  I bought a big pork joint this morning which I've cut into 3 so one for the weekend and then other 2 have gone in the freezer so that will do for one weekend next month or maybe even 2, otherwise it will be one for next month and one for November.

I tend to buy fish from The Food Warehouse to use in fish pie, frozen fish is fine for that.  Having said that I find frozen salmon pretty good too.  Wonder if I'd get away with 10% on other days as I've got still got my original SW Iceland card from when they first started doing the SW meals!

I've already got the start of a list for next week but there will certainly be more added before Tuesday when I next go.

I'm having my friend's dogs tomorrow as she is going up to London to go to the hospital with her son.  Not sure whether I've said but her house sale has completely fallen through now so she won't be going anywhere.  She's been so stressed with it all and says she can't go through it all again but we'll see.  She's got to put her house back together again now as the removal company had already been in and packed everything up when she was supposed to move at the beginning of August.

Going to get in the washing I did during the free hour's electric - mainly towels.  Hopefully it'll be dry even though it's only been out about an hour and half.

I weighed myself this morning and have stayed the same. I’d hoped to drop into the next stone bracket. Tbh I’m not convinced my scales are working properly as I’ve jumped on several times over the week and they’ve stayed exactly the same each time. There are usually fluctuations from day to day. I’ll try some new batteries as I can’t remember the last time I changed them.
I went out with Dh yesterday. We shared a panini and slice of cake as there wasn’t much that was sw friendly. We did a fair bit of body magic by walking around.
Today I’ve been very tired and really stiff so I’ve chilled. I am going to aqua aerobics later in a hope the water exercise will help.
Breakfast- bacon, mushroom, tomato and egg. 1/2 heb 1 syn for of spread
dinner - hm chicken, veg and lentil soup
tea - cottage pie…..5% mince, mushrooms, tomatoes, celery, carrot, onion, tomato purée, oxo, cornflour 1 syn. Potatoes, butter 1 syn
snacks - banana, satsuma, kitkat 6 syns?  Hea cheese and apple.
Well done on getting the holiday washing sorted.

Morning all, it's looking to be a nice day today.  We have lovely blue skies, very little breeze and it feels quite warm.

Going to pick up my friend's dogs after breakfast and have them here until she gets home sometime this afternoon.  Fortunately they're good as gold when they're here.  They're better behaved here than they are at home!  Think they know I won't have any nonsense from them whereas she spoils them all the time!

Have a safe trip home @bubbs.  Your time away seems to have gone really quickly.  Glad you've had a good time and have enjoyed your treats.

It was normal WI day today and have lost 1.2lb since Tuesday so can only assume a lot of it was water retention.  Hopefully the rest of it will come off fairly quickly but we'll see!

    Today's plan:

    B - porridge, fruit - HEB; S; F
    L - bacon & mushroom omelette - P; S
    D - mushroom stroganoff, rice - HEA2; S; F

    HEA1 - milk
    HEA2 - Primula
    HEB - porridge
Syns - none planned but may have a G&T or 2 tonight if I fancy it 6?

    Have a good day everyone.

Well done on your loss @joedenise. You're right it's probably mostly water retention from flying but it's gone!!👍🏼

It's a glorious day here, wall to wall sunshine and really warm. Bedding is out on the line and probably dry by now.

STS is better than nothing but I'd definitely try new batteries @milann, you don't want to be cheated out of a new stone bracket!🤣 I don't have scales at home becasue I can't trust myself to not be weighing constantly. What I do is go to SW for an official WI every 8 weeks (or more often if I have a large holiday gain☹️) and use the scales at my GP's surgery in between. They have all singing, all dancing scales in the waiting room especially so people can check their weight.

I've done my meal plan for the week and will shop after lunch.

    Today's plan-
B- HEB toast, eggs (P), mushrooms and tomatoes (S), HEA milk
    L- Bubble & Squeak with pickles (F,S)
D- Fake KFC (P), SW chips (F), using up various veg (S)
    Syns- weekend wine😁

    Hi all,

Well done on the loss @joedenise and safe travels home @bubbs

I have an aunt who always says sharing is caring when eating out with her friend  😀 @milann

Weather is absolutely abysmal here - the rain battered off my bedroom window throughout the night so I’m tired and grumpy today (nothing new according to DS2 🙄).

I had banana and coffee when I got up and about to have a veggie omelette for lunch. Home alone tonight so I’m having my favourite chips and beans for tea; easily pleased 🤣

I feel fat and bloated and not looking forward to the scales tomorrow as it could be another dreaded gain. I will definitely go but not looking forward to it.

I was a bit annoyed, i never have time off group, told her i wasn't there for 2 weeks, they are short tomorrow on social team, as 2 others are on holiday as well, yes i am home, but no i am not going tomorrow,( she does not know i am home)  she calls me out on the fb page am i there? I just replied 4 hrs later, as hadn't seen it as was driving home, no i am not sorry. Yet doesn't ask the others that are off!!

Glad you had a good run home.  You must have been starving by this evening.  That doesn't seem much to be eating for a day.  Bet you're looking forward to your strawberries and ice cream tonight!

Can't say I blame you being annoyed with your consultant, I would be too.  Glad you told her you're not home especially as you'd told her you were off for 2 weeks.

Good idea to give yourself a week on plan to shift any weight put on with the "treats" this week!
