You're doing well to get organised after your holiday @joedenise. It always takes a while after you've run the fridge down before going away.

Since our very local Iceland closed down I rarely visit another branch although we have an ordinary one and Food Warehouse within 3 miles. SW members have 10% off every day until the beginning of October, maybe I should take advantage of it.

It's quite a pleasant day here, we've been out for a walk and I've got a dark wash on the line. I'll do bedding tomorrow as we're forecast to have a lovely, sunny warm day before temperatures plummet.

Thanks for the encouragement everyone. I'll keep plodding.😊

    Today's plan-
B- HEB porridge, berries (S), banana (F), HEA milk
L- JP (F), veggie chilli (P,S), beetroot and pickled cabbage (S)
D- savoury mince (P,S), new potatoes, peas (F), carrots, cabbage, cauli and broccoli (S)
    Syns- 0

Thank you @maman.  Trouble is I'd also run the freezer down a bit too.  I bought a big pork joint this morning which I've cut into 3 so one for the weekend and then other 2 have gone in the freezer so that will do for one weekend next month or maybe even 2, otherwise it will be one for next month and one for November.

I tend to buy fish from The Food Warehouse to use in fish pie, frozen fish is fine for that.  Having said that I find frozen salmon pretty good too.  Wonder if I'd get away with 10% on other days as I've got still got my original SW Iceland card from when they first started doing the SW meals!

I've already got the start of a list for next week but there will certainly be more added before Tuesday when I next go.

I'm having my friend's dogs tomorrow as she is going up to London to go to the hospital with her son.  Not sure whether I've said but her house sale has completely fallen through now so she won't be going anywhere.  She's been so stressed with it all and says she can't go through it all again but we'll see.  She's got to put her house back together again now as the removal company had already been in and packed everything up when she was supposed to move at the beginning of August.

Going to get in the washing I did during the free hour's electric - mainly towels.  Hopefully it'll be dry even though it's only been out about an hour and half.

I weighed myself this morning and have stayed the same. I’d hoped to drop into the next stone bracket. Tbh I’m not convinced my scales are working properly as I’ve jumped on several times over the week and they’ve stayed exactly the same each time. There are usually fluctuations from day to day. I’ll try some new batteries as I can’t remember the last time I changed them.
I went out with Dh yesterday. We shared a panini and slice of cake as there wasn’t much that was sw friendly. We did a fair bit of body magic by walking around.
Today I’ve been very tired and really stiff so I’ve chilled. I am going to aqua aerobics later in a hope the water exercise will help.
Breakfast- bacon, mushroom, tomato and egg. 1/2 heb 1 syn for of spread
dinner - hm chicken, veg and lentil soup
tea - cottage pie…..5% mince, mushrooms, tomatoes, celery, carrot, onion, tomato purée, oxo, cornflour 1 syn. Potatoes, butter 1 syn
snacks - banana, satsuma, kitkat 6 syns?  Hea cheese and apple.
Well done on getting the holiday washing sorted.

Morning all, it's looking to be a nice day today.  We have lovely blue skies, very little breeze and it feels quite warm.

Going to pick up my friend's dogs after breakfast and have them here until she gets home sometime this afternoon.  Fortunately they're good as gold when they're here.  They're better behaved here than they are at home!  Think they know I won't have any nonsense from them whereas she spoils them all the time!

Have a safe trip home @bubbs.  Your time away seems to have gone really quickly.  Glad you've had a good time and have enjoyed your treats.

It was normal WI day today and have lost 1.2lb since Tuesday so can only assume a lot of it was water retention.  Hopefully the rest of it will come off fairly quickly but we'll see!

    Today's plan:

    B - porridge, fruit - HEB; S; F
    L - bacon & mushroom omelette - P; S
    D - mushroom stroganoff, rice - HEA2; S; F

    HEA1 - milk
    HEA2 - Primula
    HEB - porridge
Syns - none planned but may have a G&T or 2 tonight if I fancy it 6?

    Have a good day everyone.
