It was really warm and windy yesterday and everything was drying within an hour or so - brilliant to have got all the washing done. Definitely very damp today!
Shame about the STS @maman. Keep plodding as @beanielou says!
I have just finished doing the freezer inventory and as expected not much in there in the way of meals apart from a couple of curries and a jerk vegetarian dish. Still got some of the confit duck which we brought back from France in the summer plus half a crispy duck. If I remember rightly the confit duck is about 8 syns. No idea about the crispy duck with pancakes and hoisin sauce. Would be grateful if someone could look up syns for me if they are actually on the app?
I definitely need to buy some meat only got enough chicken thighs for one meal, some more sausages, a couple of burgers and the above mentioned duck dishes! Definitely need to buy some mince and stewing beef. Also want to get some salmon fillets and some white fish fillets so that I can make some fish pies.

There's a Tesco duck with pancakes and hoisin sauce that's 34 syns for a 510g pack @joedenise and a Waitrose confit that's 8.5 for 250g. HTH
Yes, I will plod on but it's so infuriating. I'm determined to get back to my target however long it takes.
Today's plan -
B- HEB Puffed Wheat, HEA1 milk
L- Spanish omelette and pickles (P, S, F)
D- spaghetti with meatballs in tomato sauce (P, S, F), HEA 2 Parmesan
Syns - 0

Oh booo Maman, next week 😁
We have been the Eden camp before and will go again when we goto the 1940's weekend as it is near there.
We went to Scarborough had a mooch about, stopped for a few cuppas 😁 no fish and chips, cake etc. We went into Dunem, i really miss ours since the fire. I bought a summer duvet for £3.50 😁 and some pink stuff laundry detergent , reduced r=to £137 for 30 washes, got 4 of those.
Had fruit earlier, i have had BLT roll and chips for tea, really enjoyed it for a change, so been a good girl today 🤣
Jelly you will be better off without your "friend" by the sounds of it.

Well done on having a SW day on holiday @bubbs and you found some bargains so a home from home! 🤣
There's a lot of detail for the Farmfoods duck on the app @joedenise. For the 450g pack there's 9 for the sauce (or half for a tsp), 18 syns for 12 pancakes and 19.5 for the duck. It'll take some working out! 🤣0 -
If I have half of everything it works out at 23.5 syns! Think I might have to reduce the amount I have! Perhaps have tsp sauce per pancake so 2 syns per pancake so if I have 4 that's 8; then about third of the duck for 7 syns and then it will just about be within syns! Think I've worked that out right.
I tried doing it using the syns you provided earlier of the Tesco duck/pancakes and it worked out at 15 syns for half of everything!
I'll have to decide on the day whether to have half of everything for 23.5 syns or stick with 4 pancakes and have 15 syns and let DH have the extra!0 -
Perhaps you could supplement your portion with some cucumber sticks and black/red beans to cut down on the duck @joedenise?🤔0
-
I'll definitely be adding cucumber sticks and spring onions. Can't say I'd be keen to add beans as well!0

Will go again next Tuesday so I can make use of the 10% discount at The Food Warehouse.

L - avocado with prawns; scallop and salad - P; S; 3.5
D - toad in the hole, roast potatoes, veg - S; F; 6.5
HEA1 - milk
HEA2 - cheese
HEB - bread
Syns - avocado 3.5; sausages 2; flour 4.5
