Hope you got home OK last night @joedenise.

That's a good idea to keep some veg stock for soup @milann. I've never thought of doing that. I do take some out of veg while it's cooking when I make garlic mushrooms, and the same with the starchy pasta water when I need to thin down a sauce but will remember to keep some for soup in future. Oh and, of course, I always keep the stock from boiling a gammon joint for lentil soup. That's delicious, lentil soup never tastes as good without it.😋

I've been out for a walk this morning and dancing tonight but despite the Body Magic and sticking 100% to plan this week  (I've still got 29 syns left)I don't feel any thinner. I only need a half pound loss to get back into range but not confident this will be the week.🤔

    Today's plan-
B- HEB toast, HEA1 milk, scrambled eggs, ham (P), tomatoes (S)
L- LO savoury rice and pickles (P,S,F)
    D- Spaghetti Bolognese (P,S,F), HEA2 Parmesan
    Syns- none planned

@maman so frustrating being that near to being back in range. Not decided about WI tomorrow, digestive system being pesky TMI but can easily have a 2lb variance, would lose focus if WI on an up day, no need to go for another 4 weeks, but would like to try group again as I really like the consultant, although most of original group stayed same time new consultant so not in tune with morning group. He is pleasant chap, but bit hyper.

Afternoon all, it's been a busy, busy day!  We got home OK last night but had about an hour delay on the flight.  The pilot made up most of the time but when we got back to Gatwick it was too busy to land so had to circle for about 10 minutes or so so still about half hour late landing.  We didn't go to Spoons in the end - DH said if you're just going to have a jacket we might just as well go to Morries and pick up some baking potatoes so that's what we did.  Also picked up some eggs and a loaf for breakfast this morning.

Went to Tesco's this morning to get some more shopping but still not sure what we're going to be eating beyond tomorrow.  I really must do a freezer inventory to see what HM ready meals there are (I know there's at least 2 or 3 curries and a mixed bean goulash but beyond that I'm not sure).  I know there's some sausages, chicken thighs and a couple of packs of mince.

Apart from shopping this morning I've been doing all the holiday washing - 3 loads washed, dried and put away.  4th load on the line and 5th in the machine and that will be all of it done.  It's so blowy everything is drying really quickly.  It makes a change not having to take several days to wash and dry the washing.  I think I might even get the final load out shortly.

I'm sure you'll shift that half pound this week @maman to get back into range.  Shame you don't feel any thinner though.

I weighed this morning and not put on quite as much I thought!  5lb not the half stone plus I thought it was likely to be.  Still going to take me some time to shift.  Only 3 months to go until our next holiday!!!

    Today's plan:

B - cheesy scrambled eggs, toast - part HEA; P; HEB (bit of cheese left over from jacket potatoes last night)
    L - burger, onions, soft pitta - 6.5
    D - chicken dhanksak, rice, mango chutney - P; S; 3

    HEA - milk
    HEA2 - cheese (part)
    HEB - bread

    Syns - burger 0.5; soft pitta 6; chutney 3

Hope everyone has had a good day.

PS. The final load is out on the line so all washing done!

Morning all, hopefully today will be a bit more "normal".  Glad I got all the washing washed, dried and put away yesterday as we had loads of rain overnight and looking like we're likely to have more over the next few hours.  Still need to go out as bought something for DD1 and I also need to send back a pair of sandals I bought before our holiday and didn't get round to returning before our holiday (not a good idea ordering stuff like that just before a holiday!).

Sounds like you're enjoying your holiday @bubbs and especially the F&C!  Glad to hear that Mrbubbs managed not to fall when he tripped up the kerb yesterday.  I did what he did while we were away tripped on an even paving slab and then sort of carried on running and arms going like windmills but at least I didn't fall!  How long are you away for?

I've said to DH when we book any more holidays we ought to just go B&B or SC rather than AI in future (although we've already booked 3 AI holidays over the next couple of years).  I probably wouldn't put as much weight on if we went SC as wouldn't drink as much!  I'm sure that's where most of the weight came from.

I've got another pre diabetic thing this afternoon/evening starting at 4.45 for about an hour so have had to change what I had planned for tonight as will need something quick with not getting home until about 6 so rummaged in the freezer first thing and found something which will only take about 15-20 minutes so we'll be able to eat at a reasonable time.

    Today's food:

    B - bacon and mushroom sandwich - HEB; P; S; 1.5
    L - minced beef hash - P; S; F
    D - sweet and sour pork, noodles - P; S; F

    HEA - milk
    HEB - bread
    Syns - LF spread 1.5

    Have a good day everyone.

    Morning

Denise,  it's raining here today,  we was going Bridlington,  well will perhaps still will but not on the sea front 🤣
Might mooch around see what the shops have to offer, see if I can find some bargains 🤣
Dh said bet you haven't put much on, yes I've had fish and chips, weekend I did have some chocolate,  but in the evening just had a ham salad roll, bag of crisps and fruit.

    We leave Friday.

I have done the washing up to date, left on airer overnight to dry, packed in the case, just iron when I get home😁

We didn't book for October again as when we looked the next night the cottage had gone up £100!! So we are going to keep an eye for next year's date and book a week then.

Hope you manage to find some bargains - you usually manage to find some somewhere.  You're definitely a champion bargain hunter.

Enjoy your last couple of days.

Hi folks, I’ve had a busy few days dealing with some challenging behaviour. In short, ‘the friend’ is no more and I’m back to my happy self.

Good you had a great time away @joedenise you obviously made good choices.

Hope WI went well for you @maman

I tried out a salsa class this morning at a local community hall. It was fun and proved I have two left feet 🤣🤣 but I promised to go back.

Food wise, the usual fruit and yoghurt for breakfast, lentil soup for lunch with a soft pitta stuffed with ham and salad. DS2 is making Katsu curry for dinner tonight. He’s already warned me there will be syns for breadcrumbs and the sauce but I should have enough spare.

Sorry the 'friend' gave you grief @Jellybaby but you do sound quite upbeat now. Enjoy the curry tonight and having DS cook it!😋

You did really well to get all the holiday washing done yesterday @joedenise, especially as today is damp and definitely not drying weather. I expect you've been too busy to do a freezer inventory yet but you're still managing to dig things out until you get around to it.

The fish and chips sound delicious @bubbs. If the weather isn't kind to you , is Eden Camp anywhere near you? I've not been there myself but friends tell me it's worth a visit.

Sadly, the scales weren't kind to me today. I had STS again!☹️☹️😡☹️☹️

My consultant offered to fix my target where I am now but I really don't want to. Back later with today's menu.
