Afternoon all,
Popped into town for a mooch around the shops and managed to pick up some yellow sticker chicken breasts and prawns in M&S - all bagged up and in the freezer now.
Food today is all on plan - fruit and yoghurt for breakfast, chicken salad and pickles for lunch and it’s Morrisons fish cakes with loads of roasted veg for dinner. Think I’ve used about 5.5 syns so far.0 -
@Jellybaby doh to the2llbs, hopefully you will see that off this coming week.
@maman is it a dancing club that you go to?
We bumped into friends on our walk and as we had been running a little late did not manage to be home before the rain, but were only damp not soaked.
Dark, deary and raining now, so little water in the river and really need an awful lot more, forecast looks better for the end of the week though, hopefully will be able to do a little gardening, but it looks as if the green bin will not have much in for Tuesday morning collection - not at all MSE

Oh no - to conjunctivitis and dhs fall Bubbs. At least you’ve got it over with and it can only get better from now on. I’m guessing it a bit blowy at Scarborough. Some good bargains there from M&S Jellybaby.
Ive had a couple of busy days and have been out at night 2 nights in a row….unheard of. I stayed away from alcohol and had blackcurrant and soda. I’ve found alcohol makes me sweat uncontrollably and it’s put me right off. I’ve been counting them as 2 syns each…..think that’s what I remember cordial being. I’ve also gone off diet drinks 🥴 I’d been trying hard to cut down on UPF and hadn’t had a cola for months then I succumbed and it tasted awful to me…..
i went over my syns yesterday as we ate out and I had a couple of sandwiches and piece of birthday cake. I’ll try a couple of syn free or very low syn days to make up for it.Was it Maman who was going to spoons and hoping for steak and salad. I know all the spoons near here have stopped doing the steaks and I’m gutted as it used to be my go to. Hope you’re not disappointed 🤞
I'm hoping to go for a swim in the morning, then it’s a big tidy up and catch up on housework, before a telephone consultation with doc from hospital.January spends - £587.580 -
Evening all 😁
Thanks all about DH, he is stiff when he's sat a while but hobbled about Pickering ok 😂 by eye is alot better , not right but not as crusty.
Milann, Scarborough was ok yesterday, just had 1 heavy shower, forgot to sy we stood on the harbour watching the dolphins 😁
Goggled to find a nice carvery, off we toddle (in the car) had raving reviews , get there, not one car in the car park! DH goes this does not look good, then we see a notice, shut till 17th 😂 so we google again off we toddle, this car park is full, good sign! Not booked and no tables 🤣 we ended up in Brewyers fair, it was ok....
We are pondering booking 10-12th Oct to go Pickering 1940's weekend, we stumbled on it before when we came a couple of yrs ago but it was the last day, this cottage is available , we have not decided yetSealed pot challenge number 003 £350 for 2015, 2016 £400 Actual£345, £400 for 2017 Actual £500:T:T £770 for 2018 £1295 for 2019:j:j spc number 22 £1,457Stopped Smoking 22/01/15:D:D::dance::dance:- 5 st 1 1/2lb :dance:0 -
Bubbs the 1940 s weekend sounds great. We keep saying we’re going to do the steam train in that area but haven’t made it yet. We got as far as the carpark and couldn’t find a parking place once and then waved to the passengers as the train went without us 🥴😂 I’d be tempted to go for it if you can get the cottage.January spends - £587.580

Milann what we saw before when we were here was great, there was live music in the streets, everyone dressed up, cars etc.
We went on the steam train to Whitby last time we came this area 😁
Tomorrow we are going to Thirsk, never been there before.Sealed pot challenge number 003 £350 for 2015, 2016 £400 Actual£345, £400 for 2017 Actual £500:T:T £770 for 2018 £1295 for 2019:j:j spc number 22 £1,457Stopped Smoking 22/01/15:D:D::dance::dance:- 5 st 1 1/2lb :dance::dance:0 -

It was me who said about going to Spoons. Looks like it will have to be a jacket then!0 -
Sorry but didn't post yesterday. I do hope your DH is coping with his knee @bubbs and it's not spoiling your holiday.
I go to dance classes midweek @maddiemay but at weekends local groups host social dances. It's all good Body Magic! 🤣
It was my DH's birthday yesterday. He didn't want to do anything special so just went to ⚽, came home to visitors and cake. I still have best part of 30 syns left for next two days but unlikely to use them.
Today's plan -
B- HEB toast, eggs, bacon (P), baked beans (F)
L- savoury rice (P, S, F)
D- cod (P), SW chips (F), veg (S)
Syns - none planned0
