Morning all,
Well done on the loss @joedenise 👏👏 . Well done to other losers too, did read back but it was late last night and my brain is still tired 🤣
I had a fab few days away. Despite going with my DB and his family, I actually spent a fair bit of time on my own as we all wanted to do different things. As much as I love them, id have strangled my SIL! Must be in the air Denise 🤣
They also eat a lot! I think I did well, eating lots of fish and salads. Clean jeans on this morning and they’re less snug than usual so fingers crossed.
Back to normal eating today and I’ve just finished fruit and yoghurt for breakfast, I’m taking mum to a hospital appointment over lunch time so may have soup out, and it’s good old meatballs and spaghetti for dinner. The visitors decided to stay an extra few days in Tobermory so I can potter around to my hearts content.

Congratulations @joedenise! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼You must be thrilled. I know I would be.
Flora Lighter is 1.5 for 10g.
Well done for having fish and salads @Jellybaby and it's a bonus having a few days free of visitors to get back on plan. Hope it shows up on Saturday.🤞🏼
We had the last of the meatballs from the freezer last night so need to make more. In fact, except for a few portions of chilli, I'm right out of HM ready meals. I need to get some batch cooking done PDQ. Now it's the football season again, I can get back into a routine. I usually do batch cooking when there's an away match on the radio. 😁
How are you getting on @beanielou? Any lbs shifted yet?🤔
WI for me tonight. I'd be delighted if I could lose a pound but fear that last week's anniversary meals may have caught up. We'll see.🤔🤞🏼
To digress, just wanted to confirm how amazing my GP's surgery is. The leg muscle that I strained a few weeks ago isn't any better so I thought I'd ask advice. I phoned earlier and they apologised that they had no appointments this morning so could I go at 2pm this afternoon!! I'm not expecting any instant remedies but just want to be sure I'm not aggravating it. Hope you get on well at the clinic @joedenise, so many things can affect BP.
Today's plan-
B- HEB toast, eggs, bacon (P), baked beans (F), HEA milk for drinks
L- small ham salad (P,S)
D- cod (P), SW chips, mushy peas (F), green stuff, tomatoes and mushrooms (S)
Syns- 00 -
Thanks for the syns for the Flora @maman - I thought it was probably 1.5 for 10g which is all I have on my couple of slices of bread. Good luck for WI this evening and hopefully your anniversary meal won't have decided to catch up this week!
BP was OK at the surgery it was under the magic 140 that they look for so that was OK. It's never that high when I do it at home - it's usually in the 128s but I think they make allowances for being in the surgery.
DH's BP was fine too although she's a bit concerned about his bruising especially as one of them bled recently and told him to make an appointment to see one of the GPs so we stopped at reception on the way out and he's got an appointment for 5pm this evening. Certainly wouldn't have happened at our old surgery.
We've both got to have blood tests; we drove to the hospital where they have a walk in clinic but it was heaving so we're going to leave it until tomorrow or Thursday when hopefully it will be a bit quieter.
Forgot to say thanks to @bubbs for the new HEB bake at home rolls. Certainly handy to keep in the freezer and make a change from a sandwich!

Evening all
We had rain this morning but turned into a beautiful day, there was a beautiful rainbow, i took a picture but not had time to look at it since 🤣
Well done Denise 👏. Also those rolls are usually long dated you wouldn't have to freeze them i wouldn't have thought.
Maman hope WI went ok 🙏

No @bubbs, WI didn't go well at all. ☹️ I gained a pound so now 2lbs out of range. It's probably last week's anniversary meals catching up.
DH tried to cheer me up. He's right, I don't look overweight and my clothes fit. I just feel better when I know I'm in target.
Tomorrow, we're meeting DD2 for lunch/brunch and then going to the cinema. I'll do my best to choose wisely but life just gets in the way sometimes.
The good news is that my consultant starts a new morning class next week which I much prefer. 👍0 -
Morning all, another fairly bright day and forecast to be the last dry day until Sunday so getting another couple of loads washed and dried (hopefully) before the forecast rain, although likely only showers but it's a pain when you've got washing on the line isn't it? Never sure whether to leave it out and hope for the best or bring it in and dry indoors. Will get the bedding done today as well so won't need to do that when we come back, at least not immediately! There will be enough from the holiday to contend with.
Sorry to hear you had a gain @maman and that anniversary meal seemed to catch up with you. As long as it's only a lunch out this week I'm sure you'll be able to shift at least that lb even if not the other one you're out of range but hopefully that will go soon too. Morning WIs are so much better than evening as you're definitely heavier at night so your consultant starting a new moving class next week will be a good thing.
Sounds like a new waffle maker is needed @bubbs as you seem to use it quite a bit for both sweet and savoury waffles so worth the money.
So today's plan:
B - toasted cheese sandwich - HEA2; HEB
L - stuffed peppers - S; F; 6
D - Fakeaway KFC, chips, beans, corn on the cob - P; S; 1.5
HEA1 - milk
HEA2 - cheese
Syns - cheese 6; LF spread 1.5
Have a good day everyone.0 -
Morning all, weather back to our usual rain here! In fact, the next two days is forecast heavy rain and thunder spells ☹️
Sorry about the gain @maman but at least you know where it’s come from and enjoyed it. You’ll have it off in no time.
Im now wondering if I need a waffle maker @bubbs 😎 I’m loving the sound of cheese waffles but how do you make the sweet ones?I’m just having a coffee and banana as not hungry enough for breakfast and I’m out to a local coffee shop for lunch with a few friends. Will probably have soup and a small sandwich combo. Then tonight I’m at another friends house for a few glasses of wine - third time in months I’ve had alcohol 😇 so syns there but may be less than I’m currently allowing. My trip to Madrid that had to be rescheduled is now at the beginning of October but I’m having a browse to see if I can get a few days somewhere warm in the next few weeks. Flights are sooo expensive though!0
