That sounds delicious @bubbs. 😋 While I'm not really one for puddings, I do like mincemeat, usually confined to licking the spoon when making mince pies for DH. 🤣

Morning all, I'm cream crackers already!  Just spent the last hour moving furniture around in the living room 'cos DH was complaining his chair was uncomfortable, mine was fine so now we've swapped over the chairs and sofa so will now be seating on the sofa rather than individual chairs.  Biggest problem with the sofa for me is that it's too high and I can't reach the floor so end up having to sit with my feet up.

So not done much so far this morning as my DSis also phoned so was on the phone for an hour with her so that's basically the morning gone.

Just going to have a cuppa and won't be far off time to start on cooking lunch!

Did you really have to remind us of that @bubbs!  Don't mind really 'cos we're going to be on holiday again then!

I ended up using my 2nd HEA yesterday for an iced coffee, was very nice as the weather was quite warm.

    Today's plan:

    B - porridge, strawberries - HEB; S
    L - minced beef hash - P; S; F
    D - corned beef, beans, chips - F; 4

    HEA - milk
    HEB - porridge
    Syns - corned beef 4

    Have a good day everyone.

I know the sewing machine shop in Whitstable…it’s walking distance from a relatives house. I visit fairly often. I used to get some lovely things from the wool shop on the high street there and I was sorry when it shut down. Love the shops there as until very recently they were pretty much independent…..just wish it wasn’t a 6 hour drive from me 😳 Family from there are heading my way tomorrow 😀
Breakfast - heb toast, hm low sugar gooseberry jam and butter approx 5 syns
dinner - leftover roast beef, carrots, swede and cabbage with gravy. 3 syns….i only have a splash of gravy which is liquidised veg and juices from the slow cooker yesterday with a bit of cornflour to stabilise it.
Tea - beef, 30g cheddar cheese, picky salad bits
snacks - skinny crunch bar 3 syns, jelly 1/2 syn, fruit.
It’s hot here again today. I was out pottering in the garden earlier but came in to cool down and I’ll head out again later when the temperature drops. It’s getting dark so much earlier…..
Joedenise….im tired thinking about what you e done this morning.

To be fair DH done most of the moving furniture, I moved one of the chairs and he moved the other but the sofa he mainly did by himself although once is was turned I just pushed from one end while he moved the other end round into place!  Having said that I did most of the vacuuming when we moved the furniture - amazing how much dust accumulates in quite. a short time.

You seemed to have drawn the short straw there @joedenise, swapping your comfy chair for the sofa. At least you'll be forced to put your feet up. 🤣

Hope your visitors like SW meals @milann. 😁

It's hot and sunny here today. 🤞this isn't the last of the summer.

    Today's plan -
B- HEB toast, eggs (P), mushrooms and tomatoes (S), HEA 1 milk for drinks
    L- LO chicken casserole (P, S, F)
D- meatballs and spaghetti in tomato sauce (P, S, F), HEA 2 Parmesan
    Syns - 0

Absolutely @maman.  Just hope we don't get a power cut though when I've got my feet up and I need to go to the loo!  I much preferred our old sofa as that had manual foot rests.

I've finally finished the shorts and they look pretty good.  Will give them a wash when I next do a colours load which should help the hem lay a bit better.

Morning all, not quite as warm this morning but there's plenty of blue sky and it's forecast to reach mid 20s which is a nice temperature.

Have got a nurse appointment for a blood pressure review.  I've been doing readings over the last week and my readings are really erratic.  This morning's was a good one but last night was quite a bit higher - I put it down to being on the phone to my sister for an hour - she always seems to stress me out!  I get fed up with how good her DD is and how brilliant her grand daughters are!  It's all about her and her family, I hardly get a world in edgeways!

Anyway back to SW stuff.  I did what you're not supposed to do and jumped on the scales this morning and I am finally BACK IN TARGET RANGE only by about half lb but I'm there.  Hopefully I can keep it off and a bit more by Friday morning WI.

    Today's plan:

    B - bacon sandwich - HEB; P; 1.5
    L - cheese and spring onion omelette - HEA2; P; S
    D - mixed bean goulash, rice - P; S; F

    HEA1 - milk
    HEA2 - cheese
    HEB - bread
Syns - LF spread 1.5 (can someone check the syns for Flora Lighter for me - it's 25 cals per 10g portion)

    Have a good day everyone.
