Change of plan!  DH decided to be helpful and do breakfast while I was hanging out the washing and misread the menu plan on the fridge!  He thought it was bacon sandwich so that's what we had.  It actually works out better as now I don't need to syn the cheese at lunchtime so saved me 6 syns!!!

We'll just have the toasted cheese sandwich tomorrow instead.

Not had bubble and squeak for ages.  Must try and remember to save some veg and potatoes to make some - but not until after my holiday now!

Hope you don't have to wait too long for your waffle/doughnut maker.  You'd be lost without it for too long!

I deliberately do loads of extra veg to make bubble & squeak or a hash for my lunches. 😋

Hope you do manage to get away somewhere warm @Jellybaby but I expect it won't be too bad in Madrid. We had a holiday in Malta in early October. We intended a city break but it was warm enough to swim in the sea. Last minute packages may be better value than flight only. 🤔

That makes a change for Joe to save syns @joedenise. 🤣

It's rained here on and off @bubbs but not as much as was forecast.

Thanks all for the words of encouragement but I don't think this will be the week to lose anything. We've had a lovely day out and the film (Thursday Murder Club) was very enjoyable. Lunch was one of those places that serve sourdough with everything! I had a full English and gave DH the sausage. I did eat the bread and the black pudding because I like it. 😋

Tomorrow we're out in the evening. I've decided to enjoy my meal and then draw the line.

Other meals today have been on plan so I'm not completely off the rails. 🤣

Afternoon all, where has the day gone?  Well I had a waxing appointment at 10 and then needed to go to Sittingbourne Hospital for DH and I to have blood tests done.  By the time we got home it was time to cook lunch so at least I do know where the morning went so nothing done indoors.

Glad you haven't got to wait too long to get your new waffle/donut maker @bubbs and you'll be able to start making them again.

We had a bit of rain overnight but nothing much - the water butts in the garden are still virtually empty and don't reach the taps to be able to fill the watering cans!  So it's a case of filling them from the tap.

Hope you find somewhere warm for a break @Jellybaby.  There's lots of places to choose from.

Enjoy your meal out tonight @maman and get that line drawn from tomorrow.

It's WI for me tomorrow and I'm hoping the 0.5 I'd lost earlier in the week has still gone although at the GP surgery I weighed bang on target rather than that 0.5lb inside so who knows.  I've not been 100% on plan this week - including having a couple of double choc fresh cream eclairs - they were quite small though so hopefully not too much damage done.

    Today's plan:

    B - bacon omelette - P
    L - fajitas - HEB; P; S; 1.5
    D - toad in the hole, potatoes, veg - S; F; 2

    HEA - milk
    HEB - SW wrap
    Syns - sauce 1.5; sausages 2

Need to get off the laptop later as DH needs it for a physio video call at 2.30.

    Have a good day everyone.

Morning all, weather is horrible this morning.  We had rain overnight and this morning we've had several very heavy showers but of that horrible rain that is really fine but absolutely soaks you if you get stuck in it!

Where did everyone get to yesterday!  I seem to have been the only who posted.

Nothing much going on today other than taking the motorhome to the garage later but can't do that until this afternoon once the rain stops as windscreen wipers have packed up - that's one of the things the garage are going to sort out.  He'll have a couple of weeks to sort the motorhome out while we're away and even if he hasn't sorted it out by then it won't matter as we haven't got any trips away in it planned.

WI this morning not quite as good as when I weighed midweek (probably bacause DH opened shortbread fingers last night and I had some!) but I am pleased to say I am still I target range (only just but that's OK!).

    Today's food:

    B - porridge, mixed frozen fruit - HEB; S
L - cottage pie, veg - P; S; F (needed to find something in freezer as what I'd planned I haven't got the stuff in to make it! so small portions of this found in freezer that are only suitable for lunch not main meal!)
    D - baked sea bass, potatoes, veg - P; S; F; 2.5

    HEA - milk
    HEB - porridge
Syns - butter on potatoes 2.5

    Have a good day everyone.

Sorry to leave you on your own yesterday @joedenise.🤗

I didn't post in the day because was unsure how my evening would turn out, then we gave a friend a lift and got home later than usual.

Glad you're still in range by however small a  margin👍🏼. I would be happy with right at the top and then work from there. I'm sure you intend to enjoy your holiday in Bulgaria but let's hope you have the option to choose wisely if you want to from the AI buffet.🤞🏼

We had heavy rain overnight but it's dry and sunny now although forecast says it could rain at any time in the next week! I think you're going away at the right time. 😁

My food was reasonably SW friendly yesterday. Fry up for breakfast, salad for lunch then an OK meal in the evening. I had a prawn cocktail starter followed by sea bream with Mediterranean vegetables. So a few syns there in mayo and oil plus a couple of glasses of wine.

Today I'm using up stuff but need to do my meal plan and shop later. I'm going to make Bolognese tomorrow for the freezer so need to be sure I've got that covered.

    Today's plan-
B- HEB toast, ham, eggs (P), tomatoes (S), HEA milk for drinks
L- LO casserole and pickles (P,S,F)
D- Fake KFC (P), SW chips (F), broccoli, green beans, tomatoes and mushrooms (S)
    Syns- weekend wine😁

Sounds like you did OK for food yesterday @maman with not too many syns.

Forgot to say we're sharing a bottle of white tonight.  Tomorrow I'm going for a couple of G&Ts (can't have more as will be out of tonic and don't want to buy any before we go away.  Sunday night we won't be drinking as we need a fairly early night and will need to be up around 2.30am!  Is is worth going to bed?  Hell yes, a few hours is better than none!
