We're forecast a storm around 6 tonight but where we are the weather can be very hit and miss. Quite often we miss the storms but the other end of the island will get it. Years ago when I used to play golf it was really nice at home so I put on a skirt, got to the course at the other end of the island and it was absolutely p*ssing down - it's not easy getting over-trousers on over a skirt, LOL!0

Hi all,
Well done continuing to be in target range @joedenise and have a lovely holiday🍹🍹
My brother bought a new tablet for my mum which was very kind but left leaving me to set it up! Spent most of the day doing that then showing mum how to work it all. I’ll probably get a phone call later asking how to do something 🤣
Food has been on plan since getting back but a STS tomorrow would make me happy. Chicken Caesar salad for dinner and counting 4 syns for the dressing.0 -

Morning all, it's lovely and bright with a bit of breeze this morning so final load of washing done and out on the line.
Taking my friend shopping this morning as it looks like her move is going to fall through completely now as someone further down the chain has a problem with the mortgage. The offer ran out so the BS wanted it surveyed again, same surveyor and he's valued it lower so mortgage offer now not high enough. As you can imagine she's feeling really stressed with it all.
Today's plan:
B - sausage sandwich - HEB; 3.5
L - burger, onions, chips - S; F; 0.5
D - lamb tagine, couscous - P; S; F; 6
HEA - milk
HEB - bread
Syns - sausages 2; LF spread 1.5; burger 0.5; dried apricots/sultanas/flaked almonds 6; couple G&Ts 6
Have a good day everyone.0 -
Afternoon all 😁
Denise, I've lost track when you go away is it this week?
I lost 1lb this morning, so dropped out of target.
Was nippy here this morning, had a Cardi on and took coat as looked like rain, but not had any yet but really blowing up now, but got really warm had to take cardi off when I was doing deliveries.
Just had this to eat, 4 syns part hexa.
Had banana at group

Oh dear @bubbs, I expect you didn't really want to lose that pound. Perhaps it's all the Body Magic with the deliveries. You seem to be losing quite easily at the moment. Would you consider dropping your target?🤔
Has the new waffle maker arrived yet?
Your friend hasn't had much luck with selling her house @joedenise. Seems ironic that you're taking her shopping when you don't need anything at all.
It's stayed dry here except for a few spots today despite what the weather forecast said which is a 90% chance of rain.
I've put Bolognese in the SC, made some tomato sauce for meatballs and just going to prep tonight's dinner and maybe do some veg ready for tomorrow.
Today's plan-
B- HEB porridge, HEA milk, strawberries (S), banana (F)
L- JP (F), tuna (P), salad (S)
D- sausage casserole with penne (P,S,F)
Syns- LTL mayo 1, BGTY sausages 2, weekend wine😁0 -
Another grace week then @bubbs; as @maman says is it worth dropping your target with the amount you're losing at the moment? You really seem to be dropping out of bottom end quite frequently.
I did actually need a couple of bits @maman so not a problem taking my friend so she didn't need to get the bus. Don't think she'd have been able to carry the amount of shopping she bought! As well as food for herself she also needed dog food and kibble so quite heavy.
I've already got a few things on my list for when we come back from holiday but no doubt there will be quite a bit more although I'll try to use as much as possible from the freezer.
We've got a free hour's electric tomorrow afternoon so I'm going to make a goat curry for dinner tomorrow night then and will just need to reheat it when we want to eat and make some rice to go with it. I've got the goat out of the freezer to defrost ready to use. Hoping I can make enough for tomorrow's dinner but also enough to put a small portion in the freezer for a lunch as I've already got a small lunch portion in there to use.
We're actually off on holiday in the early hours on Monday morning! Leaving home about 3am as we've got a 7am flight so should be at the hotel just after lunch - of course it will be too late to get a proper meal but at least the snack bar will be open so probably something like pizza or burger!
