Hi all,
Sorry about the pound @bubbs seems strange saying that 🤣
Been heavy rain here all day but nothing will darken my mood - I lost 1.5!! How? Ive no idea but grabbing it and running 🤣
I’ve done some batch cooking - chilli, bolognaise, meatballs and tomato pasta sauce. I’ve turned one of the sauces into anrrabiata and having it over a roasted chicken breast with new potatoes and loads of veg for dinner.

Well done @Jellybaby on your 1.5lb loss.
Can't be long til your holiday @bubbs so being out of target might not be such a bad thing as gives you plenty of leeway for fish and chips, LOL!

Morning all, weather not as nice this morning as very cloudy although it is dry. Glad I decided to do the washing yesterday as it was all dry by the time there was a bit of rain. It started just as we got back to my friend's house but DH noticed and got it all in. He even folded and put it all away - that's got to be a first!
Just got to do the last minute packing and get the suitcases into the car today. Will need to leave the hand luggage to finish in the morning as I need to take my inhaler before putting it into the medicines bag. Was hoping my old one would last but had to start it a few days ago.
You'll be going away a few days before we get back @bubbs. Hope you manage to find a Belgian bun like you did before - sounds like you really enjoyed it! Have to say I find them a bit boring - would much rather have a fresh cream cake or a scone, jam and clotted cream! Neither of which are good when you're trying to lose weight!
Today's plan:
B - fry up - sausages, egg, beans - P; F; 2 (no Speed as run out of mushrooms)
L - toasted cheese sandwich, pickles - HEA2; HEB; S
D - goat curry, rice, mango chutney - P; S; F; 3
HEA1 - milk
HEA2 - cheese
HEB - bread
Syns - sausages 2; mango chutney 3
Have a good day everyone.

Well done on your 1.5lbs @Jellybaby, seems like the fish options did the trick.👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
You had a good session of batch cooking too.👍🏼 The SW group I've been going to for the past few weeks seems to have a number of people who eat the SW ready meals. I've only ever tried one which was OK but would far prefer to make my own. I can see that the Iceland ones are useful if you have limited cooking facilities or want to play safe with the syns but they're not for me.
I'd forgotten about your coming holiday @bubbs. Being right at the bottom end is a perfect position to be in before you go away. You just need to wear your boots and coat at next week's WI and then you can have as many Belgian buns as you want!🤣
Personally, I can take or leave most cakes and puddings but I am partial to some baclava and ice cream when I'm in Turkey.😋 I was reading an article about holidays in Bulgaria this morning @joedenise and they seemed to have quite a good bus network so that'll be useful if you want to get out and about. I'll be interested in what sort of food is on the AI buffet. It'll probably be international but it's very close to Turkey and Russia so that might be an influence.🤔
I've put some washing out and it's drying well. We've had the odd shower but not heavy enough to bring things in and it's blowy. Well done Joe for seeing to yesterday's laundry.😇
I've got to portion up the Bolognese for the freezer so plan to keep some out for my lunch. I did well yesterday evening. We went round to a neighbour around 5pm as it was her birthday and I ignored a table packed with beige food (just ate 2 chocolate dipped strawberries) and came home and had my SW friendly dinner.😊
Today's plan-
B- HEB toast, beans (F), eggs (P), HEA milk
L- JP (F), Bolognese sauce (P,S), salad (S)
D- beef in 'red wine' (P,S), new potatoes (F), loads of Speed veg (S)
Syns- cornflour 1, weekend wine😁0 -
Afternoon all 😁
Denise have a fab holiday. I don't like fresh cream so thats a bonus for me, I like cakes like Belgian buns or iced buns, even better with butter on🤣🤣 doughnuts etc.
I was hanging my washing out and came over as black as your mother's hat! But I thought it would blow over as quite windy and it has been a beautiful morning.
Just had lunch, ham and cheese spread egg wraps.
Roast beef dinner tonight.

Have a great holiday @joedenise. 😎
It's been a good day here @bubbs but we've had a few very heavy showers. DH grabbed the washing and I just finished the towels off in the tumble dryer just to get them put away.
40 meatballs are ready to go in the oven in a moment @Jellybaby. 😋1 -
Happy holidays Denise.I’m going to go back to class tomorrow. First plan is to get back into target & then to loose 1/2 a stone as I am feeling frumpy. Thanks everyone.
Good on you going back to class tomorrow @beanielou. Does that mean you've had your birthday? If so, belated happy birthday.
