    I'm here @joedenise. 😊

Sorry to hear that the shorts didn't work out but thank goodness you used an old sheet to experiment on. Hope you have better luck with the second attempt. 🤞

I did my food shop today as we're out for lunch tomorrow. It's really thrown me as I keep thinking it's Friday evening. I'd love to have a few wine syns but I'm determined to get back into target ASAP so I'm abstaining. I'll need any spare syns for tomorrow.

I went to M&S food when I was out and got some of the syn free English mustard to try.

    Today's plan -
B- HEB porridge, berries (S), banana (F), HEA milk
    L- ham, egg (P), 3 potatoes (F), LO veg and pickles (S)
D- salmon (P), SW chips (F), green stuff, tomatoes and mushrooms (S)
    Syns - 0😇

Sorry you didn’t get away Joedenise and hope it’s not too expensive. We’ve had a stone chip the windscreen again  and as theyd  repaired a big chip soon after we bought it….I’m hoping for a new windscreen this time around as it looked a mess with the repaired chip last time
Well done Maddiemay for getting back in target. 👏👏👏
We ended up having a night away. I’d bought Dh a steam train ride as part of his birthday pressie back in November and we decided we’d better use it whilst there were lots of trains running during the holidays. We did chuckle as there were lots of very young families and then old codgers like us 😂😂 We travelled to Cambridgeshire and stayed in the carpark of an old coaching pub which was laid out for MHs. No charge to stay,  if we ate in the pub. It was all home made and not badly priced £18 for 2 courses I had liver, bacon and onions which I’ve not had for ages with mash and veg. Plus I had a slice of home made cheesecake which unfortunately would have been laden with syns, unlike the lovely ones posted by Bubbs on here. We had a great day on the train and hopped off at several places. One stop was quite a long one which advertised a cafe in a wildlife and industrial heritage centre. I’d planned a salad….unfortunately it was closed as the staff member phoned in sick so we ate 3 coconut crumblies - which were very nice. We stopped half way home at a place in The Peak District by a river which the bikers love and it’s famous for its fish and chips. It would have been rude to pass on a small portion with mushy peas for £7.50. Worth every penny and syn. The upshot is I’d put 1 1/2lb  back on this morning. I’ve been straight back on it today.
Breakfast - hi fi bar and fruit in group 3 syns
dinner - out with old work friend  - chicken, bacon and avocado salad……put thy forgot the avocado 😳 - saved us the syns though 😉
tea - sw wrap, hea cheese, stir fried chicken, onion, pepper, onion and garlic
snacks - apple, penguin biscuit 51/2 syns
We’re going out to a fancy burger place on Saturday so I’ll do what I can in between times then I’ve got Dd and gks coming from Tuesday onwards and as they go on Friday were heading to North Wales for a week. I’m thinking I might rejoin sw when I get back for another fresh start and to re gain some holidays….i just don’t like paying for the 2 weeks I’ll miss and I’ve used my holidays…..or I might just go it alone again as going to group hasn’t particularly helped me. I think I get more encouragement on here. I’ll mull it over.
