Actually having an enplane day today!
We had a bacon sandwich for breakfast (HEB; P; 2); tuna salad for lunch (P; S); and minced beef hash for dinner tonight (P; S; F).
Going to make @bubbs cheesecakes today but only making the plain ones but will be using the mint skinny crunch for the bases. Will have to see if I've got any flavouring for the topping which will be with the mint! Bought the tub of Seriously Strong cheddar spread Lighter. Am I right in thinking it's 55g for HEA?
Not sure whether I'll be posting tomorrow but it's likely to be an off plan day as we're planning a day trip to Folkestone. We'll drive to Canterbury and park up there and get the bus; parking is easier in Canterbury at the P&R than trying to park in Folkestone, also very cheap at £4 a day! Will use our bus passes so no cost there either. Hoping we can find the lovely fish restaurant we used earlier this year - they do grilled fish as well as fried!
Enjoy your time with family @Jellybaby.
Have a good day everyone.0 -
Enjoy yourselves @Jellybaby and @joedenise. We know we'll get back on plan after any celebrations so just make the most of it and be sure to enjoy the syns. 😁
I'd have thought that as you're off alcohol @Jellybaby you have plenty of syns for an Indian meal. 👍
Hope you do manage to find the seafood restaurant tomorrow @joedenise and any syns will be far fewer than what you might have had if you were away.
Brunch worked out really well. We met up around 11 and no one was having a full meal. Others had croissants and Danish pastries but I just had coffee. 😇
No LO veg today as no roast yesterday. I came home and had LOs from Saturday's curry on a JP. It was yummy and even better than the original as it had time to marinate. I found a HB recipe for easy chicken jalfrezi which used tinned tomatoes and will definitely make again. It made 3 generous portions so next time I'll double up and make enough for the freezer.
Today's plan -
B- fry up (P, F), HEB toast, HEA milk
L- JP with chicken curry and salad (P S, F)
D- veggie chilli sauce rice (P, S F)
Syns - 0

@maman I love day old curry, chilli etc. so much more flavour.
@joedenise P&R can make visiting different area so much more relaxed and mostly cheaper than car parking as such. Have a good day.
@Jellybaby enjoy your time with the family.
@bubbs the cheese cakes look very tempting. OH is lighter in mood, having got used to the situation so far and updated some of his family, long supportive chats, physical things a weeny bit better to, but again may be partly feeling less new. Is OH still waiting on information?
@Suffolksue nice loss.
Lots of time on plan, but plenty of meals/ lapses not on plan not beating myself up ATM.
Cool/chilly morning here, very warm again this afternoon, done quite a lot of garden tidying for green bin collection, so many plants dying and found 3 dead Bumblebees in the last few days, just not enough flowers left to feed them opinion seems to be split about putting sugar water out for them. Lawns, verges and fields all look as if they are crumpled Weetabix not grass, not had rain for weeks even though some parts have. Back out with the watering cans before tea and a night of quizzes.
The best thing about the future is that it comes one day at a time. (Abraham Lincoln)0 -
Been sewing again this afternoon and have finished another skirt! I couldn't finish it yesterday as couldn't find a zip! Managed to get one from a shop in town but had to get one which was a bit shorter than I really wanted as didn't have one the right colour in the longer ones. So sewn in, hem turned up and stitched. Just need to wash it now and again hopefully it won't crease too much.
Well done on just having a coffee @maman. I can leave the pastries and croissants in this country but not in France when we're on holiday.
Going to give the cheesecakes a go probably on Wednesday. DH bought custard tarts today so not wanting more sweet stuff!

A very good friend is getting married next year. Time to give myself a big kick up the proverbial.I was chatting with my GP last week about my arms and legs and how unhappy I am with them. The constant falling has altered the shape of my legs and my arms are dire as the muscles there don’t work properly. Time to stop feeling sorry for myself and loose another stone. Sorry to hear that @beanielou. Is there anything the GP can do about the number of falls you're having?
I know you can lose the weight as you've done it before and will do it again. Perhaps start posting regularly again like you used to.
Looking forward to our day out at Folkestone. I'm pretty sure today will be more or less on plan assuming we can find the fish restaurant again!
We've had a toasted cheese sandwich for breakfast with pickled onions; I'll probably have grilled cod, a jacket potato and salad. There will be a few syns as the potato came with butter already added last time. May have a glass of wine with it. I've got out a beef bourguignon out for dinner tonight which we'll have with some mash and veg although if we don't need anything as filling then we'll have a salad of some sort (will need to pick some lettuce leaves from the garden as none left in the fridge!).
Have a good day everyone.

@bubbs yes I remember now, sorry not retaining much ATM.

Morning all, I’ve still to read back and catch up but hope you’re all well.
I think I’m in a food coma! Although yesterday could have been a lot, lot worse. We went to a carvery for lunch and apart from a few roast potatoes i would say everything was on plan - no yorkies or gravy as I don’t like them (sorry 🤣 I know I’m weird). I was still full at dinner time so chose chicken tikka and didn’t have any rice, sauce or nan as I literally didn’t have room!Today, I’m out with my best friend for lunch. She lives in London and only here for a few days. We’re going to a local garden centre so will probably have a baked potato or salad.
Back to dull and breezy here. Have a good day everyone.0
