I know it's not you who's away @Jellybaby but I think you have to treat this week a bit like a holiday. Enjoy the meals out with your friends and family and then eat SW at home whenever you can. Hope today works out well for you.🤗 I've just been looking at flights to Scotland as we're fancying a short break in the autumn but not sure where to go yet.

Thanks everyone for your good wishes. I somehow also managed to win Slimmer of the Week, only the second time in about 14 years. It was quite a decent basket too with Frylight, passata and various things I know I'll use. There's a tub of Aromat too. Anyone ever used that?🤔

I was interested in the post about the mustard @bubbs. The only English mustard I can find online that's free is M&S but I do enjoy it with ham so probably worth the extra cost. Aldi's Dijon is free too.

I'm going to make a bit of a cheat roast dinner today, using a pack of chicken slices. I have HM gravy in the freezer and loads of veg to use up as we didn't have a roast on Sunday.

    Today's plan-
B- Fry up (P,F), HEB toast, HEA milk
L- JP, beans (F), salad (S) will add a slice of ham to get some protein in
    D- chicken dinner (P,S,F)
    Syns- gravy 4?

I used to use Aromat regularly years ago but stopped buying it for some reason.  Probably because I started using more spices and cooking a few more curries and suchlike.

Not doing much today other than returning the swimsuit I bought yesterday and a watch I bought last week.  The legs on the swimsuit were enormous and my legs (and bum) are not fat enough to fill it, although it was quite tight getting it on!  As it was in the sale I could only do an exchange so swapped it for a skirt for holiday as they didn't have much else I liked.

The watch was returned because it kept changing the watch face after I'd changed it to one which was easy to read and it was driving me mad so got a refund on that and gone back to my old one.

Have managed to wash, dry and put away a machine load of washing today.  It felt a bit damp when I was hanging it out and was very cloudy but was forecast to brighten up so thought it worth a try and it was!

    Plan for today:

    B - cheese omelette - HEA2; P
    L - fajitas - HEB; P; S; 1.5
    D - goat curry, rice - P; S; F

    HEA1 - milk
    HEA2 - cheese
    HEB - SW wap
Syns - sweet chilli sauce 1.5

    Have a good day everyone.

I think the Aromat will go to the food bank @joedenise as, like you, I have masses of herbs and spices so can make my own blends and mixes which is what Aromat seems to be. 🤔

Don't knock having thin thighs! 🤣 That's one of the places any excess pounds seem to settle on me. ☹️

I prefer bikinis to one piece swimsuits as I have a long body and they're more comfortable. I try to buy a new one most years but this year I couldn't fancy anything so made do with old ones.

I went out with DD1 this afternoon and got a lovely Next black satin slip skirt for £3.50 in the CS. It'll be good for a Halloween dance. 🎃

I'm taking bikinis @maman, just wanted a one piece as there is a waterpark nearby and a bikini isn't a good idea for that - ask me how I know, LOL?  Went to one when we went to Italy, came down one of the slides in a sort of boat behind DH and flew over the top of him into the water and came up with the top round my neck!

Fortunately I've still got one from last year so that will do!

Thanks @bubbs. I saw free Dijon mustard, even in Aldi, but M&S was the only English ready made one I saw.

You can tell the weather's changing. You had a hot dinner! 🤣

Morning all, definitely a bit cooler today and still very cloudy.  Another machine load of washing done and out on the line.  Yesterday's dried OK even though there was rain in the air when I hung it out.

I bought a pattern making system years ago at a sewing show I went to with my friend but haven't actually used it yet so decided to get it out and see if I can make a pair of shorts!  I've made the paper pattern and cut it out so just need to work out how to sew it together as there are absolutely no instructions!  Will see how I get on with that - I'm using an old sheet to try it before cutting decent fabric so as not to waste it.

    Today's plan:

B - scrambled eggs on toast - HEB; P; 1 (had half slice left so had some HM marmalade on it)
    L - minced beef hash - P; S; F
    D - corned beef, chips, beans - F; 4

    HEA - milk
    HEB - bread
    Syns - marmalade 1; corned beef 4

    Have a good day everyone.

Where on earth is everyone?  It's bit lonely here today!

Well there was definitely something wrong with my pattern - it was much longer on one side than the other but at least I worked out how to get them together into one piece but of course no way were they right so been binned.  Decided to go through my patterns and I've found a shorts pattern to try.  I've traced off the pattern onto a pattern making roll and cut round them.   Can make a start of them tomorrow hopefully.
